Proteus, flogger only goes MIA after losing wars(such as to you or spgc). Although that age he was pretty inactive leading up to the war. Think he was busy with work or sometin. Of all the people i've seen in this game Flogger is by far the most hard core active player when active(especially in war) and the most hardcore inactive person when he decides to be so. A man of extremes!
I wanted to be among one of the first to extend my congratulations to CR for a well fought war and the win. But it seems like they could do without it, since their egos are already seemingly off the charts. First from being able to put themselves in a position to (1) force us to give 50k acres for a CF with 10 days left in the age, and then (2) now being able to win from their so-called 17 v 25, and (3) having massive troops released due to Bishop taking action on 5 of their provinces.
(1) issue was my fault and I take blame for my KD's poor prep and putting faith in the wrong people for the wrong provinces, but I do not for one bit regret giving CR extended CF for a so-called fair war. With regards to the gold robbed from Pew, I want to clarify things. CF between Pew and us was broken way before robbing started. I cancelled it out of goodwill about 1 week - 10 days prior to conflict with CR because Pew farmed Legacy big time and grew like 60k acres in 3 days. A lot of their nubs were starving and farms weren't in. Being in the same channel with their nubs, I offered to break the CF for them to rob my food because I was already on zero thieves and had food. Because that's what good allies do. Or should Pew receive QQ cos they received outside food from us?
CF was never reinstated with them, because there was no pressing need to; every 25 members of each kd knew who the other 25 was and relations between both kds were very very tight, but certainly the intention was not to rob each other later on. Fast forward, 3 days into the extended CF I gave CR, I did realise my nubs have prepped badly and we'd be short on gold. Pew's leadership, being in my private channel and having access to my bot, saw the same problem. It was a joint decision made by me and Pew's leadership (and no, cJ is not involved. He was indeed on sitting because he needed to clear assignments to be able to participate in the war) to have them give us some gold to help our cause. Regarding the sum robbed, it was under 100 million, closer to 90 million. And not millions of gold as CR loves to state (exaggeration #1).
And this is ridiculous when Anri thinks just because this happened, they lost to us under the same circumstances (stealing from allies to beat them). Anri, I know you think you're good, that we have to use external help to beat you, but I'm sorry to have to burst your bubble. We've beaten you fair and square, 2 times in a row now. I saw/heard you laughing at us in #tactics when we doubled an orc pre-BB war in our prep against BB, and you laughed at us trying to copy AMA for what they did 2 ages ago. Guess what, it worked, we beat BB and I'm proud we did that. I dont see flogger QQ-ing and thinking its likely we also robbed Pew to beat them here? Instead, we received sincere congratulations. Because that's what gracious winners/losers do (sorry flogger my vocab is limited and I cant think of a better substitute for "loser". I'm a loser now too! :P). 3 days later, you did exactly what you laughed so hard at on #tactics just 3 days ago. Double 1 undead 1 orc to fight us. I'm sorry, but that didnt work and they became food. All this QQ coming from you just makes you look bad, really bad.
(2), back on track to CR, I dont want to go into whatever details and the QQ that has gone on the last 28 pages, whether what you did was legit/fair. Fact is, cJ sent in a mail to support to ask if it's fair, as did many other kds to report kds which used similar tactics to gain extra resources. It was up to Bishop to assess the fairness of your "strategy" and whether or not to act on it. He thought it wasn't fair and acted on it. To go as far as suggesting we licked Bishop's boots for him to rule things my KD's way, calling Bishop names and saying he's lost it as a game moderator just shows how much class you guys have there.
As far as I'm (or PyroManiaCs is) concerned, if Bishop deemed it was unfair advantage, that unfair advantage was already present for 24 hours and it made all the difference. First from them having that level of military to wave us 7 hours OOP, 2nd from us having to wave down 3 near UB provinces (who would be UB given another 12h of train time had we not chosen to take them down in the first wave) who received the unfair aid in the first wave in war, 3rd from your counter-wave, and 4th, still having the troops right till they were released by Bishop towards the tail-end of our 2nd unique in war. What the release did was to make their first chained 3 provinces in the first unique more susceptible to multi taps in our 2nd unique, and made it easier for us to hit down 1 more province; the one last halfling WH had already retrained much more to break free from our core so that he was already marginal UB (UB to most in our KD except a few) and really OOR of any profitable taps and we couldnt waste hits OOR bringing him down with the war being tight at that point. Then again, like I said, this happened at our tail-end of our 2nd unique, where 75% of our KD has already sent out troops against your provinces pre-Bishopped (can I verb this? lol). So keep thinking it's 17 v 25 war if that's what rocks your boat (exaggeration #2?).
And (3), regarding the number of troops released, who's lying here then? CR members are saying Bishop released much more than what Bishop said he did. We on the other hand, didn't really care, and we didn't track. All we knew was that we were curious as to the fairness of their strategy, we sent in an email, and based on the numbers on CR's provinces and Support's reply to CJ's email, we knew Bishop took action. And we just went on with the war with no QQ. Is Bishop a more likely liar than CR members, or is it more likely the other way round? I leave that to all to judge for themselves. (exaggeration #3? or lie #1 from Bishop?)
Zauper, I cannot at any instance recall for once that we said we were going to farm out to Pewpew. Did you hear it from me? I know CJ was trolling you guys very very close to EOA where it was impossible for you to lose the crown by then (like just hours before EOA). Pew had no war heroes and hitting us wouldnt get the land in on time before EOA. What you probably heard was Ryan trolling you saying we owe them land. If you get trolled by someone and you choose to believe it, it's now our fault that we didnt pacify you and give you reassurance of your concerns? Lastly, I leave all interested readers some food for thought. CR resetted 2 provinces again in war, after being robbed/NSed/chained by us down to 200 acres, before war ended. Now they sit at >600 acres. So they reset for more resources again in war (for more land, more gold, more soldiers?) after explicitly being told resetting in war for more resources was what forced Bishop's hand in actioning them? War is still ongoing right? How can you reset before war is over?

