If you guys notice, the argument not start from the KD who start plundering, but start from the KD who wan to revenge (as they think they should not be attacked during EOWCF, and clearly their mindset is wrong as stated by bishop).

read between the lines.. you are too conscious about the words used.. word for word to be exact.. take it to a different level and you will understand what bishop is trying to imply :)

If any kd wants to plunder/steal into someones EoWcf... that's all fine and good... just be sure you realize that it gives that KD free reign to do what they want with you as it is not an honorable move.

Most feel that hitting into an active war is more dishonorable than hitting into an EoWcf... but if you do in fact hit into someone's EoWcf, get ready for some retaliation if they are a decent KD. And if you hit into multiple kd's eowcf's throughout the age... prepare for a massive GB from those kd's that you pestered throughout the age.

Conclusion: You are free do do what you want, but know there are consequences for your actions. Most decent kd's will be loaded in their EoWcf as they try to accumulate enough gold for retraining their armies during the war. This does not mean they are the 'best' targets to plunder since it now gives that kd a reason to pull a 'dishonoarble' move against your kd in retaliation.

The gold that is accumulated during EoWcf is important gold in the recovery process of that kd. Taking it is a very hostile move for whatever kd decides it is a good idea to do.

For understand or not, it is the "KD who wan to revenge" should understand, as my understanding can't help them

I'm just a passerby, looking at previous thread and this, this is my opinion:

As Bishop says, any kd is free to do anything they want, because the game allows it, but ready to face the consequences yourself. All agree with this statement? Should be no problem in agreeing this.

Next, I've seen soooo many forumers talking about honors, fair play, integrity etc, now my next question is (for all the forumers that replied and made a comment), have you NOT touched ANY eowcf kd throughout your months/years of playing utopia? Not even once? If yes, congratulation, you're really honorable and always play fair player and I'm proud of you, we do need more players like you. But for those answer is "no, I did touch eowcf kd before", you better shut up and stop talking nonsense about honor etc. Anyone disagree with this statement? I believe it's simple logic and everyone should agree with this.

Next, again we talk about fair play, honor etc. To me, PK other kd just because of eowcf plunder does not reflect any fair play or honor here. It's something more related to personal emotional, revenge etc. So, again, stop talking nonsense about honor and fair play.

From the posts, sad to say Saints, you've pissed off quite a lot of people in utopia to get your funding, be it on dragon or province pump (which I don't think so, it'll be stupid to ask for war when you're not pumped). If it's for dragon, one thing I don't understand is, based on your size, a dragon cost is probably around 12m~14m? Seriously, getting PK-ed just because of 12m stolen.. Haha.. I can only say it's an unlucky age for you. But based on the posts, it seems like you pissed off the whole utopia to fund the dragon, which again, I don't think you can piss off so many kingdoms just because of 12m. Unless you sent multiple dragons or restart a new dragon because you plan to change to another dragon type. I don't know.. Back to my point, as I mentioned, getting double PK-ed just because of get plundered, yeah that's the consequences of interfering in eowcf, but please forumers, stop talking about fair play and honor here. A kd who PK is ruining other people's game, and based on the posts, I think it even shatters Saint's dream of getting crowned this age, correct me if I'm wrong. Yes, Saints are bunch of douchebags, but Kingdom C and those who agree PK playing, you're not honorable as well.

So, yeah, next age, I could see more complaints in this forum again regarding getting PK-ed suddenly, especially by Saints, since majority of forumers agrees with PK / power-play or the concept of "yeah you can do whatever punishment you want to" and yet still talks about honor, fair play etc. To Saints, I just hope you don't take it seriously when the community here agrees on PK due to plunder eowcf. Utopia is dying already, the amount of players playing are getting lesser each age and we should not let the culture of PK growing.

End of typing and back to my own life. Remember, it's just a game, a freaking word game somemore with no graphics. Getting angry for a word game is just... I don't know.. Chill everyone.

An EOWCF is between two kingdoms, to all outside parties those kingdoms are in WAR status, as displayed on throne intel and kingdom page. So to say you are hitting into an EOWCF is inaccurate, YOU are hitting into a war. It's designed to limit outside interference for a reason, so if you hit into it unwarranted, don't cry when it comes back to bite you in the ass.

I view it different because the conflict ends when one side withdraws(or much more uncommonly a MP is reached), after that there are no more hits or op's traded, the conflict has ended. Therefore it is not a part of the war because there is no ongoing conflict, it is separate and different.
Eowcf has not always existed, it is a mechanism that was created to limit vulturing and give the warring parts time and chance to recover, it was a good change and to make that recovery possible both parties needs to be afforded some protection but that does not mean the conflict hasn't ended.

Personally I don't give a diddly rats ass about how many places the game mentions war when in postwar cf, it is not war as there is no conflict. Sure it's damn dirty to interfere with somebody's recovery but much less so than interfering in an ongoing active conflict. However in the current case discussed I think the punishment were appropriate.

I think your act of repeatedly interfering with their recovery is dishonourable, their punishment is not so, it's appropriate. You could have waited until they were out of eowcf before engaging them, that would have been the honourable thing to do.
Had they hit/oped into your war without reason or justification then yes that would have been dishonourable, but that is not the case.

Obviously EOWCF is war, as stated in the game by messages in kd-page and throne page. Kd A (or was it B) hit kd C during that period, they deserve punishement.

I think pk-ing various players of kd A is disproportionate and maybe I would have done otherwise (hitting like x2 of what I was hit), but, on the other hand, kd A knows now what happens when you hit into EOWCF. I'm sure they won't do it again (except against kd C, who with they have a grunch now). So mission acomplished.

