This shows that Israel is a state who targets civilians under pretext of targetting Hamas, in other words state terror. Israel does the very same thing as Hamas, only on a much, much bigger scale.

Wolf, I believe Hamas did not claim responsibility for any of the attacks. And by the look of things, it looks like any time Israel opened the border and aid crawled in, rockets were fired at Israel to close the border. If you ask me, it sounds like it was someone who doesn't want Gaza to prosper and Hamas to look good before the people of Palestine. As it is, there are two prime suspects - one is Fatah, the other Israel itself [I don't think there were any deaths, were there?] .

If you want to look that far back, the conflict is very old. However, its grasping at straws to look that far down your ancestry (if I did the same, I'd grab myself a rifle and go shoot some English Canadians, but obviously, I am not my ancestors and their past conflicts aren't mine).

Furthermore, from what I can see, the conflict is deadlocked for the near future.

The casualities are minor enough that they can keep going at it for quite a while and there probably won't be a peace agreement in the near future so it will be more of the same (broken by intermitten ceasefires).

The scope is relatively minor (two pretty small bodies of population, same for the territories) and local enough in scope not to affect the rest of the world.

Overall, very boring and a good representation of human stupidity getting out of hand. If you want to know what not to do, take a good look at what they are doing (both of them) and then, for your sake, look away.

Well that might be very possible. After all AlFatah are not exactely the little pure fairy from the story either.

On the israeli part, I don't really think so, because if they would want to do something ugly, they would do one provocation then retaliate, not fire so many failed rockets. Since they are so evil and bomb everything even "humanitarian targets on purpose", I don't think they would be scared to kill a few of their own to make it look like a genuine provocation...

As you can read on July 25th, 29th and 31th the missles even misfired falling short, on the Gazan part of the border.

Since this war was planned for 6 months, I would say Israel had extremely good reasons to launch missiles themselves, or provoke missiles, like they did when they bombed Hamas and broke the CF.

As you see through your own source, Hamas never broke the CF. Quite on the contrary, Israel broke it by bombing Hamas.

No need to put humanitarian targets on purpose in clams. When Israel bombed 2 of the hospitals, they called the hospitals in advance telling them they would be bombed shortly and should get the hell out of there.

And they admitted bombing UN schools on purpose, saying "hamas shot at them from the school", something which was disproved by the UN.

No one is being over-dramatic, unless you think the slaughter of 1200 ppl and loads of injured ppl is okay. Israel lost 3 civilians during this conflict.
So where do you think the focus should be?

At the poor israelis who got splints in their door, and a hole in the yard?

Or at the river of blood(literally) where limbs float freely and children die in hordes?

It's impossible for the media to cover this 50% equal, all the damage is taking place in Gaza, so that's where things must be reported from.

So, what should the Western world do? Just say, "oh well, they fired rockets, they bombed back, let it all carry on and let's not be blinded by the media and let's watch it till no one is left standing"? They created this problem, they need to solve it. We both agree there are a lot of problems in this world. People should start by fixing their own mistakes.
