READ the guide, ambush values are RAW offense, and based on elite def and raw ospec values typically 4 or (5) depending on your race. to calculate get an accurate SOM then figure out the elite values 7/1 7/1 5/3 whatever, take the number of elites and o specs sent, find the elites defense value (RAW) and the o specs sent for ambush (RAW VALUES).
The guide is always a good place to start :) But Kemia you are slightly mistaken, or you mistyped.

its from experenices over years and from developers and moderators i learned its all raw values if ou got 100% SOM send that exat amount +1 and its GG for recapture, anyways, thanks for the solid back up, as far as a mistyping, probably kinda drunk and laying watching anime :3 but as i said its based on the raw values of the specs/elites sent, if you over send a bit (any paranoid attacker does to ensure success) its typicalQuote:
