Should Proteus pay KuhaN?

Based on my interactions with ASF, he's a total disrespectful snake. When he needs a NAP he'll pm you and act all nice and sh*t to try to get a deal, but when it's on the other end of the spectrum, and i need him to hold money for a wager, he completely ignores all my pms.

If i had like 2 posts on here, and nobody knew who i was, my money would probably have been gone, so he's not dumb, just a snake. A simple "no, i don't want to be apart of this" would've sufficed ASF.

Don't know what you guys are talking about with these long essays, but my 2 cents.

Kuhan, I was working out of the country at the time this bet stuff went down and never got a message from you regarding this since I was not online. My nick on the Abs server is always online through a bouncer even if I have not been on recently. Had I been around and not too busy I could have taken both of your money in escrow and you would have gotten it after the win.

Did Proteus ever contact ur bouncer? Isnt he in the same irc channel as u?

It's pretty easy to confirm if I was outside the country during that time. I also did still have net access while I was there from my phone and laptop, but had very little time to actually be online. Best way to check on me is through my abs server idle time. You might want to check your logs with me and what idle times you saw on my nick. Besides, what motivation would I have to not want to be an intermediary other than my stated reason of being too busy outside the country on business?

That's fine, but then did Proteus pm your bouncer on irc? I just find it odd that he wouldn't make an effort to reach you when he accepted over IRC, or atleast tell me you were out of the country like you said you were.

I think I did get a message from him about it through the bouncer at one point when I logged on but I think by the time I got it Sanc and Elit's kingdom were already fighting and I had no time anyway.

All parties are in the USA. But tbh I think a court would throw this out. But you never know. Judge judy works some stupid cases.

I offered to hold the money in escrow. Proteus and Kuhan both seem okay with me, so it really should have gone ahead.

Perhaps Proteus can make payments? That's a steep debt for someone to pay off in one lump sum via a janitorial salary.

What is $100 to proteus didn't he say he was a Wall Street baller and make 250k a year? That's like tip money.

Not happening apparently. Proteus lawyered up and was advised that the k was void. Kuhan should take this case before Judge Judy.. he has a good shot imho.

oh well apparently he is a liar as well.. if he had that much of a pride telling he makes 250k a year, he would have not wasted all his time and effort coming up with these excuses not to pay Kuhan a mere $100..

Even though he's clearly lying, because from all of my conversations with him I've realized that he's not a very bright individual, let's play devil's advocate:

250k a year in new york isn't so much that you're wiping your ass with $100 bills. It's like 75k after cost of living adjustment and taxes -- which is a little over 6k a month. This bet would equal about 2% of his monthly salary, or 4% of his paycheck.

Not sure how many people here would wipe their ass with 4% of their paycheck.

aww.. now i feel bad for Proteus.. perhaps we can raise fund to help this helpless guy.. Proteus, if you're seeing this, maybe you could pm me on who should i entrust the charity fund.. just make sure that this 3rd party wont go missing coincidentally, because this will create a big opportunity for me to come up with excuses later on.. =D
