I see. Thanks for the clarification. Perhaps they should correct that on Wikipedia. The article I was reading, because I thought it was interesting that Canada recognizes Cree as one of it's languages (although not official), stated that one of the variations of Cree is influenced or has words from Gaelic.

It was even more interesting seeing that signs on the streets where, I imagine, Cree people live, are in Cree, English and French. I think that's amazing.

There are a lot of variations to Cree. One of them, I read, was even influenced by Gaelic. Which type of Cree do you speak, hon?
