From time to time I enjoy reading through these forums, I'm a little surprised this thread is still going :P

I think in AMA we have a great group of players and I rank our line up as one of the best on the server, if not the best. All you can do in this game is put yourself in good position EOA to have a shot at crowning and let the chips fall where they may, I personally am happy with 1-3 finishes.

It's just my second age here but I've had a lot of fun and good laughs. If you aren't having fun you probably shouldn't be playing :P The last age fail GB vs AMA was a lot of fun!!

I was pretty surprised when Elit mentioned towards the end of last age about Proteus potentially playing for AMA. So far it's been a great addition for AMA having him here, and I enjoy reading his forum posts :P. I'm hoping to see a bunch of wars this age and farm as many kingdoms as possible, and like Elit said Proteus is one of the best farmers of ghetto's in the game :D and since so many ghettos are in the top 10 it only makes sense :D

While I remember it to be closer to 15 than 20, our act was apparently not worse than yours: it produced no response from the community. Was it opportunistic? Of course. Making the best out of the situation is what puts you ahead of the pack.

P.S. We would've still been in the top. We had a 30k lead going into our pump.

Please. We would've won the war easily, but we wanted to maximize growth - not rack up WW's. Simply, we judged hitting into war as more profitable than waving into fort and thus saw that as an acceptable course of action should we not be able to pressure Strippers to take us to war. We hedged our bets so that even if we lost (Strippers chose not to war) we would still come out on top (gaining land).

P.S. I am not in SWEA this age.

How is that taken out of context? What you said is core players do not matter and it is all down to leadership. I bet you say the most important player in the kingdom is the bank as well? Do you ever consider that without the core, the cow would not have grown? True most players can play core but what you said is totally disrespectful to the kd.

Also You not being in AMA leadership, if you crown, I take this will not count as +1 crown to Proteus then? If you are in leadership and crown it will be all done to you/elit and no player in AMA can brag that they crowned?

Its interesting how you talk about people arent leaders, if look at the charts and Rage during your "surpreme" rule Rage have won only 1 crown. Amongst those ages you lost against kingdoms like BIO who you only claim to be are farms.

This crown business is getting out of hand. I apologise for the madness that I created.. it was only meant for fun and for my own kingdom's enjoyment.

And you cant win against garbages kds like SWEA withtout them giving you the button. What does that tell you about your kingdom then? And against "good" kds you obviously think to even have a remote shot you have to dealbreak them. Oh and win "WW crown" you have to cheat.

Oh. You got me all wrong. I have no need or desire to justify my/our actions. I am simply in the business of clarification. That said, we won against Rage on our own and we would've won fairly straight-forward against you. But like already stated: We weren't going for the WW chart, we wanted land. We weren't afraid of giving you the button, we simply saw it as sub-optimal play given our end (which it was). Why should we not play our cards to our favour? I don't get it.

Really hard for me to respond to people i just finished farming a couple of weeks ago, take your defiled carcass elsewhere. And we never lost to bio, we beat them in war the age they won eoa as they farmed hoh after losing our fight.

Proteus, why you be so hated by your peers? I know in your eyes my crowns are nothing, but still.. A kingdom has 25 players, but Proteus is the one to rule them all? This logic makes no sense to me or to 99% of the people playing this game. So ask again, Proteus, why are you so hated by your peers? During war with SWEA i was busy rl and not able to lead kd. Proteus did very good job in lead kd and win war. I was surprised he did it this good :P

Hey anri hope things are well with you, we will have to catch up later on irc. Honestly, elits better than i am..i hve been very impressed with his play since getting here. I only had a few interactions with his kingdoms earlier and none of them went to war so it was hard to make up a decisive opinion. One thing is for sure is that i cant play for a person thats not better than i am but have no problems doing it here.

Hey, yes, we should catch up on irc some day. Honestly, Elit is not better then you are. He screwed up two perfectly good chances of getting the crown. It was right there infront of him and he failed it because god only knows. With you there the chances of AMA crowning just increased by 90%. I have no doubt Elit is a strong leader and can micromanage a KD in every way, his obvious fail just like you and me is not handling public relations very good ;-). On top of this like i have explained he screwed up bigtime making sure his KD would not crown. Ive attempted it twice myself and screwed up in one way or another, i can see the failure, Elit cant see his own failures, this makes him weak and incredible stupid. I hope that you Proteus steer him in the right direction to crown this age. No need to flatter Elit ego more then you all ready did. There is more to utopia then managing a KD, gotta stay true to your allies and friends as well, no matter what happens. A person that sells allies out and such is not really a good leader. With the history you and me have Proteus we both know we are not throwing each other under the bus like that. I hope you can learn Elit a thing or two and then just maybe he can become one of the best in late utopia.

Some things you can never say to much. Just look at recent ages how many times ppl come back to talk about events that happend. This **** is fresh still fresh and lets keep it going at least til 50 pages been made. Ohh, the irony...

LOL. You want to maximize growth by hitting into a war that you were too scared to fight while being 15% larger? I thought we were just a dealbreaking ghetto? Wouldn't the best way to get acres be like..you know.. IN WAR (especially vs a noob kd like ours)? Mansoor was scared to wave us, plain and simple. He saw 25 stars on vs rage/hoh and pussed out. I even saw him say that.
