back in the days if you stole you had your hands cut off, so i think a rk is okay :)
I am still trying to figure out what Palem was complaining about in the other thread tbh, I tried to read it but I kept getting lost.
Um, yeah we're still razing. We said we were going to raze kill him, and that's what we're going to do. Duh. Oh, and we're not BB lol.
Palem had a 1v1 campaign going against a one-province kingdom because the guy was feeding on them and wouldn't CF. Just before they had bounced him down to the point of being able to break him, Palem's KD began eating a bunch of waves/hits from outside kingdoms into their hostile. He decided the game was too ****ty to keep playing
I don't know what's going on anymore :(
But I'm still entertained I think
The biggest reason why a kingdom is ghetto is because they lack diplomacy. Use all of that energy to ensure your kingdom has as good as a chance as possible to succeed and try to diplo when necessary with top kingdoms.
Now you have this angry steward from Zombies continuing on saying hostile things rather then you know I learned something here, even if it was an unpleasant lesson. No ownership to any mistakes made means he will obviously repeat the same mistakes. Good players learn from their mistakes and try to get better, bad players don't learn chit and continue to be bad. I would lump this guy into that last category.
When Gb's, AWARS, etc happen or what I like to call Extreme Retribution Situations you'll find there is a handful of players that can continue to be active and play hard.......most players activity drops off substantially and some just plain quit the game in general.
I think the players that would conspire to "take on the top" best all find a cpl kingdoms that you might not care about rather then dragging entire kingdoms down. All's I see happening from this is more players quitting Utopia, and no lessons learned :P
Mess with several bigger KDs (regardless if they are top KDs) and you'll get exactly what is occurring. No one has teamed up against Zombie's. There is no need to so please don't flatter yourselves. Saying so is just being a butt hurt utopian. Don't do it again and you won't have issues.
pffft
pffft
it seems he is dead
if he is a real zombie, he should come back else it doesnot fit zombie kd name anyways.
Palem,
I'd appreciate it if you eased up on the TS, there are some of us still not comfortable after the break up. You might be living in the house again but we are still sleeping in separate beds.
I haven't forgiven you yet, it will take some time.
Seems he's already back, but his name is martyr lmao. Talk about having a complex! Oh, and he chose to be a halfling. Take a wild guess what he's thinking of doing... Zombies, you may want to seriously reconsider having him in your kingdom for your fellow mates' sakes. Nobody wants to make other players quit the game, but if he continues to act up there will be more severe repercussions for the kingdom as a whole. Public warning given, no QQ if it happens k? :)
So you are basically saying your willing to make people quit for playing the game in a way that doesnt suit you? lol pathetic
I'm saying that justice was served and we're willing to let bygones be bygones. I'm also saying that further action at this point would be counterproductive along with giving public warning. You don't like it? Play Farmville or CoC. In utopia, you can be raze killed and you can get your entire kingdom annihilated over one idiot's actions. The kingdom would be wise to keep their players in check or ask them to leave. This is a strategy game, and part of the strategy is knowing when you're outgunned, using diplomacy to your advantage, and ridding your kingdom of toxic players whose actions could very well ruin the game for their fellow players. Don't be daft, this was a kind warning which needed not be extended.
Here I was, slowly losing interest in this game and seriously started considering quitting at EoA, too much of my time put into a dying game and so on...
I might consider making a "retirement" halfer/rogue next age though, guess what I will be doing from the outskirts of ghettoland :)
It's not like ghettos cant tag the same, we wont stop you
Stealing 75% of gc from bottom 4-5 provinces when they are preparing for war/hostile, leaves them without any military as they are TB limited. So with 3-4 provinces in not very much useful condition in war, ruins the war/age for the entire kd.
If they do not think once before ruining our age then why should those razaing now think about them?
Double Post!
Actions have consequences, ghettos needs to learn that, if you steal from top kd's when they're preping for a big conflict they're liable to come back and ruin your age for messing with theirs.
If you just stay clear then they have no reason to mess with your age.
The only way ghettos will ever learn is if the punishment is loud enough, public enough and draconian enough. Because top kd's don't have time to drop what they're doing and punish ghettos when the messing happens, that comes later when top has settled who wins the age. So ghettos needs to learn that actions have consequences even if those consequences aren't immediate.
