So province in my kd does rebuild after war win , he goes mental and builds 100% mills. Prov is at 1k acre with 10k peasants . Middle of the tick yet once he builds the mills he dies. What is this ?

a fitting end for someone building 100% mills i guess... i dunno.
if he HAD 10k peasants and kept his military from being larger before/during the war, he could have overpopulated and pushed them all out, over time, i suppose, but your description sounds like they had that under control.

that makes the most sense:
1. start construction of every acre in province
2. cancel all construction
3. somehow the code says you have 0 acres instead of 0 "built" acres
4. 0 acres triggers dead province script

This was a bit unusual, we have dealt with the Province that experienced this bug and deployed a hotfix so it doesn't occur again.
To clarify some of the speculation:
- OOPS did not kill this province. The province actions developed a condition which the umunk script it was running couldn't handle and displayed the umunk script OOPS message. There was no server side OOPS that took place at all.
- There was no 'mistake' in what was coded. The way the game handles land is complex and not just a simple variable. In order to cancel building construction it goes through several states and there are checks along the way that unintentionally saw this particular condition as a dead province. We've taken appropriate measures to address this.
