See this is where you lost me bud. Why are you interferring with top play/top hostiles/top gb issues? Why dont you let them sort of their own shizzle and keep focus on what you are doing yourself? Why do you even feel like you are supposed to contribute anything to this? You dont play in any of the KDs, nor do you play in KDs close to the top - so interferring like that is lame (imo) - dude srsly, stop thinking you got any right to play a part in this, and let the big dogs play their own game. Its fun enough to watch as is it, and having smaller kds interfere cuz they feel they should get a say in what goes on in the top, will just be lameness galore. Its fine that you "pick your side" and post in forums, but having your kd hit into top kds fighting it out (well knowing they dont have time to retal you as they are engaged with kds their own size) is beyond me, srsly.

Must be karma since we took a total of 35k acres from them last age. I think they double up on that. They have no worries. They will beat abs and all others in fine style this age. Its a shame for Proteus. They did execute it all very well and wanted to crown. But maybe HoH deserves it the most after all. Considering all factors. Its an amazing 180 like you say Baka. To beat HoH you need sick warscience and u need to keep them in hostile for like a week before moving in on them. This is a sick farmout. Maybe we should have lead the KD and done some kind of damage control but it feels rather pointless when we want HoH to win the age. I doubt any setup could beat them even in 100% organization. Maybe if they were to be hostiled for 7 days before war else they should be OP and unbeatable this age. It really feels as if HoH more then deserves this. Some age they farm out, the next they win and farm everything. Its funny how things are. I have no doubt in my mind that another age Simians will farm them again. Not this massively, lol. But its just the way things goes. So GG to HaLL of absalom for one amazing age and farmfest. And GG to Dorje for ****ing both Rage and Sanc in one single move.

I think Sanctuary is not wrong or double hostile in this situation.

- Simian notice Sanc and didn't work to get another CF before fighting HoH
- Sanc started dragon and send a hit into Simian..obviously a hostile act and Simian needs to do diplomacy before engaging HOH (However they do nothing and expect Sanc to back off if Simian decided to run away and war HoH)
- Obviously Sanc is not dumb to full wave into a fortifed kingdom..so it makes perfect sense for them to full wave when SIMs out of fort
- on other hand..SIMS waved HoH fortied to run from Sanc and gave button lol. Of course they waved fortified on purpose unless they are really stupid.
- Now SIMS is out of fortified...Sanc full waved them because HoH hasn't act yet. SIMS has the button and can fight back to press it. NOP they dont want to..they want HoH to press it.
Sims is in a big mess and decided to whine in the forum

LCP you dont know what you are talking about. Sanc and Simians talked plenty of times under those 49h.

IMO a double hostile is ALWAYS wrong unless you have some big beef. Sanctuary had nothing with us up til then. They created a beef. I told them how we would treat them if they double hostiled us, wich they did. There is nothing that constitutes the right to double hostile another KD. NOTHING! People can try to justify it in many ways. Absalom powerplayed us in a smart way. They however did not think of what longterm effect it would have or what effect it would have on the outcome of this age nor upcoming ages.
I will send Sanc a dragon before they are going for a top fight, hopefully after they invested 50 mill gc into a dragon on another KD. If they do not proceed with the fight i will fight them in hostile. Next time they try to get into a top fight again i will steal their gc and i will dragon them again. When they are army out i will hit them. Whatever they do they have to watch over their back. They can forget about pumping as much as even one time next age. And they can be damn sure we will find them start of the age all ready to **** them. So they better come out swinging with us. We play next age to revenge Sanctuary, that is our only goal for the age. Sanctuary should prepare for the rumble.
Simians been #1 out of the blocks many ages. We will make sure to be right with them and not allow them to do anything out of worth next age. Hell i doubt we even would need to play them dirty, we can stop Sanctuarys progress without being dirty. Dorje ****ed himself for god knows what reason really.

HoH has 13 provs on over 10k acres now. That's some nice credits ;)
Those chained provinces will have more elites credits as they can use LOL
Say they finish on 2k with the median prov on 10k. That'll be 30k elite credits for a 2k acre prov! Madness!