+1
What does it say about me that I read CoC as that Fenoxo game rather than Clash of Clans?
Of course there are consequences for continuing to steal from a top when warned, that is not what you said in your post though Sarge...
You said you were willing to make people quit if they were "toxic" to the game.. Who's game? Let's face it, they do something you don't like and you call it toxic because a player won't let himself be told what to do... number of ways to deal with this rather then attempt to make players quit just cause 1 won't do as you say.
It reminds me a bit like flogger last age, refuse to do as told and you get threats of full kd pk, in reality I can guarantee people will quit and flogger and any other at the top is full aware of this, they just want to control what's left of the player base in order to be untouched until they say it's ok and their prep time is done (which takes about 9 weeks with maybe one/two wars early (ghetto farming).
So I found this kingdom currently being heavily razed by The-U. Is this also about stealing? How long is the hostile situation expected to continue / which are the points still needing to be made?
Would like to continue hitting the targets on my list without having to feel too bad for them!
Anyone?
Sorry but too many war tier and ghetto KD's hide behind hostile tags when you start waving them so I honestly don't believe it anymore.
Show proof of Zombie's legit hits into a war. I know for a fact CP had razed into other wars in the past. Dicks are always gonna be dicks.
Ideally yes, but I will paint the real picture of Utopia and why numbers have completely dwindled.Quote:
Personally I like when Utopia is a game of conflict instead of sitting around all age. If a kingdom decides to raze your kingdom fight back and take resources from them that they can't get back easily. This game should be about 100s of kingdoms all fighting against each other, any kingdom out of war should be fair game. Any ghetto that puts themselves in a position to fight back is not going to be razed. Do you really think a top kingdom is going to raze a ghetto province if it is going to cost them 5-20k acres of land?
Utopia Lord: Welcome to Utopia Newbie!
Newbie: Hey this looks like a cool little game, how do I play?
Utopia Lord: You create a province and collaborate with fellow kingdom mates to compete with other kingdoms all in your browser!
Newbie: Oh neat, so I get to explore, grow and coordinate fights other kingdoms?
Utopia Lord: Sure, just don't touch any of the top kingdoms, or they kill you for being a noob.
Newbie: Oh.... OK but I get to be sneaky and use magic on people right?
Utopia Lord: Of course, just don't touch any of the top kingdoms, or they kill you for being a noob.
Newbie: Right, but I can use diplomacy to negotiate alliances and truces? After-all I don't really know much about Utopia and am a small fish in a big pond!
Utopia Lord: Actually, you are a small fish in a tiny pond. But diplomacy works a treat! Just a long as it is completely beneficial to the top kingdoms. See you are in a ****ty ghetto kingdom and you don't have the experience, activity or number of people required to play the game on an even playing field.
Newbie: OK so why don't they change the game and make all the kingdoms the same size to level the playing field?
Utopia Lord: Don't be silly Newbie, that would not be very fair for the top kingdoms!
Newbie: Should I even bother with this game?
Utopia Lord: Not really!
Newbie: *Leaves
That's a terrible analogy. In most games players are tiered so the top and the bottom don't play against each other. In hearthstone the newbies complain that they run into players with full collections.
There are always gonna be dumbasses in kingdoms who want to hit into bigger kingdoms for their own jollies. Its up to the monarch and steward to sort that out. I don't see what's wrong.
This is not heartstone, you don't get to keep your resources, land, sci etc. and roll it over to the next age.
The problem is that we are playing the game differently, top kingdoms play with each others d***s to see who can sit around and win 1 war at EoA, where the rest of us are in it for the wars.
Top kingdoms do their CF crap and then overlord the rest of the server with their size while 'randoming' for land.
I see lots of comments from top players saying "expect punishment when you steal from us". So if you random me for land I am supposed to do what exactly? There are not many players left in this game and it's for a few reasons, partially (IMO) the game hasn't had massive overhauls and also the elitist attitude exhibited.
If you guys exclude yourselves from a main aspect of the game, the rest of the server do run out of opponents (other than fighting the same kingdoms over and over).
Hi2u ghetto king! How are your new digs? Palestine can be quite a nubhole in my experience....
