I don't think Zauper plays. He might have like a test account or something but I'm not 100% sure.
I suggest you guys stop by discord and see how it feels and go from there. Sometimes shared stories from old timers who weren't your besties or kdmates, but did share mutual respect, even if it was in battle, can be great fun to play with.
