I am not seeing the issue with bottom feeding, still. What you want is to approve each hit on your province, basically, so that you are in a favourable position to retaliate. But you already are, by default. Though I suppose in the context of honor it is more difficult, but there is always next age...

If bottom-feeding is shunned upon, then what can bigger kds do to prevent being hit and not being able to retal back?

If big kd can hit back (and harder) and you can't hit smaller kd, who do you hit?

Which is why everyone has to be able to hit everyone and people need to accept that this is a cruel game and give up all the boo hoo crap

Always assume that getting bottom-fed is the norm.

I'm going to keep advising people, who ask me what they should do when they are getting bullied by kingdoms much larger than their self, to demand reasonable compensation from said bully, keep retaliating as long as its within their means, and if things get bad enough, raze into wars. I see a lot of QQ in here about how large kingdoms should be able to bottom feed / bully; and I'm not buying it.

edit: what I mean is, sure you can bottom feed, I'm not wanting to change this on the mechanics level. But I like that you can have your wars razed into, and I see this as a valid counter measure to unreasonable bullying. We need tools to empower small kingdoms to fight in a manner that makes bullying undesirable.

I think the problem is proportions, genneraly I don't think anything less than waving for several days against a much smaller kingdom should make the list of reasons to threten to raze into wars.

By the way that guys science is his signature, comes in handy when discussing and explaining the new science system which is more interesting than this type of discussion because people want to deepen their understanding, not just to trolling and trowing mud, I've seen several suggesting that I'm just pro bottomfeeding because I genuinely belive that it is a low move to hit into other peoples wars for whatever petty disputes arises over randoms.

I have a confession to make

I've taken 20-30 scientists year 3-5 mostly with randoms but also retals at a time where I was arround 600 acres and my kd was ranked approximately 120
I've taken land from others when I was asked to grow because I never explore or paradise, (quite fanatically about my 0 explore stat maintained for atleast 5 maybe as much as 7 ages straigth) the rest of the kd don't random much actually as we are a warring kd.
The rest of my scientists (except 1 abduct for crime professors) was gained via retals, 3 came from BeastBlood.
I rarely or never hit kds outside 90-110% of my kds nw, and go for attackers most of the time, sometimes my targets can dubble hit me back, but I can turn it to my advantage most of the time even if they do.

Now for the confession I've recently become a youtube subscriber of Mathew Santoro, and I sometime plays as a female human rogue in WOW. His noodely appendage the flying sphagetti monster still says we are cool thougth

So because you call your desired form of bullying and bottom feeding "petty" and just a "simple random" its totally okay, the game should empower you to do it, with immunity?

well you are either not getting it or intentionally trolling, so it is not worth my time to discuss with people like you who tries to twist everything because they can't win an argument wile discussing the topic but has to attack the person that are trying to discuss the topic without dooing that.

So you never random? well good for you, then you either play t/m or don't like taking risks, I play the game how I want it too and I like challenges and to take risks outside wars too, I don't pick on much weaker opponents or attack the same kingdom over and over without reason. I also don't attack into other peoples wars, that is what I define as bullying and I keep my game clean in that regard.

You said you like to take risks, well one of the risks with bullying is getting your wars razed into... just part of the game... enjoy your risks.
