Hi All,

Servers are back up. Let me know if anyone is still having trouble.
Thanks for telling us. I was wondering why too.
Will you update the app to handle the new Kingdom Ritual spells and also possibility to cast on friendly provinces if you play Paladin?
I'm asking cause I really like using the app to play so if you already know that you will or will not include different new features I can plan my province accordingly :-)
A well polished utopia app could start bringing more players in/back.
I totally agree, a major reason for me to start playing Utopia again was because there was an, although unofficial, app to play from. I almost exclusively play from my phone and using the web browser via phone is a pain where the app runs smoothly and you can do most things with it (although it would be great to be able to be able to do all things ^^). Getting an official app that immediately syncs with new age updates and so forth could really make a big change for getting more people to try this great game.
With that said the app is currently broken in the sense that when I click kingdom page and have a dryad in the KD it crashes, any info when this will be fixed?

Hi All,
Thanks for the kind words regarding the app. I've pushed a new version: 2.5.2 a few moments ago. This update will add support for the new age changes.
The new Utopia team have been great to give developers the heads-up for upcoming changes, and I appreciate that. Most of the delay-problems have been from lack of time on my end.
@Luckis: I believe paladins will be able to function in this version of the app. I won't know for sure until the new age actually starts, but I've made a pally this age to test it when the time comes.
Thank you, all.
Josh
Hi again,
It would be very nice if you could add KD-relations when browsing other KDs so you could see hostility level and if there is a CF-agreement.
The KD intel sharing during war is amazingly helpful. Thanks for that :)
I´m considering playing paladin next age, does the app support intra-KD spells?
Any word if this will be updated for the new age? I basically play exclusively from this app now, so it's been annoying having to go back to the browser :p
Hi all, I've released version 2.6.0 which adds support for the new races this age.
My priorities in the near future are to update the uMunk intel sync and to allow friendly spells cast on KD mates. These two things probably won't happen for a few weeks, but I'll try to make time and get these out. Good luck with the new age, everyone!
Thanks for the hard work. Enjoy the new vers very much.
Thank you!
I enjoy the app very much. Thank you for your effort!
I hope one day the dev will support you as well.
Could you update the app so that it gives the option to use credits? ATM it doesn't use the credits. Still living the app though. Oh and it crashed on the science page ;)
I agree with above. Love the app, please fix the science crash and the credits usage. Also was the munk sync and supportive spells fixed?
Thanks for your time and hard work joshmg!
I will third that. Would love a science and building credits fix if you have time. Also can't get it to sync with munk.
A few moments ago I published version 2.6.1. This version resolves the Science Page crashing, as well as adds support for using free building credits. I currently have an email out to Christian in regards to updating umunk (unfortunately I don't have an account, so I need to get a test-account with him which might take some time).
Once my test-province is out of protection I will work on enabling intra-kd spell casting.
I also have heard reports of the app crashing when the phone is rotated and when donating. Firstly, thank you for your (attempted) donations--I will try to fix the donations section soon. I might also scrap the donation section and replace it with Bitcoin Cash donation instead, which will remove the "in-app purchases" requirement from the Google Play store. If you're inclined to donate, my address is: 1GreenZT1zRJdtyYv6FiPznostwKDscBpm -- but really, it's not necessary. I'm just happy to be providing something useful to you guys. Regarding the rotate-crash: soon as I'm able to replicate it, then I'll work on fixing it (I expect I'll encounter it this weekend).
Let me know if there other bugs or suggestions you guys are looking for!
Josh
I can only say thank you so much josh.
Hi could someone who is using this tell me if it is updated for age 75 please? Thanks
To everyone who reported issues with the app: Thank you. I pushed an update a few moments ago that should fix the Download Throne issue due to the HTTPS update. (Thanks for Cody for calling that out in your report--made my life a lot easier).
Good luck this age, everyone!
Any update planned for the new age? Spells dont work and science is of course very different now.
^^
+1
very much appreciate the application you have created and your continued dedication to maintaining this useful tool.
the new science system should translate better for smaller screens and make it more manageable later in the age as scientists accumulate. since the new system rewards activity, users will be allocating books much more frequently to minimize losses from Learn attacks and instantly realize the effects of allocated books; use cases which the app is well poised to leverage.
considering the need to reassign scientists will be less frequent and each of the 3 categories (Economy, Military, Arcane Arts) contains 5/6 science types to which books can be allocated on a tick by tick basis, collapsible sections would intuitively focus user input and minimize the risk of inadvertently reassigning. whether collapsing all by default, auto-expanding the section with the most unallocated books, or allowing users to toggle section visibility, any means of focusing input would be a welcome addition. as the Age ticks on and scientists accumulate, instead of a lengthy scroll, users can just expand nested categories of interest.
the state of core Utopia game-play via mobile, to put it politely, is cumbersome at best so thank you for dedicating your time and talents to making the game more portable/glanceable! also, if you haven't already, it would be awesome if you joined the community on Discord.
Sorry to bump an old thread. Had a wave of nostalgia hit me and was curious to see how the game is doing. Appears to be going strong...still no mobile app but it sounds like one is in the works? Haven't been able to find much info on it though, hopefully it's released soon, would like to jump back in.
Why is this still stickied? Seems like the app link doesn't work. Is this still alive at all?
