Cats vs Legacy

Is cats going for their 2nd loss straight in a row, or are they able to triumph over the legacy despite lagging behind in acres and nw? Any updates?

Let me just remind that Victorinox dont represent any side of the kingdoms. He just a troll that tries to stirr the pot.

Comparing both kd page, prov stats n racial combos. Cats seems to hv a better chance.

Cats had 2 weeks war with Sanctuary? Don't think any kd after this long war going to be hipper active in his post war to prepare for war another kd short after exit from his war. Its normal if legacy win.

Seriously, Legacy's theme is very annoying. Is that intentional?

Cats started this conflict, so it should be assumed they were prepared and wanted it.

Definitely curious to see how it goes. Legacy has improved a lot over the last couple ages :)

It's unfortunate people are unable to distinct the trolls like this guy and Lemans from the actual posters and there are no restriction on impersonating with the intent to discredit other's whereas silltalk causing no damage is not ok.

As for the war, I am fully back from spa now and things do look a bit grim. We have one sided drake on them though, as well as large econ advantage and better sustain in orcs, but the initial waves hitting up x4-5 due to all our orcs being tiny from Sanc war paired with enemy princes running enough opa to break same sized T/M's are still hurting. Lots of acres and T/M power lost there, the idea is of course to have more than 3 UBs. Numberwise we can still win fine, but people are tired from the Sanc war and there are currently too many unsilly mistakes being done and not enough forumspam.

We fully understand you guys are just not trying and have low moral from a previous war with a real opponent. Things would have been much different if you guys really wanted to win.

Your analyse of the current war situation is spot on, we expect you guys to turn the tide anytime now...This one sided dragon is killing us... + the 3 UB you guys have... Not sure how we could overcome this.

Does Legacy have the offence to deal with those big faery in cats? Doesnt really look like it from the outside (without taking sots)

Legacy hit us twice as start. We didn't wanna sit around til eoa, so we hit back and started a dragon.

Do you realize that Legacy most likely has 4 elves and 2 haflings that are UB?
This war is over for SPGC. They can delay surrender by a day or two, but they have no shot at winning here.

Ya, it seems like 2 faery from cats vs 4 elf from legacy.. Kinda outnumbered

Cats = 2x 12k acre faery with great econ and oor and untouched by legacy t/ms + 1 large halfer rogue

Legacy = 2 halfers and 2 elves. who have been completely unsuccesful in doing anything to the two faery from cats.

Legacy is still tanking emerald. it will fly away in 3 days and a sapphire will take it's place.
Cats have had no dragon for more than a day and Legacy just started a gold dragon a few hours ago

Faery is good. I pity the fool who underestimates Faery.
Legacy's Avians are interesting. I thought Avians sucked? I wonder what personality those Avians are using...
Can Cats' Halfers hang in there? They all appear to have high nw/a, and tanking an emerald is painful for any chain attempt against them.

Avians problem is mostly raw numbers and sustain. At duke/prince avian/cleric have pretty solid opa and the cleric keeps them in there even with an emerald. That said, off is dropping and not being retrained, whereas the orc's don't actually lose any off normally. We opted for a bit less anon'ing than normal to transfer some of that honor, that means some orc elites die but also decreases avian bonuses.

The problem of raw numbers and sustain is exactly why no one that wars long wars runs them.

If cats faery are really untouched, they can definitely fight back. Furthermore with the dragon advantage, I think it is a matter of time legacy start crumbling down.

What are cat faery personality? Are the 4 elves and 2 halfer in legacy ub as well?

Wars like this are stupid, FS and cats run pretty much the same setup. They can war forever, even tho beeing down huge acers. Need old raze back or everyone gonna run similar setup next age, and that will be super lame.

I'm the first to agree NoseBlood. Sillflogger expressed it well in the next age suggestion. Wars comes down to stamina in keeping up army in army out and number of T/M's instead of strategy, it's becoming really boring to war in this game anymore. The problem is the extent of changes this would require, as you would need to balance T/M's with decreasing attacker's sustain, and the devs lack game understanding to be able to do this even if they had the time.

On the bright side for Legacy they also have a lot of peasants on their elves/halfers that now started to grow. Unfortunately this growth makes them even less able to deal with our faes, and the avians off keep's decreasing..