My players do what they want in this war. No one have to follow any orders and nothing is required out of them. This is not allowed? Its summer now and i could not care less what absalom constitutes as right or wrong. The only one i feel a bit sry for is Proteus. So hands down i will apologize to him here. Dorje you can also go and do what you want. Your age is over just as Simians. All because of that move. Have ****ing fun being #3 with only allies above.

As long as you don't farm to pass us, I have no problem with it.

However, it makes you a complete hypocrite. First of all, for claiming that you are a good warring kingdom and a FSU kingdom, then doing a move so ghetto even a ghetto wouldn't do it. And secondly, for saying farming is okay when if the situation were reversed you would be crying loudly.

Dorje technically maybe you have enough semi legit reasons to hit Simians but morally its was lame. Dont you think its time people to start play more honorable and less abuse rules/situations? Cool, Simians have managed to turn themselves into the most pathetic kd on the server. Anri has always been talented at making himself look bad, but I didn't expect him to go this far. Can someone with a brain please pick up the style of play Simians were trying? I mean stirring **** up in the top without being a complete set of douche bags at the same time. It's needed, but Simians clearly can't do it, and BIO seem to have similar tendencies as well.

For what its worth, when I still played utopia he did the same thing when we warred him. He wasnt trying to push us to #1 or anything (we werent really anywhere near the range of considering that), but we were stomping them and he mysteriously "stopped playing because hes going on a trip" or something along those lines. I think it is in large part just an excuse for poor performance. Also an attempt to put down the enemy you are losing against by making the war seem invalid. Our particular war lasted 4-5 days or so, they wouldnt wd at min time even while getting killed. For the first 3-4 waves though, they were 100% active, just losing. After that, it fell to more like 50% activity.

If you believe this was his plan all along, then you are giving him entirely too much credit. I think you can just read this thread to get a pretty good idea that when he creates a plan, and it backfires, he acts like failure was his plan all along. He says stuff like "This was all a test to see how absalom would handle the 3v1, and they were as I expected, dishonorable!". Clearly, that is not true. He thought he could end cf with all 3 of you and then he would "call dibs" on which kd he would war and you wouldn't be allowed to. It backfired, and now "it was a test". And in this particular case, he thought he could chew his way through hoh, then sanc, and win the round. It didn't work. So now "We wanted to lose all along because we hate sanc". Just saying...farming out is a regular part of his playbook even before considering the charts.

I guess he thinks it allows him to save face? But I couldn't imagine being in a kingdom like that. I genuinely do give him credit for keeping the kd together all these years, even through events such as these. Not sure how he does it.

all of u outside posters sound silly cause it wasn't difficult to grab a snatch news a few days ago and count exactly what happened. Some people on this forum don't... And they just post based on instinct, hearsay, or propaganda. aint that hard to do your own research though, for those of us who arent lemmings.

Srs question though: was it worth it? Appears you won't even crown from it, and now you pissed off the monkeys, who never have crowned and probably never had a realistic chance anyways.

He has a history of being stubborn with withdraws, see sanc vs simians last age. They eventually get to the point of topfeeding heavily and to the point where they should gain more per wave just due to sheer size. The 7 day mark seems like it could end it though, but why withdraw from a fight you're already in just to eat hits from you right afterwards, mine as well have fun with the fight.

No one complained when sanc gave up so much land and chained provinces 1 by 1 just to eventually get the war win by us having no more land to take.

Our KD have a 50 ages history. We have farmed out many times but we have also farmed others.

Last age we farmed the very KD that is farming us right now. We farmed them for a total of 35k acres and then we gave them an EoA cf. I seen almost every KD on this server farm out for one or another reason. The difference here is we do not have any damage control and we have nothing to play for any longer. Coming out and hand over our banks and our top to Sanc is not an option. We will let HoH grind us til we auto WD. From that position we can **** with Sanc how much we want and they cant really do anything about it. We knew the age was over when we gave HoH the button kamikaze style. Sanc finished the age, there was no way we would be able to fight with our bank down and our top hit down and Sanc sending us dragons.

The original plan was to hit HoH to 13 points and keep HoH under hostile relations for as long as we would have wanted. Soften them up with our 4 rogues and our 17 mystics. FB them to the ground, keep them on chasity and MS and finaly take them to a min time where we would try to come out gaining acres by LL.

