I know they changed the rate of gain per book.... so im guessing instead of aiming for 350k I should aim for 300k..... but no proof.

Na, I think in terms of opportunity cost. Taking one path will prevent another path from being taken.
Pop allocation is the same idea but much more finite than science yet is more recyclable than science.....

Twenty eight Scientists at end of Age. No Laboratories ... i had Revelations cast for perhaps a quarter of the Age.
I ended age at 35 scientists, as dwarf/undead attacker in a war KD with minimal learns and only 2 WW. Here's my breakdown:
