Change the name of food-science to 'production,' or something similar, then merge the increase in food- and rune-production under it.
Military-science has been pretty much everything from direct ME to a decrease in losses over the years.
Making it enhance more than one thing would be very nice and cool.
I take it the unicorn didn't play elf this age, or two ages back. I'll settle on 6/5 over reduced wages any day of the week.

Add more move codes at the start of the age, increase the amount of move codes during the course of the age and frequency of new codes being available with amount of provinces per Kingdom during the age.
IE smaller Kingdoms get move codes earlier then larger Kingdoms as the age progresses; encourage growth/external recruitment in the smaller Kingdoms.
Program a way for kingdoms with 12 or less players to merge with other kingdoms that have 12 or less players.
And yeah, please - scrap the trades. Moves are much, much better than trades will ever be.
1 Move code per month for every province under 25 the KD is at end of month, carried forward between ages. Make sure there is 1 check/allocation at end of age, incase anyone leaves at end and 1 at beginning, for lost players.
Make meteors dwarf-only, and make orc immune to fog, while making fog accessible by human, in addition to dwarf.
Alter greater protection, so it's actually 'greater' than minor protection. 7% increase in defense, or something.
As it stands, it's not even guaranteed to last longer than minor protection, especially since it's a human-only spell.
Greater Protection could give +5% def and -11% casualties. Alternatively, make it give -25% casualties and no def bonus so it can be combined with Minor Protection. If so, maybe change name so it's more clear that they're distinctive spells.

Just let greater protection and minor protection stack on each other. 5% boost for both spells.
Not practical, since human has problems landing one or the other already, and layered defenses aren't nearly as cool as two unique spells.
I think I'll start collecting all the good ideas that end up here, and present an updated list each and every day, so stuff doesn't get lost.
human selfspells are already suggested to not have the successrate disadvantage, and why wouldn't layered defense be cool? you already have it with forts, payrate, and MP.
I don't remember saying that having forts, payrate, and minor protection was ever cool.
Wasting a spell in order to make it a potentially stronger version of a weaker copy is a waste.
I like catty's idea of having greater protection increase defense like minor protection, plus lowering losses.
Weaken dicing.
Make paradised acres come from the explore pool.
Dicenerfing would be nice, but how about an individual dicing pool instead of taking from the exploration pool?
why does dicing need to be nerfed? for 6k runes i'm lucky to get 3-4 acres, and that's just insane. going thru 50% mana and 60k runes or whatever and end up with like 30 acres?
i don't have a problem with taking it from the explore pool though, but either lower the cost of dice, or increase the gains from it. as i said earlier, i know it was nerfed before to keep whoring SK from abusing it, but those of us who use it legitimately are hurt by it.
It's simpler to make all the paradised acres come from the explore-pool.
Means people have to go hunting eventually, and can't stay defensive while growing for the whole age.
It won't hurt many of us much, since we all have tons of acres in our pools, anyway.

If it takes from your own explore-pool, which effectively would limit the amount of land you'd be able to aquire in a peaceful, camping fashion, then it wouldn't matter if paradise was 400% more effective.
You'd run out of land in the pool eventually, and need to battle people to grow bigger.
Dicing is overpowered because it makes acres from nothing. I can dice 150 acres a day completely independent of my economy or anything else going on in my province. Top kingdoms all dice and they are forced to choose a race with that in mind.

That's why all or part of the acres created should come from your kingdom's acre pool.
As i said, i don't have a problem with it coming from the explore pool. but it's still going to cost a major amount of runes and mana for a minimal amount of land. THAT's the part that i say needs to be adjusted. not a major adjustment, but a bit more viable for us non-SK type players
My DW Dices for 5-10 acres a pop and easily can burn all his mana running less than 10% towers, so I dont know what your complaining about.
Paradise is a spell for mages, who should have towers and magic sci to be using it in the first place. You shouldnt be able to just whack in 20% guilds and spam away to grow.
my DE on gen manages fine too :P

Give Dark Elf the wall elite 3/7 at an added NW and Cost.
The static defense is too annoying.
Make dice take half the land from the explore pool.
Make mystic
+1 Mana
Guilds Twice as effective
Every 5 Wizzy hold the place of 4 Wizzy.

