Bio have good activity, if they ever came up with strat/tactics that matched then they definitely would be SK status. That was the only missing ingredient but it's 1 war, we'll see how the age progresses.

I think it's gg at this point. BIO up in land and NW...unless Proteus and Rage has some tricks up their sleeves, BIO will just keep on farming them now.

Their leadership came up with 22 avians to match their activity. I think thats the only strategy theyll need for this round imo.

im not sure what personality those orcs in Rage are, but theres no way to win vs 22 avians keeping army in/out in a mintime war. Consider orcs easy to ambush and they prolly annon everythit, the atk time differense is just too big for the +25% vs -10% gains to be effective.

I agree.. but it's still a gamble for Avians.. Wouldn't know unless you try it thou. :)

Why was it unexpected? Whoever attacks faster gains land every time. As complicated as utopia may seem sometimes, if there's one thing I've learned is that speed is all that really matters. Speed early to outgrow or Speed in wars to gain a wave, or in the case of avians, two.

When it gets to the end of wars where both sides can 3-4x eachother for 1/3 of their land, getting an extra wave in wins. Orc can hit for as much land as they want early on, 1/3 of it is going away in one wave at the end anyways.

its unexpected because BIO has a history of massive suckage, that even if they flopped a straight flush they played it like 2/7 off suit.

If i had a straight flush i would cbet pot for my hands value on every street as opposed to concealing it and playing my hand weak, which is what most nubs do and end up doing some stupid **** like going all in on the river when they realize the pot is small on the river, and they have a monster, because nobody was aggro on the two previous streets. Be aggressive, win monies.

EDIT: Oh yeah, so Realest was right, play straight flush like a straight flush, not like a 27o. More profitable in the long run!

hmm, i can see why you read it that way, i miswrote that. I meant that they can have a straight flush and still suck as if they had a 2/7.

Anri, old friend. While I value your opinion - I don't withdraw against ghettos. Baka can keep trying all he wants. I think you were on to something there hint...no I do not deem them worthy. I was actually running waves/etc while drinking 7 beers and trolling people on irc. I hope after the 3rd fight with us they will finally stop whoring and trying to be in the T10. Going off Prot's post of rages paper, closer to 11k acres gained.

Edit: confirmed by SHP's post above. You have to remember Rage had explore gains too. Have to deduct those and add it to BIO's gains too :)
