We need to know end of the age from the beginning. So all can make their plans. Atm most kingdoms become inactive after 3rd month because they know that age will end soon. It seems this age will be min 4 months so most will have 1 boring month. and not sure how many people will leave during that boring month.
Why not keep on doing what you doing. The age wont end in a blink of an eye, it will be announced at least a week ahead. So what are you scared of?Quote:

If you were in the bottom 10% of Battlefields the age before, you would be demoted to WoL. Remember that there was no legal trading or inviting back then. Only kingdoms with 7 or more players choosing to not stay in the kingdom would stay on WoL with any kingdoms having more than 18 remaining provinces being promoted to battlefields. The only good kingdoms who played there did so by exploiting the system and scripting in a bunch of provinces age start to fill their kingdom back up with their traded provinces. They'd then compete against kingdoms that were demoted after being on the bottom 10% of the competitive server or had half a kingdom of active players.
Brute Force was a good kingdom and could compete on Battlefields, but they were formed as a group of players who were also playing on battlefields that just wanted to smash noobs on the "kiddie" server. Same for Dropbearz (who were definitely not Pansies). Playing on both servers was explicitly against the rules back then but not that well enforced. It's like if a bunch of major league baseball players decided to join a recreational softball league against a bunch of average guys there mostly to drink beer. Would you count a victory in a recreational softball league in the same category as winning the World Series?
I also suspect there may be more errors in the counts but it's a pretty decent compilation anyway.
I am willing to take a non popular stance here. Because there were more than one kingdom scripting into WoL back then, it was at least as competitive if not more competitive than the current state of the game. So if we consider the current ages chart leaders as World Series Championships we should consider those back then as well. And furthermore, Honor and (LOL) War wins chart wins today count towards ANYTHING?Quote:

Also was there always really more than one scripted kingdom on the casual server? The #2 kingdom on Brute Force's triple crown age is "EVIL CINEMA AR" who finished in 2nd place in both land and honor to Brute Force. I have no recollection of that kingdom and have never seen them on anyone's list of any "good" kingdom. They finished 7k acres and 9k honor below Brute in Brute's "magical" ghetto server age.
It is my recollection that there were more than 1 each age doing it, but that could be wrong. I think an argument could be made that genesis was more competitive than the current state of the game, no? Perhaps we should draw a line in the record books kind of like baseball did (back to Zaup's reference :) with pre and post steroid era. I wouldn't know when that would be ofc, but should this age's honor crown be worth as much as a PB land crown? Was Expendables 0 fights (Unless you count the trick war to start the age when they were rofl fsu fighting a ghetto 8 v 20) equal to pansies? Are cJ and sillies equal to EVIL CINEMA AR? Brute was a collection of players who also played in good battlefields kingdoms as their "real" kingdoms. It wasn't supposed to be a real competitive kingdom, it was just to bash noobs for fun. Eventually they became a real kingdom with most of their players no longer playing in other BF kingdoms and they moved to Battlefields.
Other kingdoms followed in their footsteps after since it looked like fun so in the following ages there was typically 2-3 or so kingdoms that were competitive and could have been top 20 on Battlefields. The #5 WoL kingdom was generally pretty comparable to an average bottom half Battlefields kingdom.
