Hi Palem, 6671 players according to council page. We are still in beta, though the bug number is dropping. Since you've been around we got a new anti-cheating system and a server upgrade.
Yea, I asked for them to unlock my account like a week ago and they just now got around to it. Did the server upgrade actually do anything? The game still laggy like no other?
I might join back up, these changes look absolutely terrible.
And where did Patience run off to? When I left she was on a mission to make this game awesome and now I see nadda from any mod except you lol
tick is about 35 seconds for me, and pages load pretty much as soon as i click the link. the other mods are around, but they dont idle on here like i do - thundergore is about a fair bit though.
meh, maybe me hanging around will stir things up. Place is even more of a deadzone than when I left

The game contracted some, our developers tried to pin the decline of the game on the userbase, we've had another attempt to blame things on 'hackers,' and 'meanies,' the tick's reduced in time, crystball now no longer exists, and there's a real crusade against cheaters going on.
So not much's changed - it's pretty much the same as when you left.

they've actually fixed some bugs! *faints* :) and there "mostly" is no lag any more and the ticks are much more non-intrusive (although let's see if that holds true when the player base doubles).
they made some pretty ugly changes this age though...

Looks like our *****in and moaning might have actually done some good afterall. Did they get more people on the support team? When I was asking for my account to be removed Craig was the only one I was dealing with and when I asked for my stuff to be unlocked I'm pretty sure it wasn't Craig I was talking to.
there is someone else who reads the emails, but i don't know who it is. Craig has done a very good job and I'm glad he has returned. no idea what happened to Patience, she just went *poof* into thin air...
i still see patience online - and both sean and brian read support mails, but i believe it is thundergore that deals with the majority of them.
So the game is going forward step by step. Good to hear that effort is being spend on this game. Although I find it a bit late at least late for many of the Core oldtimers.
Not sure it's going forward but at least it's alive. You can tell by the few posts in the forums here that it's not exactly a vibrant big community!

I just created an account in Utopia, it seems like its working quickly in terms of load times. I'll see how things go once I exit protection but so far I am enjoying the smoothness of the game. Hope it stays this way.
