UF NEWS: Bodega of Lotus war JU ON
War broke out between Bodega and JU ON after a hostile period that lasted a few days. Bodega had waved JU ON July 10th Y5 and retals began an hour later as JU ON tagged RETAL WAR. Hits were sent back and forth, with JU ON making sure not to give up the button. There were no communications between the kingdoms until about 2 days in, but any CF negotiations fell through. Bodega picked a plan based on what they felt would make JU ON want to get a CF in place as quickly as possible.
Bodega went for trad marching the faeries of JU ON but to no avail, no cf was offered. With the hostile continuing and no war or cf on offer, Bodega decided to try and max out the meter. JU ON had focused on opping the orcs of Bodega throughout the hostile period and probably having felt they had damaged them enough, they declared war:

JU ON sent a full wave and a ruby after the declaration:

Bodega were able to slay this dragon after having it for 10 hours:

Bodega weren't expecting war so soon, so they had only started funding their sapphire after the declaration.

JU ON decided to keep the saphire that Bodega had sent to them. Bodega focused trads on the undeads of JU ON, as they had high mod off but low def making multi taps a lot easier. It made their deep chains a lot more effecient and were able to effectively remove the undeads as a major threat in the war. Bodega also kept MS up on their biggest nw provs to help control their growth, troop counts and econ. JU ON had the op advantage in the war, focusing on MS, propoganda and NS, but the
sapphire helped control the flow of their ops against Bodega. After min time, the trend was in favour of Bodega as ther was a 1m nw difference and JU ON were continuing to lose nw while Bodega continued to grow. 10 hours after min time JU ON threw in the towel:
July 7 of YR6 JU ON has withdrawn from war. Our people rejoice at our victory!
