A request to the Admins. Protect interests of larger KDs.

The game is too boring to CF anymore. Its more fun to be razed than to CF. :D

I am completely good with the state of affairs in the kingdoms in question. All is right with the universe.

Bart, we are in a two on one. If you want to join and make it 2v2, I have no objections. Besides, the additional tears and drama it would engender would be epic. You would get to meet Abi and learn all about Abilogic, which is even more amusing than Elitish.

A couple of ages ago I personally witnessed a situation where a top kingdom made a bottom feeding hit into a little kd. The guy retaliated...one hit.

I watched for the next 3-4 days as every province in the top kingdom razed into the smaller kingdom nonstop...army in/army out. Even after the smaller kingdom went fortified, the razes continued. The news feed was amazing. NW doesn't matter when razing, remember that.

That may have been enough to discourage/disband that smaller kd, but truthfully the smaller kd still had a ton of revenge power. Larger kds are much easier to track and more info on their goals/position is generally known. The reason the massive raze wave happened was because the large kd was in a position where it was not going to affect its crown chances. The small kd could easily revenge such bullying in later ages with well timed plunders into prep and hitting into the larger kds wars. The larger a kd the more it has to lose, and the more frustrated they become with that kind of interference. The only thing stopping it is if a small kd wants to have any other goals aside from fsu revenge.

These are all good points - *but* most smaller kingdoms do have other goals aside from revenge. The problem is the 22 province kingdom. You can try all you want to declare a vendetta, but the odds of getting all 22 provinces on board with that are fairly unlikely, and it would result in a defection of at least a few which, for many kingdoms that have spent time building up and trying to get to some sort of respectable level is very counterproductive.

That is why kingdom hopping is more fun

I get that, and I think vendetta's are generally a waste of time. However the power is there for any small kd that has the resolve and interest.

I know. It's like bar hopping for a living.

This is all besides the point, the point is ghettos should be scouting to hopefully rob/plunder top kingdoms, scout if for no other reason than curiosity sake. To see how they run their province.
But As long as they run 20Mil+ on 1tpa, doubletappable with their armies home and in your NW, they should be getting hit. Them making a big deal out of it is worse for them than for you. The more ghettos that buck up and be aggressive, the better for the rest of us.

There are, however, cultural norms. Hitting into a war is VERY significantly frowned upon by other *players* (not the admins, per se), and is something that your Kingdom's friends and allies might be willing and able to help with - because there are lots of people around willing to 'punish' that kind of conduct, and relatively few willing to defend it. (At least, not unless the Kingdom at issue is particularly powerful.)

When you're getting outside hits in a war, calling in outside help is a fair call. (To be clear, not here. Don't start posting locations around here to get assistance. But hopefully folks in your Kingdom have other connections.) Either his Kingdom is okay with him hitting into a war, in which case they deserve to share in the beating that follows such a thing, or they aren't, and should be willing to CF with you to put an end to the conflict.

What you are describing is called 'alliances' and we all remember how much ghettos loved to complain about those.

looks like the SS has angered yet another kingdom, Pufferfish. I wonder if Phonetics or the Libary will get back at them for the razekills in war or those 3k acre provinces will still be arround to mess with even more kingdoms.

Out of curiosity how do you know the SS is the ones starting stuff? The original post in here leaves me to believe that he started it with the kingdom he was having issues with.

they razekilled into wars of the two other kingdoms I mentioned and althougth their king got razed OOW by atleast Phonetics I belive they just responded to threts, looks like Pufferfish is dooing the same, don't know if they started threts of raze into war or they actually razekilled in their war also, but I belive if you get to that point with 3 seperate kingdoms witin half an age there is seriously something wrong with the way you do things, it was not because those 3 kingdoms got mean towards you.
