Is our war really that interesting?
We just hit the two week mark for war. Total of three weeks if you start at their initial wave on us (Goats).
When we wanted to declare, they were 4% too big, we had to drop their NW a bit to get button. Also had 40k acres on us (mostly ours). Lost all of our honor though. Think we were top five honor before getting waved.
Elit,
I won't get into specifics, but I said all along back then that i did not condone the Sanc/Havoc situation and I acknowledged some wrongs. I also pointed out the wrongs you made at the time and explained the reasons why Sanc and Havoc felt they needed to act as they did based on your actions. The details are not relevant to this thread so I won't rehash them here and you can find me on IRC if you want to discuss. The summary though is that I acknowledged wrongs at the time and now but you still refuse to admit any wrongs by you ever. Most of forum readers have lived through ages with your shenanigans.
You say you never gb'd anyone, but you did deal break your ally for refusing to gb pew pew when you wanted them to. It wasn't team play against you. You dodged pewpew to war Jerks, won, then didn't want to face pew pew who had been sitting waiting for you. So you instead b2b Jerks who were by then way smaller than you. This was just like when you b2b Sanc to avoid Havoc only in this case Jerks did make every effort to reach out and cf you before hand. You continued to dodge pew pew and refused to cf Jerks even when they had been hit out of range because you knew when you cf'd you'd have to face pew pew. This was all your own doing and your allies realized that and that's why they wouldn't gb pew pew to save you from them.
As for WoL and Alias, Alias was in no way fully traded (probably about the same level as your kingdom.) Age start scripting that was rampant on WoL due to the requirements to stay on the casual server of needing a significant amount of players to select to not stay in the kingdom. Battlefields didn't need this same age start scripting, and so scripting on Battlefields was mostly done after deletion sweeps. New kingdoms generally also scripted together on WoL although not exclusively. I did not play in Alias so I can't comment on their war with you. Rage was a merger of Alias and Destiny.
You're simply in denial if you seriously think that there wasn't a major difference in quality of battlefields kingdoms and WoL kingdoms. By definition and design of Mehul, all of the kingdoms who performed reasonably well and had a high number of returning players were all automatically placed on battlefields with only the poorly performing kingdoms with lower numbers of returning players placed on WoL. While there were some good WoL kingdoms who abused the rules with scripting to stay on Wol, it's pure ridiculousness to claim that the WoL kingdoms on average were anywhere near as good as the Battlefields ones. By the very design of the servers, they were not. (Note that the first two ages of the split servers were an exception since this dichotomy didn't exist until the third age of the splt.)
Regarding scripting and crosslogging and whatnot for you and Mike: Absalom had an official policy against scripting and crosslogging. This policy was both public and internal. I am not saying that this prevented it completely within Absalom, but I will say that kingdoms within Absalom who did it had to hide it from Absalom leadership and others in Absalom and risked expulsion if conclusively discovered. I'm not claiming we were angels, and I don't deny we traded every bit as much as anyone else, but we did have policies in place against crosslogging and scripting. While the policies may not have eliminated it completely, they certainly did lower the extent compared to the "Anti-Abs" kingdoms who openly embraced it.
I'm running an undead sage and it's an interesting combination. It's not the height of team mechanics that a dwarf might be and not the power hitter a faery could be in ops, but it offers great utility in hostile.
Initially I came at undead sage as a way to tinker with the new science and still have a viable attacker. The science systems has emerged as credible and synergies well with undead. If sage had turned out to be a bust then I still had a high octane attacker with sturdy science defense. I've emphasized the ability to cast amnesia vs enemy core so my build strat has been guild heavy all age. It's the ability to abduct vs high defense targets and cast amnesia in combination that makes this build formidable.
Elit's DB on cJ was justified because cJ DB him first. Elit DB on Mink and Goldy was justified because Mink and Goldy DB him first. Now Elit has forgiven them because Elit is good guy. #Elit2017
You better not have more IRL pictures of Elit than me, currently 1.
...
And yet after the very public deletion of our KD, abs still offered us membership if we'd turn on cov during the awar.
I didn't say your policy wasn't in place, just that it was laughable. I mean, ffs grace? Not to mention the multies who played in abs kingdoms...