After this: Hopefully we would have had larger and stronger banks and overall been more ready to fight sanctuary.

The plan backfired bigtime and there was no alternatives left. We did not run at all. We could have stayed in fort stance and just retal warred Sanc but it would not have made any sense to even remotly give Sanctuary the chance of winning the age.

You try to make it seem as there is only one player in Simians. This is a KD wide decission to give HoH button and let ourselfs get farmed out. There is not a single player in Simians that really gives a ****.

People can attack HoH if they like and do what fun they want, i suggest our attackers make some learns before we auto-wd.

We are in no way inactive. If we had wanted we would have sent 4-5k sms and a few hundred phone calls by now with a real gameplan but there is no point. We would not be winning over HoH cause we needed a long hostile to have any chance what so ever. A hostile relation without interference from Sanc.

You dont get it Path. I would not let Dorje breath the same air as me even.

Failure was ofc not the plan. Winning was. But when we cant win and entire plan backfired there is nothing more to play for except making sure Dorje has no chance of winning since he ruined our plans.

We had very low odds from the start of having any chance at all vs 3 abs KDs that could powerplay us. What we asked for was that we would get a chance to fight them fairly.

Rage accepted a new deal that they fight us only if they are on a #2 position.

Sanc gave us no chance at all to war HoH on our own terms. They just had to double us.
It was obvious when they started a dragon together with Rage all ready. No matter if we had hit HoH 1 second into the tick and sent our dragon to HoH they would still have done this.
People seem to not realize that Dorje would have walked over dead bodies to get his way with Simians. Powerplay was in effect from that when notice was given. If i had not dealt them the notices they would have dropped our asses notices to hurt us in the best moment possible.

I just made sure to send them before they would send us. At the time it feelt like a good idea to have everyone train up. Best chance we had on getting #1. It was a chance but i also knew that abs had to double hostile us to stop our plans. Wich they did.

Powerplay was in effect and it started with both Rage and Sanc starting dragons on us at the same time before notice was up. There was nothing honorable about it and absalom never intended to let us get away with forcing them to train up.

They would have hit us even if we had sent 1 attack on HoH out.

Jesus people should grow a brain. It is that easy for everyone. The first that sends a hit out got the dibbs? LoL, we could have sent dragon or made a hit 1 sec into that tick. Then what? Its not like Sanc gave a ****. They sent their dragon very quick. Knowing we had invested our dragon into HoH.

Dont come and tell me Sanc would not have sent it if we had sent our quicker. Dont come and tell me Sanc wouuld not have hit our bank if we had attacked HoH one time first.

And Path, my mom and dad lives in crete. I leave for a for weeks each summer. This time i will be leaving for 16 days. I will be back 10th of august. By that time the rest of my council will setup the KD and do all the work needed for us.

I just dont happen to go on vacation. I have a life and its summer.

No one has the right to call dibbs on anyone. Sanctuary certainly did not have the right to dibbs us just as we did not have the right to dibbs HoH.

All i know is that when we had given HoH the button everything was for real. There was no dibbs game any longer. Because per game mechanics we gave them the option to declare.

What Sanc did after that was pure greed. They saw our bank and they saw our acres. They saw their chance. It backfired for Simians and it certainly backfired for Sanc. The only winners here is HoH.

Thanks for admitting the first part. It seemed obvious to most people but it's refreshing to see honesty on the forums instead of spin.

As for the second part, I think Sanc hit your bank before you sent any hits right? Maybe you could post a paper from the day this all went down so everyone can see precisely in which order things went? Just be sure to edit out locs and of course make sure you don't "accidentally" move something to the wrong order since other kds I am sure also have copies.

I have nothing against Rage and they did nothing really bad against us. They did some good diplomatics and always shown us a honorable play. I would once again like to apologize to them cause of this. But it cant be helped when Sanc did what they did.

