Why is the entire Simians kd hitting Csarmi? 30 pages of diplomacy just gone down to the drain? A legit player's entire age has been ruin. If there is any form of honor left in Utopia's alliances, I hope someone would raze the the sh*t out the Simians to send a clear message, scum b*g Simians cannot do whatever they like and walk the server unanswered. Is time to put an end to all their BS, you'll never know when you might be their next victim.
This is funny, you taking risk for being on top of ranking, since when utopia become the game of kids?
Smallfish, the game is dying. For instance 4 of the top 10 kingdoms are absalom Mercy, Rage, Sanctuary, Hall of Absalom(they are practically absalom). All of those are in the top 6 last i looked. In order to compete people need CF's other wise these kingdoms will just explore as they do anyways, and win the pretty pointless crown. Game is dead when the top kingdoms wont even fight each other.
The only crown achieveable by some of the higher tier ghetto's like ****mians is the prov land crown, honor, or War Win. Since honor and War Win crown are not reconized as a legit crown, they got some provs high in land. The did a nice job raising thier banks this age, after a terrible start. They relieze the only way they are going to win the crown is hit into a war and stop another persons growth.
Hitting into war is looked down upon as it is unfair to one or both sides of the war. The side who gets hit because it causes damage, and you cant deal with it. The other side as you win, but would you have won otherwise... Well you will never know.
****mians is just in a depressed state at this point. They have got 50 ages and achieved nothing. Here they are trying so ever hard to achieve something. Good luck you guys, i personally hope abs beats you into the ground. Since they are focused on exploring/dicing I doubt it will happen.

Absalom is not killing the game. An eroding player base is. People with experience in the top are leaving, but ghetto players aren't. These means that as top kingdoms ravage the ghettos for talent the ghettos simply get worse, and while the level of quality in top kingdoms decreases at leas their leaderships and cores remain relatively consistent. This just increases the disparity in skill between these levels of play.
I'm really not sure where you get this. The reason the top 4 kingdoms are in the top 4 is that they have crushed in war all kingdoms below them that they've faced. Rage beat psych ward and crushed bio; mercy crushed psych ward and crushed inzzo in a hostile; and sanc has beaten a number of kingdoms that were at that time in the top 10. Pulse beat both sanc and mercy to stay where they are - if anything it was they who were hampered by too many ceasefires.Quote:

Thats exactly what i mean Jdorge. Never said they cant war, just that they wont ever war each other. It hurts the top as it creates a lack of competition at the top. As you agree there is a lack of. I am not a part of the top, and will never be as i have to much going on the be that active. However I can see that 4 of 10 kingdoms who wont ever hit each other creates a lack of interesting wars. How coold would a Rage vs Sanct fight be? It will never happen, but the two best kingdoms should be able to war one another.
He just gave you a list of top kds who warred each other, and more to come.... The issue is not 3 or 4 top kds being allied, the issue is there needs to be more top kds. Just look at the acre gaps moving down the charts, even if every kingdom was independent, the same problem would remain. Sanc couldn't war Rage due to the acre gap, but if there were more top kds up there, Sanc would have more opportunities to make up that ground.

The top are there because they earned it. It's really not more complicated than that...
Dharan who wants to get into the top to be pushed around by an alliance that hols the top? There is no motivation as any abs kingdom can choose who wins. Rage could of beat bio down at the end and let sanct win age 53. It is a severe turn off to even try for kingdoms of the right activity skill level to try.
How are you getting pushed around? Nothing stopping you warring them.

IMO mechanics should be put into place to prevent land dropping and it should be made easier to stay "war ready" when growing. I recommend making WPA easier to pump so you can come oow war ready. I also think that allowing kingdoms to choose only honor or only land is foolish and you should automatically get a portion of land and honor to prevent kingdoms intentionally staying small.
Age after age with almost no attempt at growth it seems I end up quite large just by exploring smaller provinces rather then razing larger ones... I don't see why other kingdoms can't follow suit and make the top 50 more warring...
Just my opinion on dynamics of the mid tier kds tho :)

They could be at any point. they have 4 kingdoms ready to smack them if they felt the whim to do so. Not that pulse is bad, I think they are awesome. Fighting fair wars is getting pushed around? At various points, you've had BIO, Old School, Pulse, Psych Ward, Jerks and Inzzolence at or near the top. The reason you see the top 4 the way they are now is because they've won their fights. This isn't an age where you can win and run. Agreed goodz if you use force a kd that goes 5/5 to be about 150k acres right now by giving massive acres on wins (as well as honor) you might have a more fun "top". But as wizard pumping is already kinda hard if you force growth of say 25% land per win (via acre gain/bonus) your going to make it nearly imposible to wizard pump even for mystics unless end of war cf has double wizard production.Quote:

Simians was tagged hostile for a LONG time even when not actively fighting. They got called on it but claimed its just been a bunch of hostiles. Eventually it was noted their last "hostile" was against a kd already in war. That kd had a large bank who simians hit into the war and razed. Supposedly this was a regular thing; however I didn't get the CE myself. Losing 20% of your land along with 20% of your honor actually can be a good tradeoff if you care only about honor, as in war you will typically trad march for 10-12% acres and 20% honor gains.

The top honor kingdom likely has allies anon-attacking them to facilitate land-drops. (meh didn't read edit, i guess people really are that stupid)
Also people need to learn to war without having perfectly pumped provinces, or be willing to spend the time to get to that perfect pump state. It's pretty much a waste of time to pump unless you're near the top and can arrange cfs, and if you don't get to run fireballs or LL with little effort, tough noogies. All the proposed wizzie pump changes do is favor kingdoms at the top and secure their magic superiority even more than they get from having free reign to pump.
Why people think they should have an automatic win button, I don't know. I know if I got land and honor from war wins, I'd have better science and wpa overall. If I wanted to be lame and arrange a land-drop so I can succeed spells better, I could, but I'd be wasting a lot of potential, mostly so I can sucker a ghetto into warring. Waste of effort.
