we played half an age last age and won 7 wars with only 15 provinces so warring ghetto is boring as hell no challenge

I play in 25 ppl kd in mid/low top 50 range, where the most warring kd's are. Not the best kd out there but not the worst, and we dont pick on inferior oponents.
Thats not the point tho. I spend half the age in hostily/war/eow cycles, and inbetween wars most of the time I am in full war build with draft ranging into 70+ ready to war w/o 48 hours notice.
Runing learns and using income to retrain losses is by far superior to actually paying science in my case.
You are aware of this. So once again I fail to see whats the point of your post ther than to throw word "ghetto" out there ?

you hit chains a lot eh ? No worries, I'm the same way.. I usually only hit the chains, and never early on.
But, there is a difference in play between growth styles kingdoms (yours) and heavy warring kingdoms (mine). But everyone knows this.

have we warred this age ? I mean, we usually only target kingdoms slightly larger than us, or equivalent NW with 25 provs ourselves. You, yourself do not seem familiar to me though... so it is possible we haven't crossed armies this age. (btw, I'm relatively easy to find, just look at the elves on rankings, can't miss me)

I don't really consider chaining to be fair play since it's not really beneficial in war and it's only used to ruin players' ages.
You're absolutely correct that there's a difference! Though their strategies are quite random, practice-warring kingdoms play a vital part in the hierarchy of utopia. They adhere to a sort of aggressive, warrior paradigm instilled in them by the media and release large amounts of endorphins when they manage to make a kingdom "withdraw" from war stance. You'll generally see them using magic and thievery ops, massacres, homes, chaining, and other silly things they believe to be of benefit since they have a symbolic relation to the paradigm. In war, they decide which kingdom is "better" by counting up the acres that they gained or lost. Although the gain is, in most cases, lower than what they could had accomplished simply paradising, they get pretty stoked over it. These kingdoms, through their aggressive play, instill morals on future top players such as activity, basic province management, and teamwork. Once a player is deemed worthy of a spot in a top kd, all we need to do is actually teach him how to play through i.e. game mechanics and simple logic.

nature, i guess.. some people are more prone to "violent tactics" than others. Either style of play is fine for me, as long as I can play at my leisure. And to be frankly honest, I don't give a crap if we win, or loose, I just log in, do whatever it is I'm supposed to.. or feel like at the time, and then go about my day.
Of course, playing through game mechanics in which a kingdom uses war protection in order to keep other kingdoms from interrupting their chosen path is always good for someone.
