no, i will speak on behalf of the devs actions. Their actions have proven that im' guilty of cheating simply because I cannot prove beyond a doubt that i'm innocent. Ignore the fact that they cannot prove that i'm guilty beyond a doubt.
That means that they think i'm a cheater, and are punishing me for it. Actions speak louder than words. Sean and Brian think i'm a cheater, and I am really pissed off about that.
Did this already die to devs and mods?
Every relevant question was answered in this thread cept the acces denied time period.
Relevant? Answered? Not really. I don't call those answers.
Because you don't agree with them?
No because they don't give any details as to HOW the EXACT mechanism will affect any one. Do you see a list posted? I'll tell you this now. There isn't one. It specifies not what the limits are. As far as one could tell, it's limitless.
I am, however, EXTREMELY opposed to the limiting factors. Too easy to cheat otherwise and it just gets blamed on this, and shoved under a rug... Like stated earlier, this is not about preventing cheaters, but money. Only conclusion I can remotely think of
That or lazy... Which is the exact, tail-tucked response that I have received.
If you mean a list with ops/attacks that are affected along with the access denied time periods it I'd agree that would be helpful.
edit since you edited
Had to look up the english word for your added part I think best describes it: defeatist/pessimist
I'm possitive the intention is indeed to fight cheating, but there's really no point in speculating over that.
Another MAJOR problem is the TIME of implementation. IE: My kingdom, and I hope you took the time to read the rest of these posts, because there are serious problems that have NOT been looked at, is in the middle of a war. Many kingdoms are currently at war. Without giving any clarification as to what exactly they were going to do with whitelisting, they slapped it upon us. *BAM* "Here you go. Deal with it. Tough if you don't like it."
Well, give us our money back that we "donated" to play this game as a team. Period.
Making changes like this between ages with a strong heads up and since the beginning of an age is one thing. Or several; intelligent marketing, managing, and good business in general. Making massive changes to the game play in the middle of the age? Horse****. "Handed three candy bars"?
Hell I bought them and they STOLE them from me. Thanks. It's like buying a brand new $1,000 TV that says Warranty on it and when it goes out, they say, "We don't care, deal with it."
Edit: And I am an optimist as well. I don't like buying into something after I gave it a second shot, literally, and then being bit in the butt because of, as you aptly put it, defeatists and pessimists lack of ability to control the situation with cheaters.
Yes I've read every post that's why I said all but one was answered. (maybe 2 if you count the sot question)
About the BAM, they say it was announced a month in advance. I have no idea whether that's true. If it is, you're running out of relevant points. If not you have a point.
Announced it a month in advance that they were making changes? They failed to mention how exactly it would change and that is still not a change at the beginning of an age regardless.
Nah the thing is,
cheater will cheat and casual honest players are punished - as always.
Most of "abuse preventing" systems make abusers life just a little bit more difficult,
only one to really struggle is honest and fair player.
This is far from an effective measure and honestly, they better give back the money to my family. Upwards of $300 spent.... Just saying. Could have cheated and created vacant seats like the old days.
That's life Ruukis.
Wich is why I can't believe people are claiming that there are things like mild forms of cheating that are supposedly generally accepted. And some even say they want to cheat because of this system. Cheating is always at the expense of those who don't. That's a bad thing but the thruth nonetheless.
ok nice job devs, Person A shares Ip with person B, Person A got SoT of target A 5 hours ago, and now Target A suicided with land defence and Person B is stopped from quint tapping that person. Plus with all the intel ops going around and ambushing I'd love to see how gameplay can be salvaged I'm all ears
In war btw.