My understanding of the order of events:

1: Sanc sends dragon
2: Sanc makes bank hit
3: Sanc sends Anri/Simians message saying "We will wave when you drop fort"
4: Simians drops fort and makes 7 hits against hoh
5: Sanc's 2nd hit comes in (prior to button being given to hoh)
6: Sanc continues waving and at some point after Sanc's 2nd hit, Simians gives the button to HoH
7: Sanc finishes their wave against Simians, at this point HoH has not retaliated (and so by some definitions, including the one Prot used against me some ages ago, it wasn't a real hostile yet.)
8: HoH presses button and war commences
9: Simians decides to roll over and farm out to spite Sanc (and also harms Rage as collateral damage)

Is this accurate for order of events? Personally, I view a hostile as being opened when one side has clearly committed to the fight and clearly communicated to the other side that they are committed. The other party at that point has three choices generally: try to do some diplomacy to avoid the fight, engage in the fight, or eat the wave for a CF. This situation was simply compounded because you chose a 4th option which was to open a second hostile with a third party after you knew for sure that Sanc was opening a hostile with you. You can argue semantics all day long, but Sanc clearly demonstrated hostile intent by word and by deed. Saying they didn't hostile you because you didn't have a button yet is just trying to 'lawyer' what a hostile is, and I think all of us can agree that everyone has had enough of the whole "lawyer" thing with hostiles. Common sense should suffice to demonstrate when a kd is hostile to you, and Sanc had clearly demonstrated hostility.

That said, the only rules we have in this game concerning hostiles and fighting 1v1 are what we all agree upon. It is your right to say that you did not consider Sanc to have demonstrated hostility toward you. Just the same, they did tell you what they were going to do and you did choose to try and open a different hostile up to avoid that. All of that is really kind of down to viewpoint and really nobody can make a final "call" on it. Most of the forum community seems to think that Sanc had clearly shown hostile intent and that you were trying to run from them, and you have admitted that you intentionally farmed out to hoh to spite abs. That's all your choice, and really I have no comment other than to thank you for being honest about what you did, and to express my regret that you did so. A hard fought war would have been more entertaining and would have given HoH a chance at what they want most, which is respect. People often call them farms and say they hide behind abs, and they would have liked a real fight that was hard fought so if they won and won the age, they would earn respect. Now everyone will just go to your post where you said you farmed out on purpose and hoh will not get the respect they were after.

The only other comment I have, Anri, is just a bit of advice from one old friend to another. Don't speculate on what "would" have happened. None of us can know what would have happened if different moves had been made and things had played out differently. I suggested earlier that you could have sent notice to hoh and not to Sanc and Rage to buy yourself at least an hour if not many hours to initiate hostility with hoh before either Sanc or Rage could step in. If you had noticed hoh first and waited to see if sanc or rage noticed, you would have had time to set up the long hostile you wanted. It's even possible that neither sanc or rage would have even given you notice at all. We just can't know, because you gave notice to everyone at the same time. Speculation serves no purpose. You speculate that Sanctuary would have hit you no matter what, and you are therefore angry with them ... but what if you had given notice to only hoh and Sanc had not given you notice and you ended up with a 1v1 fight with hoh? That's just as much a possibility as what you claim "would have happened".

It's not worth being angry about something that "would have happened" because we simply can't know how things would have gone differently. I'm sad to see a fun age end this way, and would have enjoyed a hard fought war from both sides a whole lot more than what happened instead.

When I was 11, I was crossing the street after getting off a bus on the way to school and was hit by a car. As a result I've been confined to a wheelchair for the decades since. If only I had waved the bus to go before I walked across the street, or if only the person who hit me had been a minute earlier leaving for work that day, I could have lived my life without being crippled. Of course, maybe I would have ended up in the US Military and gotten killed in Iraq or Afghanistan and wouldn't even be alive right now. I simply cannot know how my life would have gone if events were different by a few seconds and I hadn't been crippled for life. But it is folly for me to think that things would automatically be better. For all I know, I would have died a week later if I hadn't been in a hospital bed recovering from my brush with death. Or maybe I would be perfectly fine and still alive and in perfect health. I don't know what might have been, but I know what is. I'm alive and that is better than not, so I've learned not to dwell too much upon "what if". Have fun on your vacation and don't let the "what if"s bother you Anri. It's a game, and games are supposed to be fun. Have a great visit with your family and see you next age mate.
