Its perfectly good info for the crowd in here to know how much he sent to slay the dragon and how fast we can send a new dragon.
The cost for slaying is far greater then the cost of sending. So its win win. Yes, i think it was a "dumb" move and they wont do it again.
Why do i have a lot to learn? Dorje was more then happy to flex his muscles how their faery slayed the dragon. I am more then happy to provide them with a new dragon.
Like i said slaying is far more expensive then sending one and were more then able to send 2-3 dragons daily as merch KD.

Slaying is costlier than sending, plus you lose military population which can take time to replace, draft, and train. Slaying against merchant kingdoms is usually considered bad since they can send another dragon within a wave or so. Of course, that money would go to training anyway.

We slay with our cow as way to bring her (Jem's) economy to bear without the worries of taxation or desertion. However I doubt she can slay faster than their whole kingdom can send dragons.

Btw you never told me how much LL you guys did so far? Was Jem 13k acres at war start? And was the other 3 faerys around 3.5k acres??

Slaying at the appropriate time will mean at least a full wave without dragon bonus it will also halt the runaways growth and stump aid to provinces, depending on the situation for eg: a few chained provinces in dire need of aid or provinces needing the aid to runaway, etc. Also might result in a few bounces depending on the dragon sent, etc.

It makes sense since Sanc started conflict on 89k acres and Simians on 85k acres. We are still 85k acres and you are 97k acres.

I was wondering why you were talking to him as if you thought he was dumb, not about the details about how long it takes to kill dragons. You made the choice of assuming he had no good reason for what he did, and you've done that several times already in this thread, which suggests you don't think he's very bright. I don't think you actually think he's stupid, so you should think a little more about what you write before you post it. If you wanna play mind games (which is a very useful strategy to help you win wars), you probably shouldn't be doing it here in the forum at all. You should take the chance to learn from both what he's saying and how he's acting, because he's doing it a lot better than you right now.

To be clear, I actually like what you guys are doing, bringing some action to the top. I just wish you'd improve the attitude a bit too, because it's what's standing in the way of people respecting you.

No, i know Dorje is smart. Thats why i wonder why he post a story about dragon slaying here. It does not make sense why dragon was slayed at that time. Unless they think it would somehow take down the morale in Simians? For some players in Simians it might seem as it was a good move and tear down morale a bit. Maybe in Sanc its a sign of strength to be able to slay the dragon with the bank. It beats me.

Luc, i have talked like this since i started to play this game. I have no intention to be everyones friend or change my way of speaking to Dorje or anyone else.
This is the way i am and this is the way Simians play. We are not meant to be nice, cuddly or friendly to people because we are here to **** around with people and war them.
The way i am ingame is not the same person i am on irc when game is down or in IRL. Here i can troll and say what i want. Its the internet. People like Dorje has been talking to me and they know the way i play and the way i talk. The only one finding it offensive or something is you Luc. Infact i like Dorje and i respect him a lot. Thats why i war him.
There is no way to progress unless you dont war people like him. If he cant handle Simians mentality he should WD all ready.

There's no worries here, I'm not offended. You don't have to be cuddly and friendly, just saying people will probably not ever really respect you unless you act classy. My advice is you take some pointers on how to be classy from Dorje, that's all. Anyways, keep up the good work forcing the dicers to war, it helps keeping the game alive :)

I dont think dorje meant the dragon killing thing seriously, seeing as he roleplayed it in a fantasy way. Learn to understand prosody.

Hmm, see I had never seen the word, though knowing enough roots I could guess its meaning. Just a quick post for anyone else here who had never seen it before. Thought I think the definition suggests more of an emphasis on the metric aspects?
