There is big difference between hitting into someone's hostile when u see that at least one side does no hitting + offered CF and when both KDs are actively hitting each other. And expecting someone to war u after being in hostile for days is just meh... they MIGHT do it from desperation, but u really think its ok? Seems like it is in Rusty's book. Seems like ppl should keep this in mind when looking for waves...
We have been staring on ED for over 48hrs waiting for our chance. I guess we are just too nub to use those advnaced tactics :P
I did read them all. Correct me where im wrong but from what is written here:
1. BoB wave on Rusty happened while Rusty was in hostile (2 hits) and right after they accepted CF from kd they were hostile with. At the point when wave started there were not hits on Rusty from oppsing kd for 12hrs (or more), plus both KDs have canceled dragons aimed on eachother.
2. Rusty waved BoB while BoB and ED were ACTIVELY hitting eachother (and i can confirm this since we were watching after ED) for at least 48h (im not sure when exactly hostile started but i was following it for ~48h orso).
3. Not just as the act of revenge, but Rusty's wave was (accroding to u) made in hope that BoB will declare on Rusty instead of ED despite of being in active hostile for days already.
Now, what facts im missing?

This is a much more respectable (if slightly drunker) version.
Also, this thread is quickly on the way to being the most viewed and most commented upon thread on this section, testimony to ED's brilliance in talking bollocks for extended periods of time.
I'll drink to that!
Who is FREE? Landdropper?
Free is LEGENDARY - they have been around for quite some time....good to see peppie is still hanging in there . Gl and hf in your ongoing war - quite some interesting tactics there - who will be best in gaining honor...
why is this thread even still goin on^^
rusty got caught with pants down and retalled later on by waving into active hostile/war cause they were too pussy to fight it out on even grounds and too proud give free wave and move on.
Everything is bs, now lets move on.
Always remember there is a difference between dubble someone and vulture someone.
Always remember there is a difference between dubble someone and vulture someone.
your double is bubble trubble. ;-) ands I follow FREE like a damn good animated novel - that's grown folks comics.
Huh? haha
updates ?
ED being bigger keep camping troops to hit undead elites at home. Nice move. Admire their activity. In short, BOb is getting smashed. But this result was expected.
They can afford to camp troop. The amount of aid by their 3 big human is so much that they could train ton of troops. More than what ms can kill.
You can try sot any of their smaller provinces in Ed. The amount of aid they received is atrocious
I think it was mentioned earlier that ED was camping troops home and hitting undeads when their armies are home to destroy offense on their undeads. It looks like they were also following a similar tactic of chaining down BoBs elves + massacring.
In the other thread, it seems like there is a one sided emerald dragon in BoB's favor... which kind of has me baffled looking at the large humans that ED has. They must be focused on aiding up their small provinces rather than investing in a drake / slaying.
Uhm, this was an unexpected but welcome turn of the thread. The flaming gets old after a while...I just got to make one comment on it, for those who view us as the bully here, and for the confusion around the alleged CF offers. I repeatedly offered CF's through in game messages to the monarch and once to the co-monarch. I have ofc the messages in my outbox. Before hostiles escalated we demanded 3 hits for CF. After our first wave, the day after, and the day after that we offered CF for a time frame of their liking without any conditions or demands. If anything, WE have been bullied. That said, a small war update. I can start with the dragon business, thats easy enough to explain: We're out of NW range to send dragon. It could well be that we drop some net in order to be able to start a dragon, or we dont, we'll see. As for slaying, we didnt really care about the emerald dragon so much, having like 10 wh's and 7 tm's.
As for war tactics, I must say Im pretty confused myself. Its some kind of anti warring...the game mechanics is pretty stupid tbh. You can chain a prov down to 200 acres and he can sit with 100k off and land def and farm honor. Feels like both KD's are afraid to take any land, which is what warring should be about. Who wants an attacker who grows out of range to gain honor, and is an open shell to opping? So I guess thats why NW is dropping so slowly, cause no one really goes for neither gains or deep chains. BoB is hitting our TM's pretty hard, we're trying to grind down their big off's, thats I guess the bottom line.
ED will lose then.
ED slay dragon with their big human within a tick and started one against BOB. They are in serious mode
Obviously the camping strategy to destroy offense is one which is used by very active kingdoms. Efficiency? Im not sure myself but it did proof some sense of strength since ED are much bigger in terms of military to just not over grow themselves but Raze/Massacre at the desired size. Those campers weren't eating MS anyway. They are online and would have taken the MV from a peer. ED tanked the Emerald for days, of course, BoB sent that Emerald because they wanted to destroy their TMs which weren't immune to dragon therefore, not killing the dragon was definitely a mistake I would see.
Pak I don't even know why your trying to justify I pmed you personally saying we were gonna war ed and I still recieved hits so just stfu...and you think all your hits were fair for two hits on you....I am just say I am glad you think that way.
They had been doing ooh plunders the entire time they were being massacred down. They had the second dragon already funded. From this point there are four options.
1. Kill both dragons, overextending resources while letting them fund a third dragon with their economies still intact. This fails a basic risk vs reward metric.
2. Kill the first, instantly get the second, and let them begin to fund a third while their economies are still intact. See above.
3. Don't kill any dragons. This is foolish.
4. Let the first fly away, disable their economies in the meantime, and instantly kill the second. Economies now damaged, unable to send a third in a timely manner.
The correct decision was made.
It seems your TMs are grinded down Parth, and the nw gap is closing fast. It looks to me like bob is gaining the upperhand here?
NW dropped was to be expected with BOB chaining t/ms is the only strategy they know.
NW drops when t/ms get chained and attackers are fireballs and m/s.
Hard to drop BOB t/ms because they are already small.
That being said, this is a war ED can't lose.
Losing honor on the other hand is something that will probably happen since they are being top fed by t/ms and undead/clerics.
ED faeries are lost now. When your faeries get chained to 400 acres, then an enemy undead gets chained to 400 acres and has 8000 ghouls coming home, your faery is going to feel the pain.
NW gap is about 1.3 mil now. I dont think it will ever go under 1 mil this war.
ED needs a 1 sided dragon up on BOB top priorityl
Then work on chaining all t/ms (including that elf thats still alive) down.
Then work on chaining highest MO low enough to he releases elites.
Those are obviously hard to accomplish because ED attackers are all over 2k acres, and bob attackers and t/ms are generally smaller. It will be hard to chain them.
ED can't lose, but they can lose honor unfortunately. This will probably drag on for a week or two.
If you notice the way BoB is set up, they always keep their T/Ms small, to make them less interesting to chain / harder to chain due to having to hit down sending quite alot of offense in the process. That paired with a strong hitter force (undeads) make them difficult to war. They always chain enemy T/Ms first, while softening up fat hitters on the side - i have not seen them use a different strat. I wouldn't count BoB out of this yet, no disrespect for ED at all, but BoB are top feeding with ops + chains, and that usually generates a much higher damage output. Its no point in being 4k acres (ED) with no peasants and a NW that makes you have to hit way way down in NW when hitting/opping. I guess we see, but its not as onesided as portrayed. Again, no offense intended towards ED - i am just brainstorming without having any intel to back it up.
We have big tm but all were massacre and trad march down during hostile..
So much theory crafting, so much missing the obvious.
