You can mix attacks as avian core to reap quality acres. I know some guy will say top wars blah, blah, blah, but I used my imagination with avians and it worked because the other guy is chasing and always slower.

Halfers have rather successfully Arsoned WT / propped / NS'ed one cow so he is somewhat crippled. Hostile raze + prop wizzards have given us WPA that they have a hard time ET'ing so it's going ok on that front.
COWs - their 4x have 950k units while our 3x hitters have 700k units but with halfers+faery+elves 'supports' that makes it less straight forward. The halfers alone have 200k units. So strictly speaking, it's a gap that is closing, but still very much to their advantage. CS+WT make the cows very slow to take down, and their high WPA make MS hard.
On the lower end we have their faeries that sacrificed a lot def to slay the war dragon we sent in war. They have all now been massed quite a few times so that their rogues are <4rTPA and their mystic rather crippled too. They're not completely knocked out, but much less of a danger.
The reason we spent a lot of energy mass'ing their faeries was because their 3x fae/rogue were quite effective at GA:WT / AW on our elf, with a NM wave follow-up, which enabled their avians to NS our elf quite far down and so he was chained down to 1k and is now 1.5k. To prevent this happening again we put more hits into massacres, mana on ET, stealth on SW and forced them to use cows to raze 60% land off an elf, to help against WT. Our good ET/SW run made them drop the plan as they weren't able to land NMs and so NS from core would have been hard against an untouched elf TPA.
Instead it's just a huge avian hit-spree on lower core with their high off and fast armies.
Going forward it's interesting to see if our effort against their faeries will allow our elves to secure themselves, so that they can start getting involved in the top fight. Our halfers being rather secure also help out what they can but having only 3 hitters to their 4 is of course an uphill battle.
It was a big 'win' for us to prevent them taking down another elf, and without it, I would have been quite pessimistic.
Great war so far.
Globally, we're on similar peasants levels, we have an emerald dragon us and they are dragon-free.
After the latest round of hits / ops, I tallied our unit counts. CR has around 1915k units vs Sleepy 1707k units -- While this is not a huge lead, it's still remarkable considering we are tanking emerald dragon.
It's an interesting point now -- their avians are kinda max-gaining -- So the battle might be between our upper core controlling their many avians while still being able to help out the cow war. Avians without spec on low def should be possible to contain, but we will see.
