Not 3 ages ago. This happens every age, all the time, ALL THE TIME. CR has been one of its major advocates and has funded so many of our and my friend's conflicts over the ages that I basically lost count. When I first started to lead Sparta I sometimes wondered how some KDs were miraculously able to fund dragons for which they, by my calculations, shouldn't have money for. Only after 3 ages or so I found out about this system of gc for acres. I made use of it like my competitors did and results improved rather quickly.Quote:

lets make 1 thing clear. Bart did not disband pandas. Internal issues with Coss did while no one was interested in full time leading. People left to slack, take a break or joined other kds. Ending Pandas was the call of the people in it. It was not Bart.
Gc farming sux and will always be bad for the competition of this game.
True on both accounts Anri (well don't belittle the effort we put into eradicating the shell that was left, or should I call it the terrorist cell).
Since it's not against the actual game rules Spartans have adapted to this play style learning it from others over the ages, when the top KD leaders decide to do something to change the way they operate we can all most certainly talk. Almost feels like they got beaten at their own game and now they want to call it quits, Bart is generous enough to do that for them.
But, but, bart, this was not a gc for land transaction right?? :)

The first gc I farmed to TBB was for land. the second was to **** CR for not showing us any respect over the ages even though we were the source of like 10% of their land for the first 2 crowns (never mind the other dirty work we did for them). Anyways, CR knows what prov Im running so if they want to settle this they know where to find me. So far only Blizz and Munk have spoken to me.
What u guys dont get is that there is no strategic reason behind this other than getting a point across.
This just shows again how utterly worthless crowns currently are. They could all be renamed as "best cheaters", "best at finding ways to abuse bugs and problematic game mechanics", "best liars" etc
and that is why only a handful of kingdoms even compete for crowns anymore. Most want nothing to do with this kind of play.
As sad as I am that Spartans chose to take this path, it is not even a little surprising.
In this particular case the real bad guys are TBB though. Spartans may have offered gold, but the decision to take it was TBB's. They could have said "no thank you, we are going to win the honor crown in an honorable way". but they didn't. Though , is anybody really surprised they took it? It has been pretty clear that they have no interest in winning in a fair one on one contest for a while now.
I don't like Munk, is that relevant?

Rofl Cappo, Matija has achieved more in the last 4-5 ages than you have (granted, not hard to beat 0 achievements). You're a has-been whose only relevance this age was getting razekilled over and over by us.
