They got initial foothold with large ub's and we agreed to give them button in a manner that allowed them to get 2 war waves in before we did our first.

All that said war is still very much undecided.

I googled it and saw the "a" on the second search result and figured google was trolling. Apparently I'm not an elitist blowhard or I would've gotten it right. I'm working on it though. I always enjoyed Statler & Waldorf on The Muppet Show.

And yes, I was there, laughing at my friends who had Commodore computers. Back when cakculators were cheating. Back before "smoke breaks" because you smoked while working. Back when self serve gas station lanes were for cheapskates!

Haven't had the luxury of warring FS since being in divinity. Would be a good fight I think if both kds were equal size and had the same prep.

Hopefully may happen late age of we're lucky.

They were almost equal in size, but their pump was outrageous compared to ours. They waved us, then wanted war, and we agreed on 2 days. We couldn't pump anything in 2 days, so we warred as we were - very underpumped imo. And had a active province suddenly go inactive, so we were down a guy. But that happens I guess. We still did ok, even though we lost. ;)

You should. I was very impressed with them, and I hear they've grown stronger this age. They kicked our butts, though we had some internal stuff (another inactive, for example). They still would have won.

The problem with anything is in the doing. Guys are quick to point out how to stop something clearly explained and when that level of competition is faced they have to take the time to do it. Even a great war kingdom has to take the time to do it. Just like anyone else I can change my tactical stripes at a whim and do. For instance, I'm too busy to split armies this age so I don't. I've been chained to 103 acres this age and never released offense. I just monitored my peasants and eased back into the next unique. Zero acres built happened. I'm watching to. When I propose tactics in Strategy Forum they're for regional expenditure, and I make that clear. Obviously I believe in the big hammer, just not 20 of them. The fact is I've done what I said at top war level and it worked. That doesn't mean it's the only thing I do. Waving like a spearhead with no flank isn't all a good war kingdom does either.

What Zauper says is true but there's more to the game than being part of successful kingdoms. I think he'd agree. As pointed out several times, I like playing without bots, chats, not randoming and only retaliating. My army gets hit at home all the time oow and this increases the quality of the challenge. I'm not motivated to hit down and this characteristic alone makes me unsuitable for whoring. I try to visit a top warring or whoring kingdom in an age off about once every 10 ages. In these ages I partake in the expectations.

Really I see no reason to be aggressive about phylosophical differences. While many will scoff at most acres gained in my latest vistits to top warring/semi-whoring, it's my humble joy to have provided aid to the chained perceived threats so that t/ms spent full faculties on the enemy. At no point, even in the Pyro-Freeakstyle war had I asked for aid. An empathetic t/m sent me runes.

On Topic - I'm happy to see this war and the conditions that Freeakstyle abided to make it happen. My opinion of QoA is one of admiration for taking this war and doing a monster of a job. I'll edit in a few after looking at the kingdom pages.

The huge nw salients are interesting. Apparently QoA lost mustard on the core front and the Freeakstyle pincer is working on a number of t/ms who I'd imagine are augmenting attacker roles. I'm curious if the shelled bigs for QoA have enough offense to break the lower echelon of the Freeakstyle faery alignment.

I have it on very good authority that Fartstyle's second warwin was arranged and fake as can be. So they get one legitimate war win and Sparta still came out of the conflict with acres and honor plus some explored cows. How ****ing lame.

I think the activity between the two of our KDs broke the server...oops. BTW traditionally in fake wars i would assume you don't mass opposing kds provinces to pre oop wpa and tpa.

Hmn Noobium, I believe we were their second ww, with Sparta being the first. We were anything but arranged, unless we missed a ww somewhere in there.
