Out of interest, how would you cope with having to rely on Mass Relays to get around? Getting into a large empires territory would be impossible if the host is saying there isn't one in there, and remote star systems are out of the question.

You are right, in FT population doesn't really matter. When I started out I had an empire but my population was small. I'm about 1 billion point 7 or soemthing, but my new race will only be about 1 billion max in populaiton.

In anycase, for what you're aiming for i'd say that populaiton doens't matter, you're not a nation, your a reaper "A reaper is a nation in itself" along those lines but you get what I mean. So for you it shouldn't be a problem; especially since the Reaper fleet will never get through for you in RPG.

Yes... those Darkships are as far as I know the most powerful vessel in the NS FT verse, there could be others but i'm not aware of them.

And when I meant populaiton I meant the population of your Nation Staes nation, as in the actual site itself.

Yes, the big trick is convincing everyone that having an "invincible" machine is not god modding, also they'd descend upon your nations statistics to see if you can even have it so be careful. What is your population size by the way?

And yes I like espionage, but my race are jellyfish who are forced to utilised glass "tanks" for mobility and interacting with other species.

As for your NPC thread, yes that would be a superb idea, then when someone challeneges you about it you can defer to that and tell them to read it, to show you aren't god modding.

Anyway, I'd love to be able to participiate in your thread. You'd probably have to play as the main protagonists but if my people can help they'd glady do so. My people are firendly, caring and philosphical but ultimatly they are oppertunistic capitalist so there has to be something in it for them to a degree, just stopping the threat of invasion would be good however. Depending on your situation then I could maybe fulfill a supplier, information gathering, assiting role if you'd like. How involved and proactive I can be depends greatly on the setting.

I'd be most pleasured in joining you in your thread, quite how I interact in it will depend though. I'm playing as a space faring race that is much smaller than what I could have in FT, mostly it's because i'm interested in politics, diplomacy, economy, trading, espionage ect more than out right fighting. But if I could get into your thread without open fighting i'd enjoy it.

But yes, don't expect to make any head way into this galaxy, trust me. I can think of at least four empires (one i've only eve RPed with and that was short) who would sweep the reapers aside. Trust me, the NS universe is far more dangerous on the inside than it is on the outside!

But yes, consider yourself apart of my thread! It would be great to have your people in thier, have wahteve motives you wish, but don't try shooting eveyone else, it may come to a head at the very end I suspect but throughout most of it lay off the open shooting, more subtle stuff is up to you to discern.