3/7 would be just as static, when would you ever send them out?
Give them 6/6 if you want dynamic defence, at 7 NW.
The 5 wizzy for 4 thing is just 20% more WPA, you may as well call it that.
I am against eliminating the NW based attack times in war because it makes massive bottom feeding by banks.
Perhaps expanding the NW range for hitting while in war would be a better idea

anyway, I suggest we keep the amount of changes to a minimum this age also, tweaking the game just a bit etc like you've been doing. and for the next genesis age I would go nuts with changes, perhaps add a new race and have genesis act as a test-server for wol.

All-elf gets destroyed by all-dwarf.
Then again, everything gets destroyed by all-dwarf.
Don't forget that it takes a billion years for the elf to reach its peak, while human and dwarf will be there really fast - same with gnome, although gnome isn't even nearly as strong.
How exactly does DW get there faster than Elf, with poorer science and almost double the elite cost?
Elf plunders quicker, gets more sci for the same money, less troop losses on plunders, more able to steal GC...
HU on the other hand, completely agree.
30% better buildings equals 30% better banks, barracks - what have you.
The elf doesn't have the income needed to get anywhere fast, and takes a lot of maintenance and babysitting to be used effectively.
Human's just dead-hard, but it's not as strong this age as dwarf, or a properly used elf.
60% Draft puts a DW wages at around 50% of their income, so Elf effectively has double the income leftover for growth/sci with their half wages.
DW is strong with BE and free buildings, but I think Elf just about tops it.
Yes a properly played Elf is stronger then dwarfs. But it takes constant babysitting to get it there as well as maintaining it. I still say give orcs there 6 def spec back + 5-10% chance of giving plague when being thieved.
Elf: Increased exploration cost from DE and increase magic Eff to 35% during war-everything else the same
DE: add MS and instead of increased cost of exploration give them increased mana cost to dicing 1.50% more mana per cast-everything else the same
Orcs: change Elites to 8/3. give them a immunity to Fog spell, and access to restricted and normal draft only with restricted free/normal at restricted rate-everything else the same
Humans: change self spell failure to offensive spell failure only and give them access to immunity to Fog spell-everything else the same
Gnomes: access to MS and Fog -everything else the same
Dwarfs: no access to Anonymity spell , access to immunity to Fog spell, and access to NM-everything else the same
Mystic: remove access to MS, no rune decay, and +1 mana recovery-everything else the same
Shepherd: no food needed instead of food per acre gain, everything else same
War Hero: reduced losses by 20% in war and OOW 10%. greater enemy losses by 10% in war and OOW 5%-everything else the same
Warrior: -20% attack times in war and -10% attack times OOW-everything else the same
Rogue: no changes
Merchant: access to CS during war-everything else the same
Sage: +5% science effects during war-everything else the same
Artisan: +5% BE during war-everything else the same
lower attack times by 10% during war across the board
increase learn attack gainse by 25% during war
make all attacks gain honor during war
remove Honor losses during war
remove honor gains for attacks and ops OOW
Increase Honor gains for war win
Lower honor gains for individual attacks and ops during war( this will put more emphasis on winning and stop honor whoring
give honor losses that were daily for warring to both kds if war ends in MP
Remove intra kd razing or make it same as normal raze destroys buildings only(prevent land drops)
Give monarch access to kill province that has been inactive for over 96 utopian days
has anyone mentioned fluffies yet? i think Dragons need improving...ive never actually seen any of my buildings destroyed by a dragon or peasants killed in my daily news.....has anyone else? if this isnt a bug, make it so they actually do both these things!
off the top of my head sugg to get the ball rolling:
ruby: -10% ME
emerald: -20% gains, +20% mil losses
sapphire: -30% failure t/m ops & include 10% failure self spells too?
gold: -25% BE
in addition to actually destroying a certain % of buildings and killing a certain % of peasants!
Dont make any Dragon Stronger other than Sapphire, make it 25% flat rate failure to all ops and spells rather than reducing effectiveness and also make it reduce damage from ops and spells by 25%
The building/peasants killed by Dragon is represented by the economy penalty, if you want actual damage then you should remove that.
Kill or Improve Artisan. Possible bonuses include:
-Less (or No) DBE
-Less workers needed for max BE
-Increasing Building Effects (not BE)
Add a Necromancer Personality with some of these bonuses:
-Converts a portion of combat losses to elites
-Constant Animate Dead effect on all attacks
-Spreads and is Immune to the plague (compensate orcs)
-Access to certain spells (Like Nightmare, Fog, or even new spells)
just add a Diamond Dragon that is a combo of two dragons of choice at triple cost, but is only 75% strength of other dragons.
