Id rather have 20% Hosps 20% TG than 15% Hosps 15% TG 10% Stables as an orc.
Stables are all well and good, but look at what you have to sacrifice for them and look how quickly they become useless if you a) lose land b) lose horses c) can steal horses anyways

Because all working peasants generate 2.25 GC each, plus income sci bonuses, plus honour bonuses.
this one don't have any homes so I guess this buildstrat would be more benificial in the beginning when u are tiny, right?

this is during war... any faulties in it? I know some of u mentioned banks isn't needed but I don't know why? if u can give me a good reason I might swap those 10% into homes instead..
I ran a 400 acre province with 100% BE through Angel BC....10% banks provide an 11.25% increase,1000 gc's an hour is the gain.Up to each how they build and play,myself,I only use banks at start up20% min.,at oop go to war build(which has no banks)and pretty much there for the age...:) btw,as an orc,I dream of 100% BE...lol
they aren't completely necessary, certainly not 10% of them.
each working peasant(which is probably all of them) generates 2.25gc a day. super quick calculation.
1000 acres*25 pop/acre=25000 total pop
65%military+4% mages=69%non peasant pop
25000*.69=17250 non peasants
25000-17250=7750 peasants
7750*2.25gc/peasant=17437 gc/day
25000*65%=16250 military&thieves
16250-3500 thieves(3.5tpa)=12750 troops
12750*1gc/troop(200% payrate)=12750gc military upkeep
17437-12750=4687gc/day income
boost that up with a higher population, and some income science, and you can actually get by with out any banks. i went without them last age, except at the beginning, and right after a war when i needed to pump.

Question about the Orc - Warhero setup regarding the elite credits
the guide says for war hero "Specalist Credits"

No specs credits... But you woun't need them,with leet credits you save enough gold to train your def specs.

Your getting elite credits for an 8/2 Elite worth 800, instead of spec credits worth 350....?
It works, it helps out the Orc economy problem and essentially if you are an active attacker you should be able to train at least 65% or more of your elites for free with credits.
Not too mention 25% extra casualties and spreading the plague.
With all the attacking you will be doing your science should be fairly well pumped for an Orc and you should be plundering your piratey Orc ass off.
I think it is a real good combo.You can train those expensive leets you use with the "spec credits" and spend the gold training the cheap def. specs.It is designed to give the orc an econ boost.and it does.

... actually your not getting 50% Specialist Credits or Elite Credits from war hero as an orc at all.
Someone from omac please elaborate whats gonna happen with Orc and the 50% training credits from Warhero

They have already told you. Spec credits become elite credits at a cost of 1 credit per elite.
Warhero will work the same as if it was spec credits. Orc def specs will now ONLY be trained by gc.
OMAC havent posted anything about different percentages of credits gained from attacks nor for the warhero personality regarding this.
If they had changed something this drastically it would have been posted and if it has changed without them telling anyone, then they have around 2000 Orc Warhero players that are not going to be happy.
Since the player base on WoL at the moment is around 16000 I dont think OMAC can afford to piss off 2000 players.
elite credits if you like.they are one in the same.They haven't updated the guide yet.maybe they will specify it when they update it.
I hope that WH "specalist" cred will work for the orc "elite" credits.

I have a question.
Having forts instead of TG mean I can train a few more Ogres instead of defspec, all other constant, making my RAW OPA higher and thus little more protected for ambushes?
It is going to be the same for orcs. That is why they took out the 0/6 def specs for orc. That would be just too much. As I said before orc war hero can be very power if played correctly. And NoseBleed it will be insane.
no matter how many ogres u have, i assume you would only send enough to break the enemy. if you normally send all your ogres, that only give you increased losses, with no benefits. Unless u oversend just for ambush protection, which is not worthwhile because an ogre gives a measly 2 def. better to send off specs if you want.Quote:

Orcs are interesting... If played properly they can be a dominant force due to an incredibly high OPA and plague is a killer. When you work in 30% gains it means that when chaining they have a much easier time overpopping people. Horrible news for kingdoms reliant on elves. If you mix orcs with a race that can generate income for dragons/aid (human/merchant) or some type of plague-immune combo that can double as a hybrid (dwarf/shepherd or gnome/shepherd) they can be very dangerous.
Their lone weakness is when the other kingdom decides to commit to launching dragons at them. They won't be able to send any back and will suffer horrible consequences because of it. Maybe at upper levels this is a big problem, but at the level I'm playing on orcs should be fairly dominant without needing considerable science/honor.

definitely depends on how you play and what you can do as a KD. For the properly active, attacking KD orcs will be absolutely devastating.
