the only point worth making is that rage was sitting pretty in dice build with comfortable ~10% land lead ahead of no2. As a result of this conflict they lost a lot of dicing/pumping and situation is reversed now, they are no2 and ~10% behind no1 with no3 right behind them. Their situation is much worse than it was in respect to crowning and any plans they had about launching a bank will likely have to be revised due to hit their pool took from this conflict. I think we're mistaking Rage with Abs. It's Abs claiming victory anytime they wd with acre gain. Rage/Proteus may actually be sincere about this win.

OK, lets say orcs don't dice as bad as humans and you guys dice 3k on a bad day. That is 2 days war, 4 days postwar and lets say 2 days for strat conversion. Total of 8 days x 3k = 24k. Add 4k of lost acres (you didn't add +5a daychange bonus so numbers are a bit different) and you get 28k acres lost so far on rage :)
Who profits here is clearly us and Fury, but we're going to war as well so it's not that bad for Rage afterall. I still wait for round 2, wondering what you guys learned from the war that had just ended.

EDIT: they did take like 5k acres from the BIO pool, reducing the lost dice/explore acres to only 23-24k

I don't know what anyone learned MA. There is no lesson. Avians will always be able to withdraw at around mintime with some modest to decent gains. It would take a really good strategy to prevent them from doing so combined with total ineptitude on the part of the avians. So I guess the best we can say is that BiO is not totally inept? Also, I don't think the math works for Rage getting 5k pool from BiO, there wasn't that much acres exchanged. And finally, if you look at it the way you are saying, then both kd's lose ground compared to if they had just not fought and kept hitting dice.
I think Rage deserves more praise for giving BiO the war. It was obvious to anyone who understands the races that the likely outcome was BiO doing a hit and run and Rage losing acres at mintime. That's what happened. That was easily predictable. So why did Rage do the war then? I guess they wanted the war win? Or maybe they thought since Baka has been so irrationally weird obsessed with them for a few ages that maybe BiO would long war them? I dunno really. I just find it funny so many people want to congratulate BiO for doing the most obvious thing as if they had achieved some greatness or something. It was pedestrian at best.
Good play on their part would have been to make a strategy to stay in war long term and actually /farm/ Rage out. That would have been newsworthy and bragworthy. Mintime hit and run by Avian is neither newsworthy, surprising or in the least bit bragworthy.

Well bio lost only ~10k that way? maybe less. But yes, I mentioned it in 2nd paragraph.

From what I have heard, not really. Rage armies were very split, people not hitting despite being online and getting hit with troops home etc etc. If rage played their role properly, they would have gotten one more wave in and end up positive, including pool gains. BIO played their part so much better, considering Rage had declaration advantage.

Yes but I mean, they could have done some other thing rather than just be available to wave for BiO. I do not know about Rage mistakes or not. The papers which were pastebinned looked like I would expect. Avians got an extra wave of hits, and ended up ahead by actually less than the acres of that last wave by a bit, so it seems like it really was just the race bonus at play.Quote:

Ofc you need to have in mind that orc bonus gets in play the longer the war takes, simply cos there is less GS in the game. BIO wd was properly timed, esp as apparently baka is aiming for a round two, which means they get 3-4 days to rebuild GS and go all over again.
I think its cute how a disputed outcome as this can lead people to say Rage is bad etc. So I guess when you get a WW but avians withdraw min time with few acres from your actual provinces and pool gains (which is due to a built in race bonus) the kingdoms reputation is trashed all of the sudden.
So I guess all of the previous crowns, achievements, etc of this kingdom are now worthless because someone was able to WD min time +gains? You people seriously suffer from perception biases. That is the only thing that can explain such behavior.
If you really believe a kingdom who has no crowns and WDs +acres is much better than Rage you are free to think that but please get evidence. I hardly think 1 war in which you wd +gains outweighs AGES of achievement.
Anyways I'm done posting here because people refuse to be objective. When you do stuff such as ignore simple math which can be used to analyze kd pages before-after war or even examining papers and come up with bogus numbers and then say how someones age is now over, etc..there is no worth to argue-you are going to believe you are right no matter what actually happens.
It's funny how BIO says they are coming back in 4 days...guess what - NO ONE CARES. Its not like we were going to cf them and let them dice pump while everyone is in war. And if we wanted to dice so much we would have accepted a cf extension they proposed to us Y1.
Please stop pretending you know whats going on in a kingdom if you don't actually play there.
