Races and personalities for a Kingdom Bank.

Ok so firstly i would like to address those that claim "if your not top 5 your not a bank", its called economy of scale learn about it. If he is in a ghetto, which he says he is and that ghetto wants a province that can provide a large chunk of economy on a steady basis throughout a war they DO NOT need a top 5 land province to do it, they don't need a province that NO ONE can break. They just need a province or provinces that no one in their wars can break. if their average kingdom size is 800 acres having a 2k acre faery is going to provide them with just what they want, a province that can not be broken, it can protect its pop (thus protecting econ) and use ToG to generate a proportionately large amount of income. Now myself personally i would rather use several provinces not so far out grown say 3-4 provinces about 50% larger than average kingdom size and then make an attempt in war to go after highest MO enemys to ensure the 3-4 stay UB.

As to race, in a ghetto Faery or halfer is best as they can protect their econ better and their D better than the dwarfs and humans as well as provide some T/M support.

Well, they do actually. That 2k faery wont be able to run the low draft required for massive income because out of war they will get farmed out. Even running a high draft for decent defense numbers will not help as people will still farm it out of war. A prov that cannot retal = free, safe acres.

what can a 2k faery do ... =) eco-wise? ... odd they have the most expensive leet and have the worst draft rate. they cant even support themselves ... how can they support a kd of only 800a prov .... surely ... my term is better ... a big prov in a small fish tank =)

About the only thing you where right about their bishop was that a prov that cannot retal or have it's kingdom retail for them is free acers. That is why I suggested having several turtles not quit as far outgrown. That way you can mix faerys and halfers together providing some retail support from halfers OOW. Also at 2k acres and 100+ dos you may take the occasional random out of war but most don't bother since their are always far better targets at that size so you wont get raped the same way you might think. Your also right that you wont have a ubergiagantic income like the land whore banks but it will still be vastly larger than your attackers after a day or two of war and that's all the ghetto needs. My kingdom is doing and has been doing exactly what I'm talking about now very successfully now for several ages and have never had a problem with our outgrowns getting raped or not providing sufficient economy. If your kingdom was around 6 mill nw bishop we could have a war after Xmas so u could see what its all about.

Your limited experience in a small kingdom just says you have gotten away with a bad strategy for a while, not that it is a good strategy.

I'll say it again. A 2k faery in a kd of 800 acre provs (your example, not mine) is a land farm. The faery will need to run high draft to try and not get nailed out of war, and they will be hit for free acres by provinces that are slightly larger than them.

To azn y would some one in war, who is already UB, be training leets? Or for that matter drafting at all besides to replace thieves and aid soldiers?
Ike I said he's not gonna be the "the super aider" that some 10k acre dwarf is but if they could send up a cow like that they probably wouldn't be considered a ghetto. In a ghetto war however having one, our a couple provinces, that's Econ is strong enough to send/kill the bulk of dragons is just as invaluable to them as the ginormas dwarf is to the land whores.

Its not the acres they have, its the draft they run.

If your bank isn't churning out tons of cash and quadding then he is failing.

Hmmm well I will run out and tell all our outgrowns that they are doing somthing wrong because bishop says they should be getting fed on.... And then I will convience them to start loosing wars because bishop says we are just having abnormally high sucsess with a bad strat... Lol my kingdom is considered by many, maybe even u bishop as one of the best war kingdoms on the server and we are a retirement home so we must be doing something right lol...

ur 2k faery will get bounce wave on by a few orc that outgrew their kd

I didn't refer to your other provinces, nor have I any interest in juvenile e-peen waving. You can call yourself the greatest kingdom in the world if you want. It is a fact that a 2k faery in a kd of 800 acre provinces is not a bank, nor it is an optimal use.

Wrong, its not an economy of scale. A 2k faery cannot run 30-40% draft like a top 5 land prov that is napped can. They are completely different.

And what I'm saying bishop is that you have your nose so far up in the air with your elitist attitude that you can't have any hope what so ever of seeing what could or could not be use full to a ghetto. Lol bishop, your right that province wouldn't be able to run a 40% draft so that must mean it would be completely useless even after 36 hours of war when it's income is 30-40% of a kingdoms total Econ, Econ that the kingdom wouldn't otherwise have.... Because that province wouldn't be as good as a top kingdoms bank so it is completely worthless.....

You have shown nothing besides your own opinion, mostly pertaining to how top kingdoms do things better. Witch btw is completely obvious sence otherwise they wouldn't be top kingdoms....

Useless, no - its just not anywhere near optimal. He is sending some aid to people, but its not that much proportionally as his build and army is made up of defense. He cant use his tpa or wpa as his nw is too big (hes got no mana anyway as he is togging). He cant hit people because his elites are too costly and he cant afford to send that much defense away.

You'd get more cash on a 1k human merchant and he could hit and thieve without issue.

The prov you outlined is not a bank.

Like I said it's not a bank in the elite sence of the term... Witch is your issue u can't see past the fact that it's not as good as a top 10 cow but news flash! A ghetto is never going to have a super elite cow and what I'm purposing is about as close as they can effectively get. As to your 1000 acre human theory it is laughable, the human would not keep it's income it would get FBed or chained and then poof Econ gone. Where as the faery can protect the Econ it dose have and even grow it through LL for acres or droping some d once it is secure in war. It's not so much the fact that the Econ is overwhelmingly huge as it would be with a elite cow but more that the Econ is safe and still vastly stronger than anyone else's in kingdom once ops start flying.

If its not a bank then don't call it one then.

What you are proposing is an ineffective use of a slot. That faery isnt going to LL much, his nw is too high and if he is LL then where is his ToG? His econ will not be strong because he has to dedicate so much draft to elites and his buildings will be focused around defense also. The human might have poor econ after a FB run but the faery has inefficient econ from the start.

Leave your faery at 20% larger than your kd core and run 3 of them, then its actually useful.

This forum is used to teach less experienced players. When getting advice of some very experienced players its better to listen and learn from it. I don't get why you are so fully trying to make your point while multiple experienced players says its not correct...

its not a bank in ANY sense of the word.

its income cant send dragons by itself when needed, it cant slay dragons by itself, it cant quad tap the enemies top provinces for gains, and it cant fund an entire kd with aid. (by fund i mean completely fund, like 4k solds + all the gc to train them in 1 aid shipment to EVERY prov during war or whatever)

all it is doing is providing a low income boost at the expense of the ability to gain land.

I don't use mods or calculators, due to playing on a mobile. Im a halfling merchant, and i've got 1/6 acres in banks all from SoA. Still increasing 1% gains in 0.36% gains, not worth it IMO. At 24.86% + Income, how much will I need to destroy so that I get 20% income so I can use the acres elsewhere?
