That's cool, when I get the time I'm gonna put a big post with the ceremony in it up and then there'll be some drama.

It's complicated because there are hundreds of cultures in the empire and at times they bleed into each other. The Court culture is sort of Mongol-Turkic-Persian. But Urgench is sort of on a different time line to the real world so they're more advanced in some ways and less so in others.

They are hedonistic and libidinous and free-thinking but they can be formal and a bit dreamy too.

Personal freedom and self awareness are their big watch-words. They take innumerable pharmaceutical chemicals ( for pleasure and other things ) and are obsessed with perfumes ( which ties in with their medicine ) and love rare and precious things and unusual experiences and people.

Their politics is complicated because the empire is so large and has such a complicated constitution which allows all kinds of big and small vassal states to have varying degrees of autonomy. So yeah the politics is complicated, hopefully I'll be able to cast some more light on it as I go. Hopefully

Brilliant, Urgenchis almost speak to each other in precious gifts, its all symbolic and meaningfull. The Archbishop will be a great hit

Nothing too dramatic, its a big state occasion so you'll get him to meet some Urgenchi big wigs and learn about its politics and culture a bit. He can tell them about the delights of Sanctaria, maybe start making alliances at court e.t.c.. There may be some political fireworks which will hopefully be enlightening and interesting. Its a getting to know you, getting to know all about you kind of thing.

Yeah so like I said I only have much experience helping others write stuff, which has been good schooling, especially the replacement child protection act which I helped write but refused co-authorship credits for.

But my advice stands, don't directly copy an old U.N. res but do use one as inspiration or a launching off point and be prepared that your final draft may look completely different from your first draft.
