ASF I think deciding on Elf cows and killers might fall into that area you said about getting guidance. I don't equate competence with greatness, but that's just me. When I think of greatness I think of guys like Dirty,Elit,PhiWa, and even jdorje I don't think Proteus fits in amongst those names.
Everyone has their own list and your list above leaves out people many others would have in their T5 list. I also never claimed to be one of the best 5 leaders to ever play this game, no idea where you got that from but you'll never find such a quote from me. Being better than most and winning fights against other top leaders = / = being the best ever. You also completely glossed over what I said about the kygal situation so sounds like you are were aware but just trolling.Quote:

I thought you ran a Great War and it was a great win. I've never been one to not say so when credit is due but I still don't think your in the greatness category. There is a handful of those and then there are a bunch one the second or third tier such as yourself.
I think that top wars end far too quickly these days most are won before they even start and I'm looking forward to the outcome of this epic war. Looks like the CR and WSK guys having lots of respect for each other the Emereti guys who aren't warring... not so much :(
It's a giant dwarf concern that's driving the lyrics of the Emeriti song. If CR can reduce dwarf acres then the mellow moods will return.
I don't disagree with you. I never claimed to be in the greatness category though - I'll give you an example. If you follow tennis at all, there are very strong players that are on the top 10-20 rankings lists, some of them are all time greats (e.g. Agassi & Federer or ASF/jdorje in utopia terms) but then you always have players in T10 that aren't all time greats but very good and capable of beating anyone in the T10 any given day and have a record of doing well over a period of time (hence they're top ranked pros). I never claimed to be an Agassi or Federer but in tennis analogy would have been a well ranked player during the time I was active in the game.Quote:

I noticed a crippling of the CR cows and poor nw to match. Luckily they have a glut of million nw provinces. I'm wondering if they'll try science farming to reestablish a front to combat those dwarves? Dwarves not looking too healthy but I'm not sure CR can regurgitate ops every 6 ticks to keep things controllable.
This could be a rather long war but that's how faeries tend to prevail. I know it's not whoring optimal, but CR has my theme seal of approval. I look fondly on this type of war as it reminds me of TFC.
