Proves you dont really understand mechanics. I guess you'll learn lesson as age unfolds. Ud was like my 3rd pick for core race this age.

Which ape left Ovenmitt in charge?
How do you prove something that didn't happen? I tend to be somewhat light-hearted, but I'll give this an "official / serious" response, so here goes:
We, PyroManiaCs, did not receive any free funds from any allied or other kingdom while preparing for the war with Simians in Age 60.
*Free funds being: gc/runes farm without thieves and/or defense.
Please show me where I can buy "Utopian Alliances for Dummies", written by Anri. Can't find it on Amazon...
You're funny...KLA standards...In de first ages of Utopia their attitude towards new players and the community was horrible. They bullied and badmouthed like all the rest back then.
Personal attack...boo! Also, read post #352 where cJ admits taking gc for CR preparation.
You should talk to Godly and measure up. If you have so much experience and all this super knowledge about Utopia, why do you feel the need to foulmouth/smacktalk the new kid on the block instead of beating them in the game? Here's a hint: you can't win in-game due to whatever reason. Since PyroManiaCs has not been actioned and hasn't ****played anyone the last 3 ages, they must be doing something right eh?
You think cJ is the worst problem in our kingdom? That just shows how much you know.
Hahahahahaha, if Anri met Nesta and cJ irl he would think otherwise.
Rumors that are being spread by your dear friend Drixx. Every time I heard stuff about "LOL alliance being formed" it led back to Drixx.
Ya know when it started? Just before our notice with Rage expired.
Pew noticed us. We noticed Rage. I told Drixx if we'd war Pew, he'd have nothing to worry.
24 hours before our notice with Pew expired, they asked us to restore relations. Despite having every intention to war them -knowing we'd never win- we didn't mind. Gave us a chance to fight with Rage.
Did I tell Drixx? No, I didn't bother. I didn't because he didn't inform me about his arranged war with Simians either (whilst having talked about a war between bb/rage at the time). We had no official agreement, that's right, but the least you can do is give a headsup that you may have other plans.
Did Pew tell him? Apparantly not but thats not my fault nor my problem.
That's where the whole alliance crap started because Drixx was mad about the notice.
I keep forums and utopia politics strict. IRL i would have a beer and laugh about this game with my worst enemy. You cant seperate the two. Not sure what you going at here? Outside of utopia im friends with everyone, ok maybe not Korp, but all others that have the attitude to seperate game and irl. There is a thin line between the two and its not that hard to seperate it. I take an example here. Binar and me use to trashtalk each other and screwed each other up ingame bigtime, then we just start talking about beer and chicks and all is good. Its a game <---
Just curious Clawz, what would i think about them irl? are they lifting, are they ugly, sexy, rich, poor, got weird haircuts, gangsters?
try playing 57 ages in a row. I have breaks where i only make armies and hardly nothing else. The age of Ovenmitt i had break and did hardly nothing but being a core player up til almost mid-age, i recruited the KD to make 25 etc, but once that was done it was all the rest til i started getting ready to play for real again. Facing Simians age 55 or age 59 or age 61 can be entirely different from facing it age 30 or age 20, there is even mid-age break offs some ages. Mostly towards summer and this is a spring age with less activity from the KD then normaly, pretty chill out age. So yes, it makes a huge difference who leads the KD and who does not and what player material we had that certain age.
Yeeiii i totaly took this thread and made it simian now. Even with my warnings in my small edit windows =D
I WON
Anri they are worse irl! What they portray in uto is just the tip of the iceberg :)
Only thing I remember when I was in BB Proteus was you losing your crown because you couldn't gain acres off a kd 1/2 your size who you didn't want to cf. I've also never given advice to drixx. Godly will apreciate you thinking humans/wh>ud/tact when the humans have no dspecs or thieves. He was trying to convince us it was ama because it seemed bad enough to be a Proteus strat.
edit: if your trying to say "as age unfolds" human/wh is awesome then yes ofc it is. By eoa with sci/pump time it's almost definitely the best possible setup. That doesn't mean it's good oop compared to more balanced comps. If you go something like that you take the risk that someone who is just messing around for an age sees you and waves.
