What would I do?
I'd run 100 MOD DPA MAX.
Run 20-25% banks. 10-15% Towers
Run 60% draft with about 3% leftover in solds.
Start funding an unbreakable.

No, you have not achieve substantial amount of growth. Like i said it is really hard for 20 of ANY kingdom to get 250k NW now at this stage of the game. If you think its a great achieve ill congraduate you once again. People that havent reach it because they prefer to war and stay small or achieve honor instead. Reach top 15 then talk. But then again you'll probably whine about people attacking you.

Well, youre wrong. Theres no way he wouldve gotten 78acres from you attacking you at 53% nw. No orc could have that much gains science right now to compensate the bottomfeed penalty, and a non orc wouldnt even come close. Ive done enough crap nw hits to know that by now.

200k nw province(s) hit inactive 180k nw province. Several days later, the nub inactive login and outraged that he lose lands. He check the kingdom page and found out that his attackers already leave him far behind the nw range. =)
All KDs/Alliances that seek nw/land chart, need to hit save, simply that you won't want acres exchange that will delay your goal. That is what called strategy.
Of course we should hate ABS, they are in the top for too much times. :P
Last age I was hit by provinces over 200k bigger and I made them look foolish. Take over 2times the amount of land they took from me. Of course I would get 3 provinces from the same kingdom attacking me but I still ended up with a little more acres than started off with. I didn't care I just wanted to person that attacked me to know "you bottom feed of me know you're going to lose a lot more than you gained."
