First, there are a few things that are in place when you are out of war:
1. Attack time penalties are SEVERE.
2. GBP makes chains and overpopping somewhat obsolete.
3. Gains are not as high as during war.
We would war ZERO times.
Why do people wave KDs? few reasons:
1. they can gain an advantage from hitting said KD, be it land, science, or GC.
2. they are looking for a war.
We would divide explore pool evenly among all of us, and build 250 towers during protection, (about 40%).
come out bigger than all, and continue dicing for the remainder of the age.
Diplomacy would play a massive factor, and before this age began attempts would be made by myself to CF absalom KDs, pulse, and hopefully HaLL kds.
We would generally be able to get CF's fairly easy, at least in theory. Anyone giving us ops will absolutely forfeit all their growth and resources.
We literally could take whatever resources we wanted from people if we maintained proper tpa/wpa. Now, mid-kds and "warring kds" dont give a damn about risking their growth, but we will be in the top 10.
ANd any of those KDs would never put their cow/bank at risk, or want to deal with getting raped by ops.
We would take the occasional 1-2 hits, putting the meter at 4 points, but we could also easily use diplomacy to get CFs.
No one is going to want us robbing all their GC each tick.
I take that statement (especially the one that says "playing for #1 spot") to mean that they're playing to try and win.