you should tag "fairplay is oddplay"
I was convinced it was Proteus' stupid strat 100%. Knowing how cJ likes to follow people around and kiss their ass for strats, it probably still is. Considering cJ has been communicating with AMA and BB on how long to "stall us," it's quite clear who cJ is playing for this round. Any other kingdom (sitting on 3-4k defense on 95% of their provs) would have eaten the wave and CFed. I don't mind. It's a valid (although bad) strat. Even 17vs25, we will be ok :) I don't care if it takes 3 weeks. I have enough crowns. I don't have patience for noobs or narcs.
you should tag oddplay than =)
I like that :)
You can always wd. AMA left EOWCF early last age and put up our explore provinces. It's not impossible, lots of time left in the age. Can someone post some stats of the war?
Curious if you knew it was pyro, BB or AMA, why would you wave 3 kds that you know would take it to war? People don't give free waves when they all start with the same stuff unless they're like T/M personalities.
I was personally against waving. I feel like it puts you into a corner for the rest of the round. But they were correct in identifying that the entire war it would be 4x vs 2x due to Pyro running very low def and no thieves and human is generally bad OOP vs undead. So it would be almost impossible to lose. It was very similar to how you and I decided to wave Mercy in Pulse that one round. Taking out one of the competition early is always a good bonus. Best case it was AMA. Worst case it was Pyro. We rolled the dice :)
did we get a free wave or a war the round in question? I don't recall too many early wars.
They insta declared when troops came home. They had such low defense and troops out that it was a slaughter. They reset the elves after remember.
Almost IDENTICAL to what happened this round. Except this round we kinda had to play 17 vs 25. =\
I count 23 vs 25. Why are you not counting people who are 4x'ing eachother on your side? Don't you also have UBs you wouldn't have had w/o aid?
#godlymath
flogger, if they were good, it would have been 17v25. Fortunately, they're really bad. REALLY bad.
Flogger:
We came oop with 3 mystics that were safe. They did not get aid. Every province that got aid had more released than they received in aid.
Of those, we still got 3 safe -- mostly ones that screwed up their oop training. We had a fae who reversed training orders, so he came out with 4k defspecs. He still managed to get safe. One of our provs that was safe had enough released to become unsafe and was taken down.
Without the releasing, they would not have been able to make quads, they would have been doubling or a few triples. Their opening wave was 71 hits, and of those 71 hits, 31 were on the two land-def provs. Our bottom def after this (that i know of, humans may have had a little less) was still 8k -- what we started with as our bottom def. Their top off was still ~24k.
vs. pyro, including hostile/war:
[16:15] munkbot: pyro | own_tm:18107 (585) | own_raze:479 (13) | own_cq:2 (1) | own_bush:173 (6) | enemy_tm:17898 (612) | enemy_raze:1158 (26) | enemy_mass:408 (2) | enemy_bush:112 (5) | 272 total
They just made a wave with +4, we'll get in a few more hits.
----
And flogger, them taking it to war was very stupid. Their kd had under 1k defspecs, and was sending out all elites. Super high off / super low def loses when we train past their quad point to start, especially when we enter war with TDs and 2 TPA vs .5 TPA. Sure, both kingdoms had the same number of units, but our distribution of units was really setup to fight while theirs was setup to whore. That's why it was unwise for them to war. Only reason acre gains are close is because we're -2 provs in the war (though they've been able to hit those for maybe 800a or so now). That's a 1600a difference over the course of the war, maybe a little more.
(Why are pyro players saying we were asking for 2 free waves? They never messaged us...)
Warring oop on no acres is never a good idea unless your only planning on warring for the age. We didn't get our war with BB or Pyro last age so need to make up for it!
They assumed we would want 2 waves, I think. We didn't. There wasn't much left to take anyways as our hostile wave was very good.
I told council that despite my objections to waving, if they offer CF, don't be stupid and ask for another wave and I would be on board with it.
