Actually it's easy to verify what happened there. We gave notice to them and they sent a dragon early. I went in and negotiated and we actually took a very small payment for the dealbreak and gave them a long term cf deal. It was a nub mistake from someone in their kd and I didn't see any upside in exploiting an honest mistake. I saw a lot of upside in trying to treat them fairly and make them feel welcome in the game. That is what I'm about and what my kd is about. Our principles and core goals are all aligned to that outcome. Step one is getting everyone to settle down and stop the dirty play and let go of old grudges and realize this is a game and it's fun and we can all be at least cordial and respectful. Slow going so far, but I'm an optimist :)
By the way, step one is exactly why I was okay with the idea of taking two kds who did not "play by the rules" and allying with them. We are working together with them to strengthen them as kds, to teach mechanics, to teach them the accepted ways of dealing with issues. How to properly plan, how to play clean, etc...
It's a work in progress, but if it works, that's two more strong kds in the top. Not only that, but their leaders have been quite an eye opener to me. They are eager to work together, to learn what they don't know. They listen and adjust and try to do better. They are good people trying to make good kingdoms, and I'll back that to the end of my time in this game.
All this don't matter atm Drixx. Concentrate about war and enjoy it :)
