No...it's not. Who has been deleted for "excessive farming"?
What's the limit between a kd getting their asses beat in a war, and being "illegal farms"?
Why are kds allowed to coordinate hits to regulate acre disparity? Isn't that farming?

This just keeps getting better and better. We're down to banhammer swinging?
That's a silly position.
1) Someone double hostling someone and then being mad that the kingdom lost the desire to try their hardest is fairly ridiculous. If you want someone to fight their hardest vs someone else, don't hit in their hostile
2) What's the point of withdrawing and saving acres? Sanctuary will just take them once OOW, so they're either fighting and losing acres to HoH, or fighting and losing acres to Sanctuary. There's nothing wrong with choosing who you want to fight, given you'll be fighting someone regardless, and one fight is a war which is more fun than fighting in a hostile.
What's the point of withdrawing to save acres to begin with when it's 2 weeks left of the age. They aren't getting close to a crown, is top10 anything to be happy about? Learns can still gain them something useful.
See post above. A little bit of a difference between intentionally farming out to an ally, and farming out because you had banks and leaders quit after being double hostiled by enemies. I have no idea why they didn't want to withdraw at mintime, maybe they think they can get a war win ala sanc chaining 1 province at a time and HoH wanting to run with the acres. Maybe they want to have their acres restributed where hoh hits down their big provs and their small provs gain so they can war someone else afterwards.
Spending all age talking about how much other people's setups were farm setups, then being mad you couldn't risk 8 hits into fortified to lockup the farm in a war is just a miscalculation of the situation, similar to how you initially said that rage was the big winner and I immediately noticed hoh was the big winner.
If you have a kingdom you want to farm, make more than 1 hit.
This is what Dharan doesn't understand here. Simians aren't intentionally 'farming out' as in transfering as many acres to HoH as they can to give HoH the best shot, they are simply not putting as much effort as they normally would into hanging on to acres (because Sanc would vulture them oow anyway), hence Anri talking about learn attacks.
i dont care, but if we are being all righteous in top KD politics, then shouldnt we also ban TFT for staying in a war with Siminas for a long time, and continuing wars early age. what about this late age action changes that.
DHaran guy is kinda right
1. if order was allow HaLL to farm = illegal
2. if order was drop to range of others for was = fine
3. if genuinely losing = fine
that is all... really. grow up. also anri, you've turned into a bit of a nonce. you start losing then stop trying, kinda lame. faery circle will beat you lolz. chop chop suiii
He's smoking way better stuff then me for sure :D where can I get some? Sanctuary Absalom supporter maybe? Hilarious really all of your posts about this "farming"Quote:
Giving land or taking it is also irrelevant, farming and farming out would be equally against the rules, depending on the circumstances. This case would be a judgement call, and it's Bishop's, not mine. I don't think he'd do anything about it, but in my opinion this is blatant farming to damage another kingdom, which is no different to me than farming out to benefit another kingdom.
Simians doesn't want to give up, HoH doesn't want to give up we want a WW don't care of the outcome atleast me personally. This is an age of redemption for us, whether our monarch decides to WD or Anri, or we auto win is of no ones concern except the 2 kingdoms involved. I can give you an updated paper all of our news which is full of opps, some more then others if you like.
Don't try to change game rules to serve your own purposes and I find it offensive that a Mod can have this kind of power over making this determination with no facts to back it up.
Last age we "farmed" out to BiO, we literally gave them a crown why wasn't this reported????? What is the difference between the loss HoH VS BiO last age?? We sucked but so what we didn't want to roll over like Pus**s. We wanted the win last age we were pawned and because of it BiO won the crown. I played in BiO I route for them every age does that mean that I should be deleted ? Does that mean HoH should have been deleted?
Not a good can of worms to try to open I'd say. There is no black and white and EVERY situation AND war is unique. Should a ghetto never be able to war cause they cant do more then one attack a day from 8 guys out of 15??? Like where do you draw the line exactly Im curious.
The use of learn attacks in a top "war" coupled with the admission of giving away acres to prevent another kingdom from winning would be enough evidence for me to end the war at min time and delete the Simians monarch. But at the end of the day, my opinion doesn't matter, I'm simply making conversation. Everyone keeps making arguments about war tactics being optional and losing acres isn't illegal, but none of that matter when it was specifically stated the goal of the war was to lose acres (by playing weakly so it's not a fake war) on purpose to alter the charts.
Also Dharen, isn't it a bit silly to be in favor of Sanc's move of hamstringing Simians on the way into this war, but then so against the outcome of a gimped dorf/mystic vs LARGER orc/tact? What did you expect to happen here? You really think a lack of min time withdraw should result in deletions?
Also no one said the goal of the war was to lose acres. It happened to end up this way, and Simians has every reason/right not to care.
if an honor kd and a land kd somehow get to fight and the honor kd just does honor ops and hits high honor provs all war while the land kd takes a ton of acres and anons the whole time, are they both guilty of farming?
If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one there to hear it, should it be deleted?
yes.
TAKE TREES OUT THE GAME!
LOL , Its not like we not fight hoh back they are just orc with huge gains sci and 4x us when we 2x them back ofc they farm land , by that said its not a take what you want war is a legit and fun war , i get to sleep 12 h and dont need to be here 18h a day to make sure ppl hit on targets and in time , we chillax and have fun , sanc killed our chanse to win/take land of hoh in this war and the bank was inactive for 48h starving ofc it will go down , anri has not been on irc since war started and he is not leading the war so he has no controle on whats going on so Dharan you way off with that delite BS!
