First lets congrats emeriti on #1 land and nw, and padovia on ww and honor. not an easy feat for either kd. next

-This ranking is not to be considered a "power chart". It's simply how each kingdom did with respect to all of the charts.
-I am human. I can err. If you find a mistake (especially this age with my excel skills needing to be dusted off), politely point it out and I'd be happy to correct anything that's wrong.
-Constructive criticism is always welcome. I think I've proved time and again that I'm willing to adjust the chart to make it better, so long as it supports it's purpose.
-Chart is calculated using the relative values compared to the chart winner, per chart. Exact formula:

That is probably about right. I would only have the option of going over the numbers manually to add every kingdom on the server, but don't really have enought spare time for that. I recon there is about 125 full kingdoms left which is why some did not make all 4 charts for t100, the closer the number drop to 100 the more will actually make the list statistically since fewer will be dropping outside t100 anywhere.

what a ridiculous chart. Theres absolutely no fathomable reason why anyone would ever put plaidovia ahead of emeriti, who were undefeated and only didnt get max war wins because everyone was either too scared or too ****ty at the game to fight them.

War win crowns mean nothing when you dont fight against the best KD's.

I think you need to reconsider the weighting of those categories, Persian. Anyone can spend weeks warring ghettos to get honor and war points. Hell, you can top the honor charts by farming inactives, as we saw last age. GL trying that with the land/nw charts tho.

c'mon now don't be bad sports each category is even as not everyone considder the nw and acre charts to be most desirable. 36 ww points is over 5 for each win, you can't get that from a relative opponent nw of 80%.

To win ww crown and honor crown both you can't have a single bad war, and you must continue to war all age, to win nw and land crown you can build on an early lead, once you are ahead it is hard for others to overtake you and both crowns are usually given to the same kingdom as nw follows acres more so than honor follow ww's since you can win a war while beeing down in honor.

i didnt make that chart..palem did. he just hasnt been active enough to make the chart the last few ages. And to be fair like ANY tweak to that formula puts emeriti as #1 and i personally think they've been the best kd in the game for many ages running and not coming in #1 doesnt mean they aren't the best it means something else was at play.

I think this is the strongest argument against changing the formula here: anything that *does* try to be a power/best kingdom chart is going to be subjective. This is a fairly simple (if time consuming) calculation that provides a nice snapshot of about how well a kingdom did. Judging "best" from it isn't really possible, any more than my "power rankings" each age actually mean "best race" - I always try to be clear I only measure what I can put some sort of facts behind. Similarly, telling how "hard" a chart is requires judgement - saying someone got 80% of the top score on that chart is a fact though.

I am sad this wasn't created the age my kingdom (Warcraft) was in the T5 for land/NW - I wanted to see if we would break T10 on this combined chart as well. For someone like us, ranking well in this chart is kinda a decent goal in and of itself - we know we won't win any crowns, but being pretty ok at everything is cool. (Plus, we like to war, but not baiting wars so much, so just going war chart isn't really fun either. I consider any age with 5-6 wars and at least one win more fun than any 3 war age, even 3/3.) For those of us in the upper middle, this is a pretty decent measurement of how we did in an age.

If you are not happy with the factors that decides the ranks why not make your own chart instead?

Emeriti has no aspirations to chart well in all categories. Their priority is crowning. Are you also upset that Emeriti didn't finish #1 in honor and war wins? The chart is as fair and unbiased as it can be. You're trying to introduce bias so that the outcome matches what you think it should be.

I would argue that introducing weightings to the combined charts would be more in line with how the original developers envisioned the games charting system working, as war points and honor were only introduced later to give kingdoms that couldn't manage the huge activity/strategy/diplomacy/planning demands needed to crown in land/nw something to work for. This is reflected in the relative power that being high on the land/nw charts gives the relevant kingdoms vs being high on the honor and ww charts.

As I said, the honor/ww charts can be potentially won by a kd staying small and warring ghettos the entire age, or as we saw 2 ages ago in the case of the honor charts, even just hitting inactives for honor the entire age whilst staying too small for anyone to hit you to take that honor. One might argue that a larger kingdom could just rk the smaller honor kd, but that fact itself implies a bias in the games mechanics towards land/nw being more important than honor, which ought to be reflected in any combined chart rankings, surely.

Its Age 80 now and if that was the chart for age 79 .. you do the math.

Age is not over yet and Allanon already has begun on the "we think our crow is better than your crown" thing again.

That honor and ww crown can be won by staying small is an argument that does not really hold anymore it has been many ages since those crowns was won from people outside the t20 simply because winning many wars get you up there.

That most warring kingdoms don't explore away their entire pool but just to get chained provinces up to the median acres does not make their achievements any less. There are many more kingdoms bidding for the ww crown than the land crown, and the race for the crown are usually not decided in week 4 of an age, and occasionally 22 man kingdoms can even have a shot at that crown.