Havoc gonna Havoc. I think they thought when bishop gave the provinces a punishment, that he didn't really mean for them to deal with the punishment, or something.
We got approval from Bishop to reset the provs before hand. Also, you don't get more resources by aiding out your resources...you just get them in different places. Best case scenario for this war would have been if we hadn't reset anyone and just had the initial solds on 25 provs. Second best case scenario would have been you guys surrendering before we came oop instead of right after shredding 2 provs so that we wouldn't need to spend our 40 credits. Finally, they ended 600 acres because you guys lost a war inwhich you were fighting 25v23 and where 6 more provs had a massive amount of their troops deleted. Unless you're claiming that warring Pyro is mechanic abuse I'm not sure what you're issue would be with receiving WW.
edit: also, your ub's were broken by ud that never recieved aid. The provs that were initially ub against you were also provs that never recieved aid. Nesta, stop trying to find excuses for your losses(We only robbed 90 million gc not hundreds of million!) and start actually looking at what you do strategically. Unfortuantely it was just bad luck that you chose a setup that demands luck in not getting waved early and got placed 6 hours from us when we just wanted a warring age anywase.

I believe what Nesta meant to say was that those 2 provinces came out with huge gc (about 1.6mil and 1.8mil), and that CR intra kd stole some gc before resetting them again. Again, it's not up to us but the devs to decide if its legit.
CR warred very well, and would own in both activity and strat against most kingdoms on the server. I am pretty convinced of that. This CR was on 10x the level of the CR we beat 2-3 ages ago. However, I dont think a skilled kingdom like CR should have some of their core members going around bashing others with inflated egos and all, and hence present themselves the way they did in front of the community.
We knew it would be a tough war against the feeding plan of CR, maybe we were too naive or too ambitious, but the least we know is that we wont lose any land in war (we took +1.85k in war). As summed up by Nesta13,

Once again, congratulations to CR for the victory. It was well won despite having some circumstances turn against you. Level of activity and strategy wise was close to perfect. Pyros will reflect on the mistakes we made and strive to war better in future

Are you serious!? You guys stole 98%+ of the gc on those provs before we were able to start FGing it because Bishop told us the wrong date they were coming OOP (might be the same bug as the OOP bug where we came out 1 hour early). You guys somehow knew exactly when they were coming out. Is your beef more about kingdoms gaining an unfair advantage or just whatever it takes to try to get us actioned again? Because at this point, you're sounding like a complete baby and need to move on.Quote:

Bishop approved of anything we did since entering war. Protection is bugged this age and the 2 provs left prot 1 tick early so you guys robbed basically all the gc(our main t/m's was drinking tea.....he's old) We robbed about 25k gc from those 2 provs. However, we robbed/FG'd about 1.2 million of the 3.6 million you robbed.
Steals 3.6 mil, cries about 25k. This kid is seriously beyond hope. *shakes head*
Havoc players sure like to talk up how amazing the strategy is of clicking to train free specialist credits in a certain non-ideal ratio that only works if you want to suicide yourself 3 hours into the game, i.e. make defense and thieves.
Not everyone is looking at every 25 person kingdom on the server then using an ex-kingdommate to message them all.
