Blackmail for cf's...

The first few times I saw it this age, it was the anti abs threatening to farm out to AMA if ABS/HoH wouldn't cf them... I told ABS then, if we let 1 KD blackmail us, they will all do it. So call their bluff...

The first time, ABS let it happen, because the threat was dangerous to them. The next time, it wasn't convenient for them, so they said "Absolutely not, we can't let this kind of thing become a habit"... (not exact terms, but I can't post actual logs without breaking my word).

Later, we noticed Legacy. They immediately pm'd me and said "How dare you, we will farm out to Rage before we let you hit us"... So idiot that I am, I said "Fine, consider notice retracted". But then, oddly enough, they did just that. Donated a nice chunk of acres to Rage after Rage told me they were outraged at the proposed 'farming'.

Days later... I notice another KD, and I'm told immediately "Rage told us they won't hit us, unless we get noticed by HoH, Havoc or Sanc". If we get noticed, then Rage gets 15k free acres.

So while it's wrong for the anti abs to even think of doing such a dastardly thing.... It's okay for them to do it to their own alliance mates and enemies alike.

I realize the odds are very much against HoH winning this age. And we accept that. But we will go out with our heads held high, we will know we played fair, honorably, and we kept our word.

It's a race for the top spot, with 3 ABS and HoH at the top. So yes, it's very competitive, and everyone is scrambling. That's the nature of the game. But the double standard of "You can't black mail us, how dare you"... flipped with "We will blackmail you and in doing so, we'll block our own 3 alliance mates, rather than the anti ABS" should never be accepted.

Win or lose, it no longer matters. I know what my future holds. And I know that this has been the saddest age ever in Utopia, from a diplomatic standpoint. It's no longer a game of strategy, it isn't who can war the best, or win the most wars. It's about who can be the biggest bully. And sadly, that isn't me.... I have cost us many wars/acres by being too nice. And I accept that. But those of you that are blackmailed into donating acres or giving cf's, there's a very simple solution to it. Raze retals. Take a lesson from Mansoor.... If they hit you, raze them. They lose in the long run and they'll think twice about threatening you in the future. Sure, you lose acres, and you may drop in ranking... but hey, atleast you stood your ground and you didn't let them bully you.

Welcome to the world of Rage of Absalom. Isn't this why Fury said they left Abs?
We're still going for the age win despite fighting an uphill battle. Cakey btw is hitting into our active hostile...they will get theirs. Rage has the advantage now, let's see what aabs thinks of this and if they will do anything about it ;)

Im not sure if its different but we got similar threats by KD's we treated fairly nice :)

You wave us we farm out to X. Results in no one waving. It is quite stupid. AFAIK hopefully it will be dealt with differently next age :)

except theyre not your allies goodz. your allies don't say, don't wave this kd and we wont let them farm out to us...then they go against that and do it.

I've been on vacation during past week enjoying the beach and the sun, is the point of this thread to blame solo kingdoms for pulling the "hit us and we farm out" card or is the point of it blaming other kingdoms allied to HoH who hit other kingdoms for land as the meaning is unclear.

Lmao goods you aren't one to talk you won't even login to send a notice you send it to anri who is getting married and doesn't even hold monarch or steward and you expect the rest of the kingdom and leadership to see it? Plus you're saying your notice 2 hours ago counts for 22 hours ago when we cfed another kingdom so now instead of 47 hours in notice you're claiming we only have 20 left after the fact that you found out the other kingdom you noticed after us had already been noticed.. that's how abs runs their cfs?

It's not a matter of blame Proteus. I know you are most likely going to win, because you play with a completely different set of rules than we do. But 1 of the points is... You not only block anti abs, you block potential targets for your own allies, with your own blackmail scheme...

On a serious note though, perhaps you (HoH) should finally start carrying the Absalom tag. As long as you're HoH and not HoA, you are simply in the "ally" category. They don't want you winning the age over their own which I understand from their standpoint. This is simply my opinion though. I don't know much from an outside perspective.

hoh who have benefitted tremendously from alliance is now complaining about it. If they were allied with rage they would prolly farm out.

how do i know this? some of their human provinces have 2% pop science and 15% magic science....

kygal, dont complain about current diplomacy when your kingdom has been the main beneficiary the last 10 ages.

2) Block allies from targets? Correct me if I am wrong but everyone is always competing to gain land from other kingdoms, there is a limited set of targets out there and everyone wants to be the first to hit them. The difference is I do not call dibs on anyone, case in point is when 3 kingdoms had cf expire with a certain kingdom at the same time and one of those kingdoms happened to call dibs and tell others they are 'Not Allowed' to try and wave them first. This person was not me.

Your posts appear both hypocritical and inaccurate. However, since you have refused to discuss issues in private, I assume that you don't really care about the full story and just feel that #1 is slipping away so are resorting to baseless public attacks.

Legacy told me you were waving and said here take my acres before HoH gets it. I said no we don't do that. We still had no ingame cf and waved them 2 weeks later in a completely unrelated set of circumstances. Rage refused their "blackmail" attempt, but that didn't mean Rage couldn't ever wave that kingdom all age.

Hoh, Rage, and Havoc all had their cf expire with SWEA at the same time this age. Rage had rejected the cf extension request and therefore Mansoor threatened to farm out to HoH. HoH didn't even want to wave them until later but wanted to block rage from it. So you called "dibs" even though we were the ones planning the fight first. We let you guys have them even though we could have waved them first.