Once again we seem to have break down in communication. I have no issue with the war itself, or Simians getting raped, happens all the time. The only issue I have is the comment that it's happening on purpose. Without that I wouldn't have ever even brought it up. I don't understand why you people keep saying the same things over and over and ignoring what I'm commenting on.
You should read the thread then.
Did you make a statement that you were making learns so HoH could farm acres to win #1? No? Oh ok.....
Seriously guys, lol.
One comment, slightly out of context, by a guy who hasn't actually been leading the war. That's your entire argument here?
FYI I play in Simians, so I think I have an idea of wtf is going on. I'm not just making assumptions, like some.
Context is irrelevant. Whether what he said was an actual order is irrelevant. If someone says "I have 2 accounts", admin doesn't ask "oh well what's the context?". No, they take that info and look into it to see if that's what's actually happening. All I've said is that from my point of view and only based on that comment and associated actions by the kingdom, it's illegal farming.
I feel like I'm making my stance very clear here, not sure why I need to continue spelling it out. Obviously I'm not admin, so it's not like I'm starting an investigation lol.
I'm shocked at how you continue to completely miss the point, and make arguments that are entirely unrelated and useless.
It should also be on the record that most of the people in Simians who don't really care/think it's amusing that we're being farmed hard in this war are, in fact, the ones still fighting the hardest. Some (including bank) had moral broken by Sanc's dirty wave, thus we've suffered some activity issues on top of everything else. You don't like it? Tough.
And if you think someone said something that warrants investigation, bring it to Bishop. Don't call for action based on assumptions on these forums... you're a mod, have some dignity.
And I'll say again, farming isn't illegal. No one has ever been deleted for farming.
Ryan was deleted for setting up a fake war. It had nothing to do with the number of acres he could've/would've farmed. It had entirely to do with him and their biggest prov agreeing not to hit each other, i.e. a fake war.
@Dharan you need to look past what's being posted by a selfproclaimed troll and understand that Simians did not just lay down flat and let us take the acres. They were beat down due to various circumstances like kingdom setup and losing a couple of players at a crucial time. In fact the first 48 hours besides from their cow and TMs all their attackers were out pretty much all the time missing very little time with armies home.
@DHaran -- What is the exact quote that triggered you to see this as something against the rules? I'm following everything you are saying and I don't understand why people keep replying the way they are (as if they aren't comprehending you), but for me, I think maybe it would help if you quoted the exact comment that Anri (or whoever) made. I can't seem to find it.
@Anders: Long time no see <3
@DHaran: Definition/context may be irrelevant to an admin because when it comes to something being reported it must be investigated anyway. When it comes to your own opinion, it makes quite a world of difference. Also, about your learn attacks comment. In my last war, this age, we did like 40 learns in 2 waves (2 trads, 2 learns per wave). This ended up costing us about 10k acres in the war, but every single one of my players will tell you it was well worth it.
@Palem: What TheRock said is true.
@Lennox:
In context, Anri states how they planned to have a long hostile/war with HoH, but Sanc's interference killed the morale of their kingdom so in turn they ended up getting farmed by HoH. DHaran believes this means that Simians is intentionally giving HoH the acres to put them in the #1 spot so that Sanc can't crown the age. The reality is that the word "farming" is used so much now that Anri simply means that his kingdom is losing a ton of acres and is ok with that because it may allow them a better position for a better war after.
Thank you. And as I have already stated, those that are most to 'blame' for that mindset (as if it is an actionable offence...) on Simians side are the ones who are still army in-out doing what they can.
Like I said, if you think it's shady talk to Bishop. Otherwise what's your problem DHaran?
I'm dumbfounded by all of this. So let me get this straight.
Scenario 1
Kingdom A Farms out to Kingdom B but doesn't come on forums and say they're doing it.
Allowed or Disallowed?
Scenario 2
Kingdom A Farms out to Kingdom B and 1 member of the kingdom comes on the forums and says "Hey we are going to farm out to Kingdom B to troll Kingdom C".
Allowed or Disallowed?
Scenario 3
Kingdom A and Kingdom B are allies and Kingdom A farms out to Kingdom B but says it wasn't intentional farming, this was prearranged as terms and conditions to continue with an EoACF.
Allowed or Disallowed?
Is it just me or is the rule on farming out a massive grey area based entirely on opinions and trolls? This was the reason I brought up my original famous thread and ended up asking that the rules are clarified and standardized so they are black and white, and fair no matter what scenario. If you can't find a way to make a rule as mentioned, then all above scenarios should either be allowed (and change the name of Utopia to Farmtopia) or disallowed. If it is selective and up to discretion then if 1 particular scenario is allowed, but the rest are not (even though the result of all 3 scenarios is the same), then every kingdom could theoretically follow the allowed scenario and get away with it.
@ TheRock & Ezzer
Who was deleted for farming?
The funny part is that HoH is the true FSU kd... they totally trolled Rage and stole the crown.
No Charity Crowns for Rage this age!
June 3 of YR10 Alas, the once proud province of The Marijuana Farm has collapsed and lies in ruins.
I don't know what triggers that message except a province losing all peasants, unless the message from snatch news doesn't give away the cause of province death.
From what I understand a large part of it was due to him not being able to log phone (main log method) due to new chat thingy. I suppose we should get deleted for that too?
I just find it funny. When HoH first came back they got a lot of flak for playing dirty. Now Rage/Sanc have done so many shady things and HoH hasn't done stupid diplom/notice bullish everyone on the server is happy when HoH wins so they've won like 3 ages now? Although sanc and I have managed to abide by the no douche rule for a few ages now.
