Also what makes you think if you had taken 15k from them they had not at least opped you back to slow you and that we had probably just pushed to get more acres elsewhere?

Its not our problem. We prefer to play this way, you prefer to play your way. I find your way both lame, boring and kinda pussy but its your own call to play this way. We play like we consider is more fun and more fair, you can stick to your way of playing. You can debate the subject until you turn blue in your face, 9/10 people will not be a fan of your playing style.

A kd on 0/0 wars vs a KD on 4/4 wars, cmon, no one is really going to buy into all of what you are saying Zauper. Just deal with it.

Moral of story: First raze banks then do diplo. This time I first did diplo without being able to raze banks. Was an error based on me thinking we had good relations. Lesson well learnt. I still love all of u though, but u gotta understand that as Octobrev is my Teacher I've grown more fond of my acres!

Well, we would have noticed you when you came OOW. Sure, you could have waved Spartans immediately, but that's probably a bad call on your part. Initiating conflict with a kd half your size during #1/#2 notice is usually frowned on.

They probably would have opped back, but it would have been relatively meaningless. You could have pushed to get more acres from elsewhere as well, but that doesn't change the fact that we are better served by being aggressive than nice, and taxing is us being nice. Maybe you push div to give you 25k acres instead of 10k if we take 15k off Spartans. GL absorbing another 10k acres and prepping for war at the same time?

I'm not pissed off at us for having 0 wars. I'm annoyed that you guys are complaining we've had no wars. We've been open to warring on multiple occasions, but people ask us to not war us instead and if we can extend them -- and we've been generous on that. You can't simultaneously ask us to extend you because you feel like you'd be at a disadvantage warring us and want to war us fairly, and then complain that we continue to grow without wars while you convince weaker kds to war you instead of us.

I'm pissed off that we go out of our way to be generous and nice to kds that are at a disadvantage vs us and all we get for it is **** in the forums.

Shrug, ok. You can pretend there's a difference between our playstyles if you want just because you have wars and we don't. The biggest difference I see is that you have had better luck in either timing CFs for wars or convincing kds to fight you instead of us. If that's our fault for being 'too strong', then so be it.

It seems to me that you feel like we should lose the age, or our playstyle is bad, because people haven't been willing to war us all age and we've been nice and respected that -- and that is the epitome of the honor/WW tier logic. It's not that we haven't had a war because we've been dodging them (I don't even know how we would do that), it's because every kd in range has opted to war someone else, and we haven't pushed the issue.

The div situation is a perfect example. They setup a deal with you guys to enable them to dodge us, but if we wanted to force the issue we could have because the deal was poorly worded (as I pointed out to both you and them). You initially even said that you wanted us to war them so you guys could pump and whore to match us in growth and you were worried that they would farm out to you. Then you said that you were going to refuse to extend them. At that point, we have two options -- we can force our poorly worded deal (and get conflict + a lot of drama), or we can just go grow so that we feel like we can compete with the winner, who we expect to win big (and who did!). So we grew. And it seems like you're upset that we didn't let you get a significant land advantage vs us through war, which doesn't really make sense to me. While you simultaneously complain that we didn't fight any wars. Well hello, we could have fought one there. Or we could have just fought you after BB instead of doing the nice thing and extending you for free so that you could pump to compete with us. But yeah, we're the bad guys for not warring or whatever.

I think the problem Cappo got with the 4 man KD that farmed out 12k is that they explored a bit while getting hit?

We had no possible way to train up like CR did in the time CR did because after 3 quick wars we needed some kind of place to pump our KD.
From the outside it looked bad watching how hit after hit was made by a few provs while this 4 man KD did not respond back at all to ingame mail.
There was never an answer to why they explored while getting hit, nor to why they did not retal and so forth. Who played the 4 provs farming out, do you know, what did they say to you?

Actually they left fort and explored immediately before we started hitting them.

AFAIK they didn't explore at all after we started hitting.

One of the two actually ducked into vacation mode the same tick we hit him, and got kicked out about 12 hours later by bishop, only to log on and set VM again, this time being kicked out and suspended by bishop very quickly after it started.

That's why one of the two didn't do anything, I'm not sure about the other.

I said all along that had he just retal'd with razes, even if he farms out to the rest of the KD, it would have been much smarter and given us a lot less above-the-cap acres.

This. You can't simultaneously refuse to war us, and then complain that you warred while we whored and pumped.

I mean you can, but it just doesn't make sense.

The bigger systemic problem is just that with you guys warring and nobody else on the server whoring aggressively, we got every single good target all age and nobody really had the leverage to slow us down or put us at risk of falling behind in a hostile, etc...

CR been putting hits / razes into Panda's cows without any retal. Pandas have been putting their hits into CR's T/Ms with their larger avians. Meter is 11 to 14. Both sides opping a bit.

Hey guys, if noone else apart from CR is going to do it, I will. Zauper is a GREAT guy and a GREAT player. Am I pissed off he took land from me by force after us being their "allies" for 2 ages, yes I was. However, he was doing what was in his rights to do so. I also very much believe in the fact that many KDs simply do not want to fight them and therefore they're forced to either be dicks or get their land in other ways.

Same time Pandas also have their rights to be aggrieved because they seemingly take the "harder" route, be it by volition or forced to.

I would highly recommend everyone here to just interact as respectful adults. We've all done dumb stuff in this game, not one of us is entirely clean. Everyone is equally wrong and right. Now, let's get back to this war.

Put that attitude on top of the fact you tried to **** Pandas from getting acres from Divinity and you know why diplomacy broke down the last week.

Let's have a nice war, no need to throw stuff. CR is an excellent kd with great players and has the top position for this war, but Pandas have been perfect and did what the game needs these days, a top kd who wars it's way up, should be a fun and exciting war.

Draft on humans were mostly between -1ppa and -2ppa. I think Zauper had already previously talked about bpa differences but I believe it's ~400 bpa advantage to CR with most of the bpa advantage being in the cows and TMs and less in core.