Overall, Pyro did a decent job at staying in the war given the circumstances of being underprepared. If our kingdoms were swapped, we would have won in their shoes after the Bishoping. However, before the Bishoping, no one could have won in their shoes. So thats why zauper is saying it's incorrect to declare. Not sure they had much of a choice though.
Its a prisonners dilemma, you'll never get waved OOP if your enemy is trying to chart and knows they'll declare just to hurt you as well. Waving pyros or AMAs doesn't seem like good strategy.
I think the age Godly is referring to, you guys waved sanc, not mercy, right oop and crowned ;p
The reality is, pre-bishoping, we could have reasonably expected to be +3k at mintime considering the pace at which we could have generated safe provs, +8k acres including WW bonus is a pretty strong advantage early.
(It's worth mentioning that I actually thought it was a total ghetto, not pyro AMA or BB)
Two members of a criminal gang are arrested
and imprisoned. Each prisoner is in solitary
confinement with no means of speaking to or
exchanging messages with the other. The
police admit they don't have enough
evidence to convict the pair on the principal charge. They plan to sentence both to a year
in prison on a lesser charge. Simultaneously,
the police offer each prisoner a Faustian bargain. Each prisoner is given the opportunity either to betray the other, by
testifying that the other committed the crime,
or to cooperate with the other by remaining
silent. Here's how it goes: If A and B both betray the other, each of them serves 2 years in prison If A betrays B but B remains silent, A will be set free and B will serve 3 years in prison (and
vice versa) If A and B both remain silent, both of them will only serve 1 year in prison (on the lesser
charge) It's implied that the prisoners will have no
opportunity to reward or punish their partner
other than the prison sentences they get, and
that their decision won't affect their reputation in
future. Because betraying a partner offers a
greater reward than cooperating with them, all purely rational self-interested prisoners would
betray the other, and so the only possible
outcome for two purely rational prisoners is for them to betray each other.[1] The interesting part of this result is that pursuing individual
reward logically leads both of the prisoners to
betray, when they would get a better reward if
they both cooperated. In reality, humans display
a systematic bias towards cooperative behavior
in this and similar games, much more so than predicted by simple models of "rational" self- interested action.[2][3][4][5] A model based on a different kind of rationality, where people
forecast how the game would be played if they
formed coalitions and then they maximize their
forecasts, has been shown to make better
predictions of the rate of cooperation in this and
similar games given only the payoffs of the game.

[16:47] <&munkbot> Definition munk: To stick only the tip of your penis in a girl's vagina.
[16:47] <&munkbot> Definition munking: The act of two people going out to a grave yard, digging up a female corpse around 1 month old, and then stealing it. Once it is stolen, person A (the smaller person) begins to eat out the corpse, person B (the larger: preferably over 200 lbs.) body slams the corpse and the organs come flying out the vagina and into/onto Person A's face.
munk, way to share with utopia which prov I am. That definitely lightened my mood.
Note to havoc, if you farm someone for a crown, and win said crown perhaps waving them OOP the next age and then talking up how great you are and how bad they are isn't the best way to repeat the whole server wanting to dealbreak and farm out to not have you win.
Food for thought
Not much more than was being stolen by other Kingdoms.
As far as I'm concerned, that war with CR was always going to be a joke, was never a contender to win, I personally would have rather warred than to give 50k acres for free.
The outcome would have been the same, minus the fun.
Can't recall any ally we farmed science or acres to, nope.
I can recall an ally of yours that we made a cf/acres deal with... that you encouraged to farm us for enough acres to crown, and told them how much that would be.
Flogger - we didn't know it was them when we waved them. We did when they declared. They had said they wanted a rematch on equal prep, and you can't get much more equal than oop, can you?
Dark Knight:
That doesn't really answer the question. (and what other kingdoms rob you for is kinda irrelevant?) I mean, it obviously didn't matter, and this is actually the first time anyone in our leadership heard about it.
The prov had a bit more than 25mil sci and was learned 51 times. (I think it was 51 + 1 tm and 4 razes from pew but feel free to correct me). After seeing RK's learn gains, I revised my estimate up.
But if you disagree with my estimate, feel free to post your own or exact numbers.