As for the kingdom you're referring to in your post, Rage noticed them while you were busy with SWEA. We were in position to farm them but it would have wrecked the rest of their age. We had preferred to take their land right away, but decided to have a heart and let them keep the land so they could have other wars and not be in a bad spot vs kingdoms their size. Obviously, since we got their first while you were fighting SWEA, we could only afford to not take their land immediately if they were obligated to tell us of any other notices they got so that we could act first since we had already noticed them. This didn't mean they would farm out, just that we would wave first since we already noticed them before. This deal was good for the other kingdom (hence why they wanted it) but was risky for us since taking their land right away would have been the better bet for us.

Crowning has become rather unexciting these past few ages due to no strong competition and after the #1 crown contender is defeated weeks in advance of EOA it essentially boils down into a race to see who can farm the most smaller kingdoms. This is why I have been focusing our efforts on wins over quality kingdoms the past few ages and being the most dominant rather than purely focusing on being the biggest as it is not always the best kingdom who wins the crown. Also considering its a tight age I offered you to war for #1 with the best warring kingdom winning, you didn't want to accept so I hardly see what the problem is other than you wanting to win and getting upset others hit targets before you can.

It has nothing to do with winning the age. It's the fact that every KD we notice, has a 'we'll farm to Rage" or "If you notice us, Rage will farm us" clause If you want to wave a KD, do so

Well last age we had Sages and found it was too tough to get wars. If we had rage or another Absalom kd in mind to war I'm sure sage would have been worth it. If you're gonna make these offers to war within an ally or alliance make them at the beginning of the age , not when it suits you. I for one think it's a great idea. BTW our sages would have pawned your sages, 2500-4500 bpa kd wide last age. 2500 bpa was our low end.

Ally blocking is lame, but lame isn't against the rules. This is contradictory for several reasons. First of all you got to fight BB and SWEA at your choosing. Obviously you dont get to hit every target you want with numerous kingdoms competiting for land

Also correct me if I am wrong but you said it was unfair that Havoc was warring AMA round #2 after their first fight, you wanted them for yourselves and were sore about it. I understand you want to hit the targets but so do other kingdoms, the early bird gets the worm. You aren't entitled to just get to hit whoever you want, you compete with 7,000 players for targets.

Second of all you yourself attempted to block Rage from waving SWEA this age. Rage, HoH, and Havoc all had CFs end at the same date with SWEA and any of those kingdoms was free to wave them immediately after Cf ending. SWEA tried to negotiate an EOA nap with us by threatening to farm out to HoH if we do not Cf them. You flat out told me that we are not allowed to wave SWEA even though we were both cfed with them at the moment and had our cf expire at the exact same time. This is called blocking your allies from waving a target and calling dibs.

Its highly hypocritical to call out others for 'blocking' you from waving kingdoms when you just waved 2 targets of your choice and told us that we are not allowed to hit SWEA even though you were cfed with them and not hostile.

I offered you guys to war if you did not want the age decided by who wins by farming the most small kingdoms out of war and by a war win. It was merely a 'if you want to deicde the age this way, this is an option proposal.' Sanc made us the same offer last age and we could not accept it as we had 3 wars with beastblood+ an EOA hostile while Sanc was able to pump science the entire age, otherwise we would have and it would have been a fun war.

The only one who lost face is you, you made a deal to war Rage, got scared of farming out and deleted yourselves. Breaking deals = losing face.

Why's net age going to be fun, because you guys are finally going to follow through with the deals you make instead of deal breaking? Or are you finally going to war kingdoms in your skill level and not try to play it up, realize you can't hack it, and end up spending $50 to reset your kingdom instead of having your land taken against your will?

We've had kingdoms come to us and say they will farm out to you if we don't cf them. When that happened, we let you fight them because you were adamant about ensuring we didn't get them first even while you complained about having to fight them now instead of later when you wanted to.

When kingdoms came to us and asked us to farm them before you could wave, we flat out told them "No, we don't play like that", and said they should do whatever they feel best for their kingdom vs you even if that was bad for us.

While you were fighting the kingdom you insisted on getting before us, we went after another kingdom. We noticed them but they let us know that us waving them would pretty much screw the rest of their age. We apologized but said we needed their land now and couldn't just leave them since if we left them then later others would get to them first. They agreed to let us know if anyone else noticed them if we held our wave. We got them first before you due to you calling "dibs" on our other target. You were busy, so we found a new target but then agreed to not hit them down for the time being since with no cf we could still hit them later if they were under threat. They already had one war after the time we would have smashed them and it's benefited their kingdom a lot. It didn't actually hurt your kingdom since had we smashed them while you were busy with SWEA, then they wouldn't have any land for you to be interested in anyway and we'd be well ahead of you.

Did you approach us when you were way ahead or pumped? I love how you want to talk **** about our KD now that you feel you might lose. An ally and players who have stood by your KD repeatedly even though most of time we rely on you, you are making excuses to avoid returning the favor and talking down to your allies. Real classy. How many times was HoH pricks to other kingdoms this age? Many. I don't know why they're bringing it here. Seriously, HoH allying with Abs is probably worse than what people hate about Abs. Can't wait to see what Stoffem's has to say about this.
