For a little more fun breakdown:
What are the two main attributes of a player in order to be great at Utopia????
1. Activity
2. Teamwork with KD
Allowing two people access to two accounts in their own home gives a hyper-boost to both of those. Players that want to be good have to find time in their RL to be active, and work to communicate with their KD to have teamwork. ALLOWING gf to play both provinces while bf is at work, then vice versa when he arrives home, is nonsense.
The problem people have with the new system is that account sitting, which provides the very same benefit, remains available while a player who encourages his brother to join Utopia (and thus growing the user base) will have to deal with these restrictions which I still believe have a very serious and negative effect on their effectiveness during wars.
I feel that sitting is a much more significant advantage than this, so it should play by the same rules. No interactions from provinces that sit with each other. That is only fair. Yet according to Bishop, sitting is in no way illegal, even though most provinces that are being sat will be interacting with the person who is doing the sitting. This should be more fairly addressed.
There is disparity which needs to be resolved.
And yes, proving a white list couple legit would be a tremendous task, privacy concerns and still not foolproof. I stand corrected on that front.
Can there not be other considerations? Limit the number of long term white lists in a kd? We have players home for holiday having issues, this is a temporary situation. But it seems that game play is being made excessively more difficult for the conscientious with little impact on the real cheaters. There has to be a better way.
And can we stop referencing the "Mehul days", how is that even relevant, he is no longer an entity in development of this game. While still a part of its evolution historically, no real impact on future developments. Move on.
All we are asking is for some changes to lessen this 'penalty' if at all possible. If you put this system in you are eliminating their ability to play in the same kingdom as they have now become accustomed to. It would be great if this system could be adjusted to allow people who are already playing the game and doing so in a way that was LEGAL to continue to do so or as closely as possible.
If you would tell us exactly what you want to accomplish by implementing this system, maybe the player base can add in ideas that will be more effective in eliminating what you want to without harming the way they are playing the game legally. Most players have a vested interest and are willing to help if given the opportunity. Many of us run businesses and deal with many of these types of issues on a daily basis. We know the situation you are in. However, most players have never really been given a chance to help you because in the last few ages they have received a "this is how it is, deal with it" attitude from the moderators and devs. That is not conducive to a relationship and there must be one or the disconnect will continue. Just like in kingdoms, there needs to be a relationship with the devs, mods, support and players. It need not be one of master and slave, more collaboration might warm things up and actually develop a community. Just like in a kd, true leadership does not just hear, it listens. We all want a stable, fair, and productive game, so tell us your goal, so we can offer some brainstorming, ideas. You never know what might have been overlooked. At least showing some interest would help diminish the already standoffish approach to the whole matter.

Tell us the goal, and we'll advice/brainstorm as best we can with you, until we find a middle ground.
And if the goal is to ban all forms of xlogging, in any form, legit or not, say so, cuz that would end this discussion as well, but that's not the impression I'm getting.
It's not only chaining, it's all forms of actions including but not limited to intel and sabotage ops as well. In addition, there is no information about the time limit penalty, if the penalty were lets say between ticks or a few ticks that would be all fine and good, but the fact is its been 24 hours and currently one of my attackers in my kd still cannot attack or op the same target yet.
And godly, I would advise you to read in depth. I have neither stated that I am directly impacted by this change nor I am a province being affected by this change. All I am doing is commenting based on what my kd is actually experiencing right now in war and to future trolls, I am not a whitelisted player, but my kd is affected by this.
Peace
Bottom line...top kds are too nub and inactif to actually win wars so they race out in front of everyone to stay safe while any kd smaller than them with more activity and offense is a threat. All new rules always protect these people rather than the other 99%. LOL 2 people in one house legitimately is unfair advantage... LOL
Is it an unfair advantage that i can get 4 provs online by texting these people to stop playing skyrim and get they ass to a puter and NM this fool so we can do a NS run with the other 9 guys who i texted to come online? Is it unfair that they all logged within 10 mins of texts and obliterated somebody? I dont complain when another kd has more guys online.
Can anyone honestly assplain a difference there?
Circle of the whitelist timeine
1. Having a second account from same ip is illegal under any circumstance. Accounts get deleted.
2. People are allowed to get whitelisted, a nice privilege created in attempt to accommodate roomates/couples.
3. Whitelist gets majorly abused, couples x-log and individuals run 2 provinces at once.
4. Whitelist goes defunct, but you can still have multiple accounts from a shared IP! It is governed however with a rule dis-allowing interaction between same ips.
Look if you don't want a restriction, play in seperate kds! If you want the PRIVILEGE of running MULTIPLE accounts from a shared ip, deal with the rules set in place to govern abuse.
Point was you can still have multiple accounts from shared ip ^_^. But thanks, ill edit
