Yeah
calle you are the last person to talk about anything, out of respect for anri and the talk i had with him i wont show the logs of your style of diplomacy, not that i need to since its not like its news to utopia, get out of my thread please and thank you, id value your opinion if you had any semblance of common sense.
Yep, like mrCurious said we are both warring kds and this is what we play the game for. No matter the outcome I trust both kds will shake hands and walk away from this conflict. As for an update on the war, all I can say is that our banks are being very helpful and are only getting stronger as war progresses.
update?
Was actually about to update this anyway, not with papers because i cbf and I'm tired, ask someone in jerks for papers this time, however strategy wise, they are relying on their orc clerics to sustain offense in long wars, and they have kept our faeries low. Seems like they tried to kill a couple of us, but LL is too strong when you have 50-60 mod wpa after being chained.
As we did not expect them to go this long we have changed our strategy and we're starting to alternate hits and ops on their Halfers bringing them down slowly, then we will focus on their faeries. As they've had a dragon on them all war (1 sided sapphire), their networth is significantly decreasing whereas ours are remaining relatively stable.
Land is constantly being exchanged with big hitters being chained, growing back up, and repeating. We are starting to develop a few more Unbreakables while their kingdom just continue to top feed.
Jerks have lost a couple of things
1. The war!!
2. The w/d button (or every shread of intelligence)
turning into a farming fest for Stippers it seems.
oh looks likt they found the w/d button!
The war has come to an end. Those cows proved too much for us. A short summary.
We initiated the hostiles with both kds in aggressive stance. This quickly changed as Haswell went into fort. We had no choice but to keep hitting into fortified, which over time lowered our gains considerably. We were behind in econ the whole time, which was to be expected. Haswell held the button and consequently had the first war wave with synced armies. Ours were spread and out when they declare. They focused on chaining our hitters with low incoming, whereas we kept focus on hitting down T/Ms and few select higher offense provs. The cows from Haswell made sure to keep a onesided Sapphire on us the whole time, which made our ops on the cows difficult. After the first few legs of the war, we had to divert from AWing and focus heavily on bulked NS to slay a big chunk of their dspecs to enable quicker sidetaps for our hitters after they made their hit on a T/M. It was a war with good activity on both sides. We succeed in destroying their TM economy/rune production (they had very very low ppa) - but their cows made sure they had the gc + runes they needed + their hitters enjoyed the sols/gc aid to keep retraining when space allowed it. In the end the difficulties in landing our ops cost us the war. Before the hostile we were caught between a rock and a hard place. We were too big for the kds below us, and too small for the kds above us, so we had to choose: bully down or fight up for a challenge, we chose the ladder. We caught Haswell unprepared for sure, which gave us a initial boost, but our overall wpa/bpa was no match for theirs, as we had to rush our growth through 3 consecutive wins + exploring to try to catch the kds above us. As a consequence our mods feel terribly short and that was a setback in terms of opping as we wanted (as our setup is designed for). Haswell used their dwarves with good wpa to ET our halfers and FB in bulk. Being chained only helped their success rate. All in all i am happy with the performance from my kd, and i/we enjoyed the fight. In hinesight, we probably shouldn't fight a kd that size with beforesaid disadvantages, but f00k it. We are here to party. I wish Haswell good luck in their future endeavours and i thank them for the war.
You still came out of the entire conflict with +7k acres. This was a good war, valiantly fought. Possibly our best war this age, especially with no drama just straight up FSU from start (when you buttfcked us) to end (when we DPed you in return). Now, who is bogdan? :P hope you enjoyed the kd names we have shared over the last 100hrs :)

Not sure what would have happened if we kept it up. There was a bit of disparity in the core at the end, in Strippers' favour. I think we still had more offense, and orc/UD core has more sustain than orc/dwarves, but they were able to get aid and keep decent def on their chained. We also had 5-6 good TMs to their 1. That said, a good deal of our op power was used up trying to weaken Bugs Bunny rather than on their attackers. So I'm not sure who would have eventually won the core fight, or if we could have eventually worked those cows over with ops.
Cows notwithstanding, this war really illustrated the power of having the button. Strips were able to deep chain 2-3 guys very quickly each wave for the first 3-4 waves of war since their attack times were lined up nicely. Props to Jamin I assume for leading the waves, and the crew for solid coordination.
Perhaps we should have massacred their T/Ms during hostile instead of tradding, since they were able to LL a great deal with excellent WPA and all it really did in the big scheme was make us fatter pre-war. As MrC already said, hitting them for land did mean that nearly all their T/Ms' econ was terrible (I saw a faery with like 300 peasants at one point lol). But with those cows making perhaps a mil or more every tick, the econ damage to their faes and halfers wasn't nearly as relevant as it would have been in a war without cows.
Also, I don't really know what the etiquette is on razing in hostiles, but at the beginning, since they were caught so off guard, I think we did have enough offense to hit 2 or even all 3 of their cows so maybe breaking them is an option we should have considered as well.
It proved much more difficult than expected to AW and LL the cows as we had hoped to do. The one-sided dragon advantage was a serious beating; even fireballs were pretty tough to land. Again it's possible that if we had just kept at the aw/prop longer, and maybe had a brief period where we slayed their dragon and sent one of ours, we might have been able to do some damage but it hadn't come together yet. There were a lot of people on sitting this war; with a few more people/leaders going away for the weekend and the hits starting on our T/Ms it was unfortunately time to pack it in.
Anyways, good war, definitely the best/hardest war we have had so far this age.
Jamin is actually new this age and does not run waves (he just has as big a mouth as me and likes to post here a lot), but good summary and thanks for a fun clean war!
lol well i knew cody was away and Jamin was most vocal.
So.. who does lead waves? Silva? :D
We have many talented old-school players who contribute while Cody is away :)
Let's get ready to rumble !!!!!!!!!!

:D ITSSSSSSSSSSS TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I played in Dealscumbreakerauchery all age so far...who is this Cody guy?
It was kinda shared, I led 1 wave and helped with a couple, some of the other guys did the same, it was a combined effort as Silva was busy with his gf while he had her ;) But he led some waves too here and there.
Together Everyone Achieves More. Thanks for the war Jerks, the war itself was fought cleanly and hard on both sides, thanks for WDing, looking forward to more fun later if we have time after all the kingdoms that are lining up for us at the moment :)
Good war guys, your takedown of me was epic. XoXo Black Rage Oh, and I led one of those waves :p. Great thing about the KD is there are multiple ex-kings who love to play but dont have all the time to be a king, but come wave time there are multiple experts. Truly a thing of beauty to see.
gg for good clean thread :) Seemed clear they'd win with their big cows - Cows are harder to OP than one might think
We are an amazing kd, so much <3 for peeps in strippers.
gg Haswell, those banks in general, and that dragon in particular were quite annoying :(
nice thread (xept for the usual flaming :P) and congrats to strippers <3
is always nice when friends war eachother, not really sure who to root for when it happens though :P