I've been playing this game for many ages and every age since the EOWcf period was introduced. And I can't recall being robbed more than once or twice for all the ages.

The main reason is probably because it isn't worth it.
I believe that 90 % of the Utopian community don't do robberies in EOWCF, except for new players who don't know the basics.

Saints put this robbery into a system, and tried to get away with it. Unfortunately they did it enough times to stuble upon a kd that didn't like it at all, and that was willing to kill off provinces to teach them a lesson.

I can't see anything wrong here, from both parties, and it suprises me that Saints are complaining so much about it.
In Utopia you can do whatever you want, as long as you can get away with it, and as long as you don't care about what other people think of you or your kd.

But my personal opinion is that it's quite lame to rob ppl in EOWCF, that period is there because of a reason, and people stock gc and money in order to get most out of the short period of time.

Saints can now go back and revenge the PK provinces, or settle this. It's all about who is stronger.
But my guess they will be quite much GB involved because now the woke the bear in all the other kds that feel wronged, and that's what this is about.
If you don't like what's being done to you, bite back.
But morale of the story is, do not think you re invincible.

Your definition is incorrect

EOWCF is between the two kingdom that has engaged in that war. Which results that both participated kingdom unable to hit each other.

It has no meaning to outsiders who did not engaged in that war. So if you think it' OK to hit into it, then by definition you are a douche and welcomes outsiders hit you when you are on war irregardless it's active or eowcf. This douche move is called, OOW hits.

You can't put it on 0gc, because it has a tendency to fly away and reak havoc as soon as you hit that magic number :P
That being said, there are 2 sides here: People who respect the eowcf and people who dont. If you are willing to risk getting hit at a very inconvenient time, by all means, rob into eowcf - if you're not, dont rob.

Just to get facts straight here...saints has not only hit into one of our wars one time but 3 different times... Once after our 1st war which we lost, and once after our 3rd war.... Both time just ignored.... now comes war number 5 and they hit 4x Into war and countless rob vaults while tagged up " hostile stay out" and then later tagged something about button draggers...we sent them a message warning them that if they hit or opped into is again we would Pk and they would not win their next war... And what do u know provinces from saints continue to rob us and our message was ignored not even replied too... they were fairly warned of their actions and consequences for them....

Titan reborn is our monarch and is one of the most honorable and fair players to lead most.any kingdom I've played in... Even on par with Mono when I players for her in BOH.

Also and another fact.... We do not hit into other kingdoms end of war cfs or wars until now.... We play as honorable as we can we wave ki from after kinhdom... When they ask for Cf even if it's just 4-5 hits into our wave we give them the Cf... and ask every kingdom that waves us the same....

I meant that the game would record the gc contribution to the dragon but not send the dragon until the second eowcf is ended whenever that is.
Hence putting it at 0gc but not sending it.

Dude EOWCF is only show to the other kingdom that they war.

Kingdom A war B and they cf.During that time if you go to kingdom A or B page,it show war.No matter u are kingdom C to Z.

Hit a kingdom in their war or EOWCF and you should expect swift and brutal revenge. You hit into ours too and we havent exacted our revenge yet. I suppose you will start another thread crying when we do.

Apparently there is a kingdom out of nowhere came mass learning us. Not sure if they gonna claim that we robbed them, but I'm expecting they would claim that.

That is us. We are kingdom E. If you look at your news you'd see we didn't "come out of nowhere" you robbed and plundered us in our last war so we are taking back our losses with interest while you are at war. Your king msged us after the hits and claimed it was an "accident" and said "we didn't see you guys were at war" (Stupid, how can you not notice?) even after he msged that and said sorry the robbing continued. Now we find out you do this to so many people. Garbage tactics + lies = revenge. Deal with it, at least we are not razekilling.

I do not order attacks into EoWCF/War. plus in the kd news I do not see attacks from us into your kingdom showing EoWCF/War. If its for payback, you made 20+ odd attacks on us. Doing it while in EoWCF will be more appropriate?

so all these hits are coming into saints while they are still in a real war with RK? Poor RK didn't get a real war out of it... I am guessing saints will be WDing at min time to avoid continual GB from outside KD's to make their claims on the dirty play of saints.

EoWCF is not war. EoWCF is the recovery period after a war. You aren't actively engaging ANYONE. If someone decides they want to hit into your EoWCF you can focus 100% of your efforts towards hitting them back/doing whatever you might want to do to them. You can't do the same in an active war because you're already engaged with your opponent.

Suggesting that these two situations require the same amount of respect is absurd. It's like saying if you're sitting on the sidelines catching your breath that you're still playing.

From my understanding it appears qicquser1 and his KD been employing this low tactics all age. I don't think it really matters when revenge is being taken back as to me it seems like you truly deserve it.

So this is the real utopia community.. this time I have to stand on Saints' side. Don't just join in the wave for fun. If you have the gut, go 1 vs 1 with Saints and settle it clean. If you do like this, I can anytime call my kingdom to be "Kingdom F" and just claim "Oh last time Saints came and plunder us too, let's whack them while they're weak now."

I must disagree, there have been plenty of times when I've come out of a war being 20-30% drafted with barely any defense left. I may be a very easy target for anyone who wants to take me and it would take me a while to come back to remotely fighting shape. Hence, any retaliation is out of the question for probably a month or two. So regardless if I focus 100% one them during this time, the impact I would have would be de minimus.

@ Chicky - You realize Saints were plundering into EoWCF's right? i.e. acting like "pussies" (your words not mine) and taking resources off provs that weren't in very good shape from a war...

@ Blundered - I'm not saying it's totally ok to hit into EoWCF, I'm just saying that hitting into a war and hitting into an EoWCF are two very different things.
