4 raw tpa, 100% sci and 15% wt on a dwarf with 140% BE wasn't enough to stop good thieves this age even at double or triple their nw. All of you claiming that upping your tpa and such would fix the issue are dillusional. You're not stopping a good halfling no matter what you do. Have to agree with zapaza here, every time you poke the bear you run the risk of getting clawed. If you don't like it, don't do it.
Had to join forums after years of playing just to ask, how could you have "nothing else to do" if you are not number one in a game of war, with three weeks left? Just tired of seeing the top use that as a cop out every age. #2 if you don't have crap to do maybe #1 would be a good start. Move up that ladder, not like you get a sweet #2 trophy mailed to you and the end of the age. If you're not first you're last.........
Also, wouldn't be surprised to see next age turn in to F-the top age, as the sentiment seems to be growing.

I think the "F the top" is hilarious. Watch how it turns out for yourself. Stealing will obviously not go over very well, then what exactly are you going to do? After the meter is maxed if you decide to trade out hits your at 12 hits each day while the larger kingdom T's off on you with 2 waves to your 12 hits.
I would say there isn't too many ghetto kingdoms (if any) with the organization or tactical know how to do anything spectacular vs a top kingdom...unless you call giving them a farm war spectacular and a lesson learned :P

Pissing off 1 top KD might be an isolated case but 3 or 4 top KDs razing you says a lot on your KD...
At about Y7 when we just finished our war with Pandamonium, Mr Zombies robs us pretty big time on our 4-5k provinces (sizes back then). The victim shares the news of being robbed badly in our whatsapp chat. One of our smallest provinces send in a trad march on their biggest provinces a feary for land as a retal (for like 180 acres?). This wasnt directed by me, just a natural response my nubs came to. Prior to this incident we have not laid one finger on your KD. IMO the biggest issue with the warring tier is that there is absolutely NO incentive to EVER war someone who you don't have a clear advantage over. It's a testament to the quality of the leaders in that tier that there are ever wars at all that don't involve someone being tricked into giving the other the button. It's human nature, why would some ever war from a disadvantaged position when there is literally nothing their opponent can do to them other than occupying their time? Growth is different, since you are primarily after land it REALLY hurts when you give up a free wave.
It seems like some of the complaints about the top tier razing down (which is ridiculous, we all start at the same acreage, as someone said this is a war game, if you don't like it grow and challenge those kingdoms OR maybe just don't steal gc from them) and how "clichy" it is at the top. Well, that's a function of their only being a few growth kingdoms. Lets be honest, the more kingdoms going for land the better. Yes going for land is more complicated and requires a bit more coordination out of your kingdom. But you can also be successful without going to quite the length's that some of the established top kingdoms do AND since the community is starved for more competition you will probably find a group of very supportive monarchs who will help work with you and give lots of tips and advice. AND their is no reason you can't get just as many, if not more wars than you do when going for honor or WWs (note: we have 5 wars and could probably have had at least 1 more and are currently #3 land).

I don't even play lol, and if your talking last age, im pretty sure there was no cf offered there, because thats when flogger threatened us with pk because i spoke out against you in forum, so stop your bull, if you mean 2 ages ago then yes your kd hit us early age, we stole some gc around yr5 and refused to cf as we had no reason to, because why should we when reward outgained risk for us at the time? as for you saying you don't think it's okay, your kingdom has still done in the past whether you agreed or not, but to be fair the message wasn't aimed at you but glad you feel the need to excuse yourself, BB has always been one of the more fair kds to deal with apart from last age, and 2 ages ago we did work something out for the gc we stole before cf'ing.
As for how to repay a growth, just raze the acres back while casting amnesia/AW the core as that's the ones who will hurt the most, very rarely you'll be able to hurt the cows so no point spending mana/stealth when it could be used on the core, soon enough your oor anyway, go fort as gains in are **** but razes will work just fine and no kd in growth wants to waste a week trying to raze you (warning though, because they will call in friends to raze with them, so don't do it if you ain't prepared for the end game).
Crazy Pete, just cause I point out the flaw in this kinda of play doesn't mean I qq, because I simply don't care, it's quite obvious who's crying about stolen gc while trying to intimidate people to stop so you can sit 9 weeks pumping in peace while bottom feeding. . It's a complete joke and game itself should switch to acre based gains rather then NW as this would eliminate huge amount of this kinda play as a 3000 acres core prov would be forced to hit another 2500/3500 acre prov in order to gain rather then sit with no army in order to keep NW down.

Sorry guys , but you are wrong for how you are dealing with this. If someone steals they should expect retal, but they should not be razed to death nor their kingdom mates. Make your point and move along, but if you choose to do the other and continue to raze provinces to death or try to anyway there will also be consequences for your actions as well and you should also expect it. Read the book A Tale of Two Cities. Those on top that feel they are above the those on the bottom bad things happen to them. Trust me when I say this, the bottom will get their revenge and you will have deserved it.

The funny thing is that at the end of the day, we don't even really care about the occasional rob. The reality is that when we are preparing for conflict, we plan for significant stealing and build it into our assumptions around how much gc is necessary.
What annoys us is when it's a consistent habit of robbing from us, combined with ignoring our messages. The same way that if you message us and ask us to stop hitting your t/ms because you're preparing for conflict, we'll give you a weeklong CF so you can have your conflict without worry about us. Or even if you just message us and ask us to stop hitting you for a bit, we will.
On the flipside, when we message you about stopping robbing our GC, we're open to talking about it -- we could probably give you gc off certain provs and not others, for example. Obviously some provs make gc more easily than others, and much like how you don't want your t/ms hit before conflict, we don't want provs to get robbed of all their stock.
However, when you don't respond to consistent messages, and continue to rob, it should not surprise you when we take matters into our own hands and start hitting or razing you. There was one kd, who didn't answer 5 in-game messages over 3 weeks from me, and immediately messaged me for a CF when we started razing them. And the monarch blamed the players rather than taking responsibility for not ever responding. Another kd responded with 'why?'.
If you're not going to be responsive when you're trying to exploit us until the consequences come into existence, then there isn't much in the way of a solution other than making the consequences larger and more common. We do the best we can to not end anyone's age and not overhit kingdoms / stay out of conflicts and not prevent kds from having fun the way they want. If kds are going to try to take advantage of us, we don't have options other than that though. If you have no provs in range for us to gain off of, how do you expect us to respond to your stealing if you won't even answer the message?
