If my memory serves me right AMA ran no banks and had a fairly successful age.

Also, Mythos beat Pyro without banks, although it was like week 2 so I guess maybe you could say they weren't "banks" yet

Palem, it wasnt even a bank, it was the 2 biggest provinces that clicked 100% explore same tick waving Mythos out of eowcf, taking our chances after we got MP'ed in the first war where the multi on the opponent KD pushed button.

And it was Wk 1.

I was trying to find that war on the forum but it might been when forum got reset.
That banks always win wars is not entirely true. It depends highly of the status of the banks. It remains to be seen what Floggers banks can do and how quick they can execute what needs to be done.

Just looked at some spreadsheet from Age 64, seems to be 9-10% more land we had. NW was probably closer? Don't remember those. Your total pop was way higher than ours.
Looks funny tho. The science numbers I have saved, you have 120mil more books than us and that was excluding whatever you had stocked :P (our 143 vs your 264)

I think your 11k provs had the same popspace as our 16k. Don't remember why, but our science sucked.

It wasn't just sci, Emeriti had really high honor, I think they lost an early fight and had to play catch up most of the age? so they were whoring up after honor trickle instead of getting out ahead before it.

Like, their 11k was a marquis or duke from previous wars if I remember correctly

They ran extreme on 200k def 10k+ provs, which baited razes from a certain kd and resulting farm war. You ran 400k def on your provs. They also had a huge honor lead attributing to that pop gap.

I think the majority of the marquis and dukes was after the war with bb. But they were like #3 honor the whole age or something close. They lost to Mythos oop or was it Rusty? Got some free CFs from the leaders of the early age, Sims5 Divinity and Pew (LOL what a top 3), BB had lost to Divinity (Come on flogger)

I dont remember the exact percentage of gap but it was around 12% - 15% and i just took a higher number..

And you are right.. Our 11k had same military compared to your 16k but you had 2 more banks bigger than that 16k..
Now as Meep and BOH said, we had high honor from the 3-4 wars that we had.. (i still cannot multiquote :( )

but those were the good times.. When dorje didnt have a + sign!!

It was mostly science and probably to a lesser extend their added honor. Still, mostly science :p

Bad prep, or rather bad diplo and bad expectations on floggers end. EOWCF was pretty beast, think he undervalued it. Also should have just CFed when they asked ;p
And yea I think meep's right. They had a bunch of counts and a few marquis pre-war.

What where the start sizes then? I have 203xxx (us) and 186xxx (you) on spreadsheet.

the age where in their odd mind pick orc they has +50% gain, where avian has +30% gain and -30% speed, we play Avian Merch cuz it seem like the ideal way to counter heavy orc .... we try to have human banks with avian core but they didnt grow as fast as avian ... so we end up with bigger core than most kd during mid age when cf were expiring.
