We don't need damage control, we won. And it wasn't because of any xlogging or anything like that. There would be no point to xlog when you can set a sitter, I mean seriously. Even if you are poor, if you need a sitter all you do is ask and we give the credits to set one. So why would anyone risk it to xlog? It doesn't make sense. The whole story is that BLP declared on Jesters, we won, and BLP has no chance at a WW or honor crown this age. GG EZ.
And you should read what I said.
I never said that is what they did and I do not understand they they are banned. I said it is stupid that your determining factor for multi login essentially prohibits people that live together from playing utopia unless they buy separate sets of hardware to log in from.
I also said that you seemingly deleted two provinces belonging to two long time players because of a single incident without warning.
I understand deletions without warnings for new accounts - that would set off all sorts of flags.
But two players who have been playing for years from shared IP addresses set off a flag and without a warning you delete both? That seems like a very heavy handed approach to customer support, especially for a situation where the implications of the actions are not particularly damaging to the product.
Then you shouldn't be crying bloody murder that you aren't cheaters, when support says that you are. It doesn't help that your cheaters have come and post in this thread that they have a record of cheating.
That is how you should have approached this thread, but you didn't. You cried about the deletions, and you cried about Bishop's alleged bias, and you accused him repeatedly of deleting you out of spite because he supposedly played in BLP.Quote:

They are crying bloody murder because they are pissed that two of our long standing provinces were deleted overnight because they tripped a flag that is reasonably easy to do if you are a husband and a wife playing the game together.
It is incredibly heavy handed to run off and delete 2 provinces that have a long standing history of logging in from a shared IP because they, or anyone in our kd, could have told you they are married and like a normal married couple live together.
Give them a warning, if they repeat the action again in the age then by all means delete them. I wouldn't have sympathy if they cannot stop doing an action that causes a flag, assuming the action is reasonable to avoid.
Running off and deleting them without saying anything is ridiculously ****ty support.
They cried cause the players are real and they live togheter, in thier eyes accusations of xlogging is very unjust hence their emotional reactions.
It is funny that they have played togheter for 2 years in the same KD yet only now do they get deleted... Why did the Utopian Lords react so late?
They had no chance at honor crown anyways.Quote:

why the heck is the supervisor playing the game? guy snatch and this is the outcome.
We dont have a record of cheating. We have been deactivated before. We werent cheating then and we arent now. There wasnt even any incident or evidence. The log support sent to me showed one log from lastnight. It doesnt show 2 or more. I am still waiting for the rest of the logs to be posted. We were laying in bed, back to back, ignoring each other while playing on our own devices like we do every night. Spending good quality time together lol like when we go out to dinner at chili's and use their free wifi to check our pv's (on our own devices, at the same time) while we chow on popcorn & wait for our food to come out.
Krissy got deleted? hope she still plays. it'll be sad to lose a passionate player.
Then please make it publicly known if players can signal to the admins that they live togheter and play utopia.
How to prove that no xlogging takes place?
How can they play by not breaking the rules?
Do they have to have diffrent Internet connections on diffrent devices?
Or are people living togheter that want to play togheter not allowed in this game?
Please take time to respond to my questions Bishop, IMHO it would be good for the community if everyone can avoid these types of mistakes in the future.
Bishop,
"If it is found that you were deleted in error your account will be restored, along with your province."
Neither of us logged in with each others devices. We use our own accounts and our own devices. I know the mac addresses will show that.
What?
I said it is a heavy handed approach to support and dealing with cheaters in the system.
I never said I should be able to pick and chose which rules apply.
I did say that the rule of insta deletion without warning is really dumb, and I stand by that. If you have the logs you claim to have, which I believe you do, it should be fairly clear that they regularly are online from the same IP as well as regularly online throughout the day at the same time from different IPs in different locations. I would say that it is completely reasonable that you can deduce that they are two players who live together and both actively play.
Apparently the message they got from you (?) or someone was: Behaviour that may be legitimate, such as logging in after your housemate, is identical to the behaviour of someone that may be cheating. As such, you should avoid any such actions as deletions as a result of this behaviour will not be reversed.
That is heavy handed because as I described above, you can tell that they are legitimate players because of all of their other activity.
It seems like you are the one that is picking a one off situation and digging your heels into the ground on it.
Of course, you are in charge and don't owe me anything.
