AGE 109 - Yr2 War - DQ Transformers (6:6) vs Medicated (3:3)

I caught up with the monarch of Drama Queens Transformers (6:6) to talk about their second war with Medicated Gamers (3:3) for a quick summary of what happened! Remember that after losing in their first war against Cinema (6:10) they rerolled some avians to dryads!

Hello and thank you for reaching out to me about your war! Please give me a quick summary on your victory and any other comments you have about it.

July 24 of YR1 - War declared on 3:3
April 15 of YR2 - 3:3 withdrew from war

They were almost all mystics, and, for whatever reason, underutilized that. We had better econ and our dragons had more effect on them. Sustaining was tricky for them. Our dryads were like chained provinces before the war but were good at clean-up. We chained better and deeper than them. We Night Strike (NS) a lot of their troops and paired with losses and dragons, they were not holding much defense on any province, except a few. It was a matter or time, rather than it ever being close, because they fundamentally played it wrong tactically. They mass'd and chained the same provinces, often bringing players back to regular population levels - so they were neither fat nor overpopulated. If we had mis-stepped, it might have been very different however. It was clever tackling of their attackers, one by one, that helped. Our mage capabilities were compromised, against so many mystics, and the thief opp's were tricky. Therefore, everything was more selective. Once we had the peasant and unit lead, and they could not justify killing the fourth drake, it was a matter of time. We could tank some of the drakes because we had several UBs. They eventually used avian technique to take these down, but at the expense of allowing us to take them out better.
